Yora Usman

Usman is a Senegalese former Legionnaire Étrangère who has returned to Africa. His is a skilled, if cautious, soldier rarely given to bombast or foolish risks. Yora jooined the Légion étrangère just after he turned 18 and spent a dozen years honing his craft in France's service around the world. He prefers to be assured victory by having a plan ahead of time.

Usman approaches the war against the robots with a deliberate, measured intensity. He is otherwise, a friendly, outgoing man. He is a lean, hard block of obsidian 188 cm tall that moves with the purposeful, predatory grace of the jungle cats of his early years in Indo-China. How it is he still carries a MAS 49/56. Yora has not explained, but he is rarely seen without it slung, muzzle down, over his right shoulder. He most frequently wears his tiger-print cammies, boots and an olive drab tank-top. Lean, well, defined muscle ripples under his dark black skin and a fierce intensity burns in his equally dark eyes.
