Am i a shitty GM if i keep forgetting about the games to the point that everyone forgets about them? I gm for 1-2 years and i never finished even a oneshot because over time i keep forgetting that i run a game and it just dies out? (Repost from monster hearts thread)

Hello, my comrades, compatriots, and collaborators. Thank you for taking the time to drop by. Here's my pitch. I'm looking to RP a long-term, plot-centric RP surrounding two adventurers as they go from quest to quest, gaining connections, power, and experience, which they'll need if they want to stop the coming storm. Something old, hungry is clawing its way back to the surface, and unfortunately these two idiots are the free races best hope at survival. I was kind of hoping for a charismatic doctor, clever, charming, and probably a little too good at getting himself into trouble. to go with a cold monster hunter, lethal, discipline-

Your darkest self is supposed to be the state you're in when you lose control of your monstrous part You stop being a teenager and you give in to your monstrous cravings. This often means you take on the role of the villain of the story, and that might work well for an opening scene. But really the point of an opening scene is to figure out what kind of narrative we're looking for. So for a first season I don't think I want to start you out in your darkest self.

What I put into her sheet was: While performing the Watching Hex upon Velvet a spooky, scary voice spoke to me in my mind! I think. It felt like something ominous was speaking, at least. Chastising me for poking my head where it doesn't belong. And then it ended. Really spooky. Is there something more to her?

Either works for me! Though this third option seemes nice... it could be that well the connection worked for a moment... something sinister spoke in your head chastising you for poking your nose in where it doesn't belong before the connection snapped? Leading to that exchange itself being a string?

My current games are Texas Chainsaw Massacre (yes, I'm aware it's a dying game but DbD stopped working for me and desperation will not let me quit) and Hogwarts Legacy. I love killing as family, and just killing the enemies in HL in general. Healthy exercise of rage and blood lust.
