   I know what that title implies but this isn't any sort of serious critique, I've been absolutely addicted to all things Monster Hunter recently, and I wanna talk about it. Any of it tbh. I can't say I'm interested in any character beyond their designs, their personalities and story stakes are... Incredibly basic. I'm all for character driven stories but there's neither character nor story, it's like if you tried to tell the writer of God Hand to make a serious drama, but I LOVE those damn relics to death, the lore of Monster Hunter is seriously fascinating.    I have bizarre mixed feelings about this game. It's free to play with a season pass, you unlock wonder woman for free and there are four rotating characters that are playable for free at any given time (right now being Superman, Garnet, some dog I'm not familiar with and Finn), but everything else has a very steep cost for what you get. 20 bucks for a BTAS skin? It's in my heart, but not my wallet lmao. It's a pretty money hungry freemium game. This is an odd thing though. Growing up I was a big time Warner Bros kid.    I'm not far because I had to restart my save because I was playing the release version (no updates) and that ended up corrupting after the update! But I am loving it now, the updated version is so stable and fun! I wish crafting weapons wasn't so costly though, I just made my first melee weapon besides the starting one!

   So I have quite a collection of retro games I'm working on or have yet to play, for systems such as PS1 & 2, Game Boy Color and Advance, Nintendo DS, and even as early as the NES, SNES, and Genesis. I also have a few for my Steam library. The usual categories, from first to last, involve RPGs, Platformers, Arcade, Racing, Shoot em up, Brawler & Beat em up, Hack n Slash, Adventure, Farm Sim, and some puzzlers involving Bubbles, Marbles, and Gems. I've found out that the more indie, under-the-radar games are drawing my interest more than the mainstream AAA games, most likely for availability and compatibility one whatever I play on.    Surprisingly I haven't seen anyone talking about this even with all the craze for it and how it's the 2nd most sold game this year. I would love to discuss progress and things everyone has discovered! I'm a huge legend of Zelda fan and have played most if not all of the major lore filled games in the series. I've personally explored and mapped out every region on the surface and have gotten around 1/6 of the depths, mostly because its creepy.
