As spring begins to dig it's way out of winter's cold, dark grave religious feasts celebrating rebirth have long been celebrated. Here, in the American Midwest, magnolia trees and daffodils are blooming as pale buds start to show on many other trees and, with Easter looming, resurrection seems a natural theme.
