Preface: The topics, themes, and views I explore through roleplay and especially through the lens of my characters do not necessarily reflect my real-world beliefs. I do not condone misogynistic, homo/transphobic, xenophobic, or racist ideologies, nor do I condone illegal and inhumane actions such as murder, kidnapping, rape (including sex with minors with or without "consent"), and human trafficking. That said, many of my roleplays do explore such themes in ways that are intended to paint them as deplorable, villainous, or misguided at the least. If any such themes disturb you, understand that they are not inherent to my roleplays and do not reflect the extent of my interests. I sometimes provide trigger or content warnings where I feel they are necessary, but I make no promise of such things as a comprehensive list of everything that could possibly disturb you is simply an impossibility. So if there are any boundaries you'd like me to respect then please discuss them with me ahead of time to avoid any unnecessary complications. It's not that I don't care, it's just that I realistically can't cover every base. ============== What to expect from my roleplays I am generally very open about what I am willing to roleplay. However, I can be fairly picky about how and with whom I roleplay. I do not force myself to write when I'm not feeling inspired to do so, consequently I may go a while without replying. I usually try to warn people ahead of time about this tendency of mine, but sometimes I fail to do so. Please understand my intention is not to ghost you if this happens. I care deeply about all of my roleplays and chances are I've thought several sequences ahead and am very excited to get to certain plotpoints. On the flipside, I also try my best not to get ahead of myself in the action. This may come off as really boring to some, but I think it's important to set a standard for what is regular day-to-day life for our characters before any action begins. Unfortunately, I find this kills many of my roleplays before they get the chance to really get good. If you find the roleplay boring, please let me know and I'll try to come up with new ideas to spice things up! I promise I won't take it as an insult, but a challenge to make things more interesting! ============== How to approach me Please do not just message me asking me for roleplay right away, or just saying "hello" and nothing else. While I try to be open, this kind of low-effort introduction tells me you aren't actually interested in me specifically, and you've probably sent the same message to many other dreamers. Please give me some indication that you've at least looked at my preferences and tell me what it was about me specifically that caught your interest. I do not take kindly to being approached in-character. I will not roleplay with you unless we have mutually agreed and have discussed our interests and boundaries. And I certainly will not want to roleplay with you if you approach me rudely. =============== My interests in roleplay Perhaps I'll do one of those fetish list things here at some point, but for now I'll try and sum up my perspectives on the types of roleplay I like and what I enjoy about them here: In general, despite my irl sex, I usually prefer to play as female characters. I am capable of playing as male characters, but I almost always prefer playing women. I also am a-okay with playing femboys or playing with them, too! Generally, my roleplay interests fall into one of two categories: Wholesome or Dark. I generally have more experience with dark scenarios, but I can absolutelyr adore wholesome scenarios, too! In spite of the distinction, I do believe conflict is necessary to some degree for a good story, so even wholesome roleplays will require some sort of conflict. Beyond that, sometimes these stories can evolve dynamically from one end of the spectrum to the other as lessons are learned and characters grow from their experiences. These might be called "Hybrid roleplays". In general, my roleplays tend to revolve around my character undergoing a dramatic transformation in personality after some life-changing experience, for better or worse. Maybe a rebellious punk girl learns she doesn't have to be so defensive around someone who genuinely cares about her, perhaps an innocent church girl learns that sexual desire isn't something she has to be ashamed about. On the flipside, for darker roleplays, it could be that a tough character learns that she can't always rely on her own brute strength and ends up being forced into submission, or a character might have to compromise on their own identity in order to survive a dangerous situation resulting in an undesired shift to how they see themselves. ---------------- Dark Roleplays My dark roleplays are capable of getting extremely dark. I'm always willing to reel things back to my partner's preferences, and because of my near limitless perspective on roleplay, it's especially important to me that you express any limits or boundaries you might have with me and let me know right away if I'm starting to take the story in a direction you aren't comfortable with. The main advantage of dark roleplays is that kinks and fetishes are nearly limitless. The victim isn't likely to enjoy it, but that's kind of the point here. Anything under the category "May Roleplay" is up for grabs in a dark roleplay. These often revolve around essentially torturing my, your, or both of our characters. I can play as the villain and/or the victim in the scenario. The goal of these roleplays is often for the villain to break the victim in mind, body, and spirit, and seize full control over them by rebuilding them to their desires. The means used to achieve that goal is usually what varies from roleplay to roleplay. Often it involves physical force, threats, blackmail, or even psychological manipulation such as hypnosis, gaslighting, and mantras. At first, the victim will resist more disgusting or painful kinks. But after being broken, they'll be miserable, but also almost a completely different person, likely even seeming happier on the surface after accepting they can't have their old life back. The appeal of these scenarios to me is to test the limits of just how far a character is willing to go to protect or enforce their ideals. And just how far they're willing to compromise those same ideals to secure their own safety or selfish desires. I love to explore the darkness in an innocent character's heart as well. They'll discover truths about themselves they never would've admitted that will only add to their shame and guilt as they continue living the nightmare they're forced to endure. Villains in these dark roleplays have to be villains. They might not necessarily see themselves as villains, but the narrative and tone of the overall story should reflect that quality. Don't let that stifle your creativity on what that villain has to be, though. Maybe the "villain" is the general public trying to force my character to conform to a standard she doesn't want, or perhaps the "villain" and the "victim" can be one and the same, just perpetuating an endless cycle of abuse. There are many directions this sort of scenario can explore. Alternatively, the villain doesn't necessarily have to be one of our characters at all, we could both play as victims and share in our misery as some external force drives us both to do things with each other we don't want to do. ---------------- Wholesome Roleplays Wholesome roleplays tend to be a lot softer in tone and consequently, the amount of kinks and fetishes I'm willing to roleplay here are drastically limited compared to noncon scenarios. My character's individual preferences likely differ from my broad preferences. An important aspect of a wholesome interaction between two characters is the ability to discuss limits and boundaries. It's okay if things go too far every once in a while, but they should be followed with apologies afterward. I try to avoid being upfront with the things my characters do or don't enjoy because in this sort of scenario, exploring what works and doesn't is a big part of the action. Wholesome roleplays tend to be more open with the roles. Unlike dark roleplays where the roles are usually villain and victim, these scenarios tend to focus on partners who are facing an obstacle together. Perhaps it's a forbidden romance, or perhaps a victim of trauma learns to love and trust again through interactions with a healthy companion. The possibilities are limitless here, too, though in a different way than dark roleplays. I find it incredibly important to emphasize that certain things will never be present in a wholesome roleplay. Anything I said in my preface that I will not condone will not be present at all in a wholesome relationship between characters. Not everything in the scenario has to be wholesome, but the relationship between at least two characters certainly does. Under certain circumstances, things under "may roleplay" might be explorable in a wholesome roleplay, but for the most part, the only things that are likely are in the "will roleplay" section. Even then, it still depends on a case by case basis. ----------------- Hybrid Roleplays As alluded to before, I'm not at all opposed to switching styles of roleplay partway through. Quite frankly, I feel like the emotional impact of these styles of roleplay are amplified dramatically when you switch from one to the other. A wholesome scenario crashing down when lovers are torn apart, or a damsel in distress being rescued form a dark scenario and brought into a world they'd completely forgotten about. I really value these powerful moments and how they can cause overwhelming emotions to completely invert. It's really sweet to see a broken person slowly open up again and it's extremely horrifying to see a happy person panic and break when they lose everything. While these are incredibly important points to me, I strongly urge people playing with me not to rush them. The longer you allow these feelings to fester for our characters, the more it'll matter when they suddenly flip. It can also cause a longer struggle which means far more back and forth and a lot more interesting interactions. It all has to be handled very carefully and very well.
