Lawless Lawyer commented on Neptune's news article in News and Announcements
To say that I am disappointed that it has come to this is an understatement. We are supposedly all adults here, yet with how things have turned out it seems that people love drama too much. I shall not dwell on that, however. To Tema, Neptune, and the other staff on ED, I wish nothing but luck and easement through the trying time that you are going through. The storm is harsh but it will break and normalcy shall return. In what time? I cannot say, but I have a feeling that things will turn out okay and everyone can learn from this experience and become stronger because of it. That is the hope, anyway.- 11 comments

Location: Thorndown University Campus Evelyn had pushed all of his buttons in all the right, or wrong, depending on how one were to view it, ways. The lawyer had never been one to flirt successfully, nor had he been able to pick up when a girl was flirting with him. The girl who sat across from him had a different aura about her and piqued his interest. He had plenty of stories to tell her from cases in America that would take a bit to get through. Evelyn would have all the time in the world to listen to his voice. Being a lawyer, Brighton also had an affinity to speak. So this was fine to him. The man's eyes went wide at her suggestion, and his face darkened with his blush. He swallowed hard as he rubbed the back of his head. "W-Well, I sure wouldn't mind that. I have a case story that would take a lot of time to talk about." He cleared his throat, and Brighton gave a slight shudder. He was getting very worked up with her antics. His reaction may be what she desired to witness. Was it getting hot in here, or was that his blush? He realized that he didn't give a definitive answer, so he nodded. "Yes, I would love to take you to my place so we could have more coffee and talk." He internally sighed, giving her a very sheepish smile. Good going idiot, you aren't very smooth when you are worked up. The thoughts rang out in his head. But she doesn't seem to mind this, so don't mess it up!- 470 replies

Location: Thorndown University Campus The lawyer couldn't help but blush a bit at her giggling of what the patent was. Truth be told, he didn't want this case in particular. However, everyone has a price, or so they say, and Brighton was not about to give up the chunk of cash he was offered. He smiled a bit at her faint interest in the case. Yet, he was still a smidge embarrassed by the subject matter. "Aha, yeah..." He started to speak sheepishly. "I would like to think so, but being what the patent is about, we have to tiptoe in the courtroom." He rubbed the back of his head gently. " Certain protocols must be upheld, and with what it's about, it's proving very difficult for both lawyers." When she flirted back, his already apparent blush started to darken even more. No one had ever complimented his deep voice. He was already picking up on the fact that she had an interest in him, and it made him allured to her as well. Gathering himself, he told her, "Thank you for the compliment. I haven't had my voice appraised in such a manner." His lips parted to show his gleaming white teeth in a pleasant grin. "I could return the favor of us talking for hours. Seems like we both are very interested in each other, are we not?" He focused his own voice to be as sultry as hers, but the soothing tones of it threw that off.- 470 replies

Brighton nodded his head at her quip about the discussion of cases. "Well, in some aspects, I am allowed to discuss certain aspects of it. Not everything, mind you." He paused as he ingested more of his coffee. "I am able to discuss the overall arc of the case. What it's about and smaller litigation aspects. For example, the case I am currently working on pertains to a lawsuit that regards a specific patent that is being contested over two parties. It's essentially over who the actual creator of the patent is and who should get the designing rights." He explained as he looked into Evelyn's eyes. He got lost for a moment before coming back. "Though you may not enjoy the details of the item in question as it has a much more...how do I say this nicely..." He paused as he blushed rather darkly as he thought about the item. "Mature...use in nature." He finally admitted. The lawyer cleared his throat as he admired her long hair. It seems he appreciated her beauty in some regards. He cleared his throat again, turning his head to the side a bit to help clear his dry throat. "My apologies, Evelyn." He stated cordially. "I seem to be getting lost in your looks." He flirted casually. Brighton wasn't used to sitting down with a woman. Due to his constant need to be following his studies, he hadn't been able to take the time to learn how to socialize with women. "Your eyes are very pretty and your hair is gorgeous." Location: Thorndown University Campus Brighton seemed to mellow out as Evelyn giggled and, furthermore, when she smiled up at him. The offer that the man proposed was simply out of friendship. However, he wasn't entirely sure that is what the two could classify each other as such. His smile returned, and he seemed to be back to his calm stature as they sat at the table. This girl was as calm as a cucumber it seemed, and Brighton was glad that she hadn't offered even a scoff at his mistake. Truth be told, he was still tired even after getting his coffee as it hadn't started to set in yet. It was entirely possible that he wouldn't snap out of his groggy state, but dammit, he was going to try. He perked back up at her response to his question. His head started to list to the left slightly as she admitted to the method of what she preferred to drink. He noted how she preferred it, and nodded at the sound of strong and sweet. He gave a light, single snort of laughter at the notion of no one touching what she drank. Her question received a bit of silence as he was thinking of a response. He gingerly cleared his throat. "I prefer mine to be white chocolate mocha if I have to drink coffee." He mused a bit before continuing. "I don't drink coffee unless I am exhausted or if it happens to be cold or chilly out. I suppose that I co-." BZzzzzt! The sound of his phone buzzing cut him off. "Oh my, excuse me for one moment, my dear." He lifted his phone and looked at the screen as his eyes darted back and forth. It seemed that he was quite the reader from how fast his eyes were moving. After a few moments of reading, there was a click, and he put the phone away. "I apologize for the sudden email I received here. There is a big case that is coming up that I am assigned to after I complete my testing." He smiled rather brightly. "Though I would rather not go down the conversation of that topic as I am sure you would find it dull."- 470 replies

Location: Thorndown University Campus Brighton suddenly paused to think about the offer that he just gave. He sat there silently for a moment before his mouth drew back into a sheepish wince. "Ah. I guess that offer was a little too forthcoming, then wasn't it?" He looked away with an embarrassed chuckle. "An offer like that when I have just met someone new can be taken as ill intentions." He shook his head. "Not really an excuse for it. Not going to offer one." The man gave a stiff sigh as he relaxed a bit. He did his best to shake off this mistake. He had been so hard at work for the past few weeks that his mind had been very frazzled. After another few moments of collecting his thoughts, he cleared his throat. "So any specific type of coffee that you like to drink then...?"- 470 replies

Location: Thorndown University Campus He chuckled at that, smiling brighter. "I guess you could say that, Evelyn~." Brighton purred a bit as he drained the last of his coffee. He sat the cup down and started to speak yet again, but he found himself stifling a light belch. He managed to contain it so that she didn't hear anything. "Oh, my goodness. I am terribly sorry about that, my dear..." He shuddered as he shook his head. "Guess I got to talking too fast as I ingested my drink." Brighton sat up straighter as he cleared his throat. He had a darker blush now, but it was more of an embarrassed flush rather than a flustered one. "So, what were we talking about before I started to ramble there?" He sat back now, trying to think. "Oh, right." He recalled before looking her in the eyes again. "I live in a small apartment just off of campus. I would invite you over some time for tea, but I am still learning how the customs here work with that. Is Ashea like the United Kingdom in that way?" He asked, genuinely curious.- 470 replies

Location: Thorndown University Campus Her words actually got him to blush a bit. He couldn't help but chuckle at that. "Guess that is a fair and valuable assertion on the matter now innit?" He smiled in return as he seemed to let his natural drawl return. "I don't let it bother me. If we live in the past, then we are going to miss the future. I used it as a life lesson. Now I am always paying attention." He was slowly losing the shell that he had and was more or so opening up. "You learn to spot inconsistencies in your day to day life." He cleared his throat and took a drink from his coffee that had become lukewarm. "Since I am fairly new here, I do not know what the routines are in this area. Once I learn them, I could easily spot any strange inconsistencies and know something is up. However, we are in a university, and therefore we cannot always predict that something is wrong when there is something new in the area." He nodded before suddenly realizing what he was saying. Brighton gave a hard guttural laugh and sighed. "Sorry, that went entirely off the rails there. I went from a life lesson to sounding paranoid." He chuckled again. "I am sorry, love. It has been a long day of studying." Brighton suddenly looked forward before reaching into his pocket and pulling out his smartphone. He looked at the screen for a few moments before shaking his head with a 'tsk' sound. "Oh, the mates want to have a night of fun, and I have to decline." He put the phone away, laughing softly."- 470 replies

Location: Thorndown University Campus Brighton did his best to stifle a look of utter disgust at the mental image of plates that held day old food on them. What he couldn't suppress was the shudder that went down his body. Whereas the lawyer was a bachelor, Brighton wanted things to be clean when it came to the sink area of his apartment. He had a few distinct memories of living with a few roommates that had less than adequate manners in that department. He quickly cleared his throat as he straightened up. Looking down at his button-up shirt, he gently brushed any crumbs that fell from his muffin. The same biscuit had not been touched since he began to talk to Evelyn. Brighton nodded. "I understand how you feel." He took a quick sip of his drink as he collected his thoughts. "Independence is something everyone should strive for in my honest opinion. If someone is living on someone else's dime trying to attain it, then why stop them. I unfortunately had to because of my eye. With this disability, I had to rely on what money I could get." He gently wiped his hair away to reveal the eyepatch more. "Losing one's hand-eye coordination makes things very difficult when it comes to jobs that require gentle work." He balked at the mention of 'other' work. He gave a quick sigh before shaking himself out a bit. The cerulean blue eye that had focused on Eve seemed to glisten a bit on the reflecting sun rays that bounced off the table. "One of the reasons I became a lawyer solely rests on the aspect of detail." He started to spin his tale. He briefly paused as his eye darted a bit as he recollected what happened. "The lack thereof can cause a detriment. Whether it be in the law or in life. Some details should be always be noted of." He cleared his throat again. "I wasn't paying attention and ran face-first into a barbed-wire fence. Long story short, I lost vision in my eye." He shrugged some.- 470 replies

Location: Thorndown University Campus The young lawyer looked around the cafe's interior, looking at the patrons that entered and left. He had broken away from the conversation for a moment to study all that was going on there. Brighton watched as he looked out for anything out of the ordinary. Perhaps he was looking for a legal case to go on. Who could really tell? The lawyer took a few quick drinks of his coffee and sat down the half-full cup before returning his attention to Evelyn. He gave a soft smile at her question. "Well, it is technically called the Uniformed Bar Examination, but everyone calls it the BAR because it is shorter. It is essentially the test that shows you have the skills to practice law in the States." He gave a simple explanation. This was really the only practicable description for the test, but there was a lot more to it than that. He raised a brow at the girl when she told him about her living situation. "Humph." He grunted in a way that wasn't angry nor curmudgeonly. It was a weirdly, fascinating grunt. "I remember the times I had to live with my parents to get through a community college. I don't particularly appreciate being trapped somewhere in which I can't be my own person. Then when I got to a university, I was able to be independent." He shrugged casually. "But I should visit my parents now and again. Least you have a decent dorm, right?" His question being in the tone of very cordial.- 470 replies

Location: Thorndown University Campus Brighton's curiosity pinged a bit more after she told her story of her family. He seemed most interested in the fact that her grandparents came to Ashea during the second World War. "Interesting. My family is too young to have been anywhere near the wars. Course I never knew my great grandparents, but hey. It happens." He gathered his thoughts about her father's profession. "I have thought about computer repair, but because reading a screen with one eye gets troublesome, I had to choose another career. Also, I wanted to be a chef as well, but the hand-eye coordination factor makes it very hard to work rapidly in that environment." At her question, he had to take a moment to reflect on it. "I guess you could say that when I first arrived here." He nodded as he took a large drink of his coffee. It seemed he was becoming more alive by the moment. "However, that is only natural to arrive at a new area. You have to take a bit to get used to your surroundings." He cleared his throat again. "Then again, I am only going from my apartment to the library here as I study up for Ashea's version of the BAR exam."- 470 replies

Location: Thorndown University Campus Brighton gave an accidental stiff sigh as she switched. It was one of the natural ones where your body goes to yawn, but upon realizing what you are about to do, you cut it off, and there is a loud sigh. He reeled a bit at what he did and shook his head. "I apologize for that as it has been a very long day of studying." He responded cordially. He took another sip of his coffee and also reeled at that. "I also seem to forget that coffee is hot upon receiving it." He scrapped his tongue across his teeth. "Not a very good first impression, huh?" When she sat and told him about what she was studying, he nodded as he was doing his best to keep up with what she was interested in. As Brighton had said that it was a long day, the coffee hadn't hit him yet, and his attention span was taking a hit. When she told him she didn't have a specific interest in discussing what he was interested in, he nodded. "I don't see the need to talk about the law and other ordinances to someone who doesn't study it." He said bluntly. "My intention isn't to be rude, but even the rudimentary aspects of the laws are quite complicated." He paused after her question. He cleared his throat before answering. "I come from the United States. I was born in the Southern areas of the country, but I lived in the Midwest for most of my life." He finished by taking a prolonged sip of his coffee. It had cooled enough by now so he could drink it without scalding his tongue. "I moved here to start a new adventure you could say. What about you?"- 470 replies

Location: Thorndown University Campus Brighton had made it halfway through the upper part of his muffin when a feminine voice alerted him to the girl he was inspecting. He slowly raised his head as his furrowed brow raised some into a type of inquisitive look. After carefully pondering to himself, he slowly nodded. "Student is a relative term. I am a licensed lawyer, but in moving here, I have to take classes to practice. I am new to Ashea itself and, I need to learn about what ordinances it has and what practices to follow." He stated matter-of-factly. Brighton looked over the girl. He took in her large, blue eyes, her delicate nose, and her shapely mouth. "She is a pretty one." Brighton mused in his head as he took note of her looks. He was mostly focused on the mane that was her hair. Long, sleek, and black strands kept his attention as he slowly wiped his mouth with a napkin. He cleared his throat as his focus turned to her eyes. "If you want to join me, ma'am, I offer you the seat across from me so we can chat." This was very unusual for Brighton to do, but the loneliness that he felt from just getting here caught up with him. He gave a soft smile as he looked at her locks of hair again. "The name is Brighton Masurati. You are...?"- 470 replies

Location: Thorndown University Campus A door to the library swung open, and a tall, scrawny looking man walked out with books in his hand and a sports jacket on his back. He made his way over to the small café, looking at the store with a hungry gaze. As he strode into the café, he set the books on a table gently. He quickly threw on his jacket and shivered a bit. Getting used to the new weather here would take a bit, but he shrugged off the cold feeling he had. He turned toward the counter and slowly approached the staff. He stopped a bit before the cashier as he read the menu. The woman a the counter smiled cordially at the young man. "Oh, hey, you are new here, aren't you?" She nodded at him. "Care to have me suggest something, or do you know what you would like to get?" The well-dressed man nodded. "I know what I want, but I thank you for the offer. I just wanted to make sure I had my order ready." He cleared his throat some. "I will take a large white chocolate mocha with cream..." He paused as he waited for her to get the first part of his order down. "And a blueberry muffin, lightly toasted." He finished with a smile. Maria was typing away. "Is that all?" The young man nodded. "That will be it." He said gently as he paid her. Once he had exchanged the currency for the goods, Brighton made his way over to the table and sat down. He opened a book that held the laws of the land. The new person began to study it. As he read, he briefly glanced up to see a young, black-haired woman enjoying her drink. He studied the beverage for a few more moments before looking back down. A few moments later, Maria brought him his order. "White chocolate mocha and a toasted blueberry muffin." She chirped. "Hope you enjoy it and welcome to Thorndown University." She gave him a wink. Brighton happily took the items. "Thank you for the warm welcome." He responded politely. As she turned away to leave, Brighton took a small sip of the coffee. He reeled as he burnt his tongue a bit on the piping hot liquid. "Oh, damn it..." He said under his breath as he fanned his tongue a bit. "That will learn me..." As he waited for the mocha to cool, he started to read again as he looked at the book. Every once in a while, Brighton would nibble on the muffin as he was engrossed in the book.- 470 replies

From the album: Mastertarium's Menagerie
Character Identity Information Name: Brighton Maserati Age/Date of Birth: January 17th, 1995. (25) Gender: Male Religion: Agnostic Species: Human Origin: Midwest, USA Nationality: US Occupation: Lawyer Physical Appearance Height: 6'2" Weight: 195 lbs (88.45 kg) Eye Colour: Blue Hair Colour: Blond Physical Description: Without a suit on, Brighton is a tall, slender fellow with a bit of stubble on his chin. His long dirty blond hair comes down to just over his nose when it does not have gel in it, pushing the glorious mane back. He has an eyepatch over his right eye. It is the classic black leather with the three straps that go around his head to come together at the hold point. His strong chin amplifies the intimidating look he has as his face is almost always in a constant scowl. Brighton always looks focused and ready to object in the courtroom. The professional setting he works in requires a suit. The pieces of the suit are a very dark, almost black Armani blazer, a snowy white Van Holsen button-up shirt, dark navy blue slacks and, jet black dress shoes. Sometimes, but very rarely, Brighton will wear a Stetson hat that is black and has a velvet feel to it. When he is not in the courtroom or located in his office, Brighton wears a variety of polos ranging in color, a white tank top underneath that, blue jeans and, white sneakers. Personality, Traits, and Abilities General Overview: Upon first meeting this lawyer, one will notice his signature scowl. The scowl almost always reflects the young man thinking about many things around him. When the time arises where the scowl means something other than Brighton's usual visage, there is an aura around him that you can sense. However, when approached, that scowl will fade away to a soft smile and overall friendly demeanor. He seems withdrawn in some aspects as on approach; one may only get short answers if they are curious about who he is and what he does. After a bit of prodding, the young man will finally start to open up about his life. His bluntness shoves people away from time to time as he doesn't correctly hold back from speaking his mind. Whereas that hinders him in some areas, this particular quirk helps him regularly. You know Brighton does not pull strings as he tells you like it is. There comes a time where he has to lie, but there are two places that he cannot as there is a law that binds him from telling a lie. Those are the courtroom, and when he is with friends. In the courtroom, there is a persona switch. Instead of Brighton's usually calm demeanor, he has a cold and calculating stare. This glaring look has been described by those who have been in the room with him as piercing. He knows when things are amiss, and the lawyer will not let one get away with it. Strengths, Skills, and Abilities: Brighton is a talented lawyer. He can be a dangerous presence in the courtroom as his charisma is very high. His intimidating scowl makes his appeal higher. Being a human, he doesn't have any abilities per se. He is a witty fellow and can talk his way out of almost any situation. Being a lawyer makes him very logical and continuously thinking about the world around him. Weaknesses: Women, alcohol and his bluntness. Ambitions (Hopes/Dreams): After getting done with law school and starting to become a lawyer, Brighton wants to be one of the most well-received legal personnel he can be. His other dreams include getting married and having two children with his future spouse Hobbies and Interests: Brighton is an avid Warhammer 40k model builder and painter. He doesn't play the game at all, but Brighton loves to build the models. His favorite army is the Necrons because robots are cool. The lawyer also loves to collect old videogames. His current collection is small, but he hopes to have as large a selection as possible in the future. Being a layer as well means Brighton has a soft spot for reading. When he is not into a law book, he is almost always reading a sci-fi or fantasy book. Personal Sexual Information Sexual Orientation: Bisexual Turn-ons: Facesitting, ample rears, yoga pants, underwear, light musk, gym clothes, gas, facials. Turnoffs: Scat, blood, BO, Watersports. Penis Length: 5.5" Additional Sexual Information: Virgin STD History: None Extra Information Father: John Masurati Mother: Amber Moreign Siblings: None Grandparents: Unknown Children: None Grand-children: None House: Apartment. Car: Old truck. Pet: None Additional information: (End of Optional part. The rest of the form is required unless stated otherwise.) History Awards/Commendations: Graduated Magna Cum Laud from his law program. Criminal Record: None Bio: Brighton was born in a large city in the South part of the United States. He didn't spend much time in that area as his family decided to move to the central area of the Midwestern region of the US. While there, he was playing with a friend at the time when disaster struck. They weren't paying attention, and Brighton accidentally ran into a barbed-wire fence. He ended up mangling the side of his face when he collided with the structure. It also severely damaged the eye to the point it couldn't be saved. The eye was covered with scar tissue, and it is an off-shade gray color. Without the loss of his eye, his hand-eye coordination became terrible. Try as he may, he could not gather the ability to do several normal tasks the same way again. With this, Brighton had to choose what career he wanted. However, with his options limited, Brighton decided to be a lawyer. Knowing the task would be an arduous road ahead, the young man set his goal to get a Juris Doctorate and become the best lawyer he could be. In law school, Brighton noticed that he was slowly regaining his hand-eye coordination. It seemed the paper and homework he had written had eventually started to make his ability to move and see the movements work again. With this, Brighton was able to write faster and, in doing so, have more time to revise his papers. After this revelation, he went on to go to the top of his class smoothly. Brighton eventually graduated Magna Cum Laude from his law school. Today, Brighton is currently looking for employment in a new land. He hopes to find someone to settle down with and start a family. -
When I say size difference, I generally mean slightly larger females, but smaller males. Macro on micro can be fun as well. Furry is preferred, but everything else listed is enjoyed as well.

Hello, Ecchidreams and Dreamers, I am an older dreamer returning after a long hiatus and it seems the place is still here. ^^ Some things I like? Well, the obvious thing being My Little Pony and skunks, so if you are into that I wouldn't mind roleplaying! How long have I roleplayed? About 7 years I think. So I have experience. I do have a bit of a neurological disorder so that will afect my post lengths. If you are picky about that then I will do my best! Hope all goes well! ~Mastertarium
