Believe it is just going to be the three of us. Probably not likely to have anyone switch over, unless if they really like what we come up with, more than what they are doing. Assuming any of them read along with what we are doing. Though we have to develop more before that could happen. I’d fine with either the three of us, or someone switching over. I was wrestling between the basic setting ideas as well, but steampunk could be fun. Having nonhumans might make ours more distinct, whether any of our characters or not, and I don’t make ours a little more distinct (maybe, though again, I have not read what they are doing since the split).

ah wait we are down to 3 players then for this side? or is someone from group 1 switching over? personally im fairly flexible, to the point where my kinks and interest list is... for practical purposes optional, ill try just about anything once sexually per person if they think they can make it fun. that all said im a big media nut, i like scifi, fantasy, and just about everything in between... i personally would love to lean into the weird west angle and try some unique and odd things... with that said im currently leaning away from having my character herself being a beastfolk of any variety, im liking the idea of leaning into the pher

I told Isabella privately, but yeah, I am still up for this if both you Dreams are. I haven't been following team 1 since the split, just see they have been discussing more, so I don't know everything they are up to but we can make our own thing. Though I still don't have much for suggestions of what I really want to see, maybe what Dreams wants and what you do with your character will help.

Well, sorry if it is because of me but I'm happy for him nonetheless if he will enjoy the first group better. I've read a bit on that side and it seemed to go well on the planning phase. Something that can be taken as a joke but I feel that's real: "My toxic trait is overthinking" and yes, I know, I tend to do that a lot. I've been told for decades to stop overthinking and I can't avoid it. I'm ADHD and it's like our prime issue. That said, I will wait for Satai and Dream to speak (IF they want to) so we can discuss things. I tend to plan these things better as a group than alone. Btw, though... I have not been adding to setting stuff as much as I thought I might, but yep. Me and Chiyako are waiting on Gard (no update on that yet, still looks like, hopefully early, October). Dai will be ready whenever it is his turn again, give Dreams and you a chance to write first.

This step is “the things we want to make sure exist in the game for it to be fun.” So themes, scene, set pieces, technology, etc. in Pathways we’ll add specific NPCs, groups, locations, and events. What we add in pathways is definitely going to be in the game. So we want to cast broad strokes here, then get specific pinpoints in pathways. if everyone is more or less in agreement, I’ll setup the pathways chart and post the Pathways Step 1 instructions here once I’m back on my laptop. I’m playing Auntie Daycare at my nieces house right now and typing that out on the phone is going to be a nightmare.

Wall of text ahead. tldr: Sarah's family gets killed. She's adopted by the First Nation band that killed them. Lives happily for years. Army kills her clan, tries to repatriate Saha to settlers life. She escaped, starved, beaten and exhausted then gets found by Ashborn. I guess becomes a kind of monk.

Oh I think that'd be perfectly fine honestly. I'd even take acknowledgement of them even if the group never quite sees them just as news or something while they're traveling on the airships. Admittedly the Gliders is a holdover from the other group since...different world. I just copy and pasted lol but my intention was for them to be another glimpse at the future which is fast approaching rather than to totally remove anything cause Gliders are cool and fun but it did take a good while before the became planes which I do see is an exclusion.
