    It wasn't often that Vonn was doing anything like this whatsoever. Perhaps she was too focused on her dreams and thus never noticed if others were interested.     "Really?!" That's so sweet, Collin. Thank you!" Vonn exclaimed, straddling his lap in her excitement. She hugged her friend, planting a kiss on his cheek before pulling away to look into his eyes. She thought he hadn't been listening, or worse, that he would say no. But obviously she was wrong on both accounts. This was a scary venture for her and it meant a lot to know that Collin would be helping her out. She knew that he had some talent with computers, something that surprised her a bit considering he used to be a jock and all. But she supposed no one was truly that cliche. Still, it was something that made Vonn take a second look at Collin. And over time she came to care for him. Enough to worry about if he was taking care of himself properly and....well, a little bit more than a friend would. But she figured she wasn't his type so there was no point in risking their friendship with something like that. "Hoestly, you don't know how much this means to me," Vonn added, settling in his lap. "If all goes well I may stay in business for myself finally. I have to do something to repay you. What would you like, Collin?"

    Chuckling, Vonn put her also too hot coffee mug on the table in front of her. "Oh so I suppose you're used to this. Very well then," she replied, reaching for an eclair. She straightened up and passed him a mug, returning to sit very close to her friend. After this morning's incident, she needed to feel safe and Collin was pretty good at that. "You look pretty tired actually," she noted, idly resting a hand on his bare chest, "Am I preventing you from getting your rest?" If she was, she would feel even worse about forcing him to listen to her problems and be her teddy bear.

Her body pressed against his as she forced herself to think happy thoughts. She was safe now. No longer would she have to fend off the advances from her employer. And while she was tempted to begin stressing about rent and other bills she drove those thoughts away. Kissing his cheek she said, "Thank you for this. I just needed someone to hear me out." The smell of coffee brought her back to her senses, and she eased off of Collin's lap. "The coffee's ready. How would you like yours made?"

    "A likely story....." Vonn replied, glad that Collin didn't protest her help. He may be a homebody, mildly depressed sort, but he was a man. That meant he had the pride and ego to go along with it. And especially given his disability, Vonn was careful not to make him feel like less of a man. It didn't take too long to reach her apartment, and Vonn kicked off her shoes immediately after stepping inside. "Why don't you settle down on the couch and I'll get started on the coffee?" She suggested, padding to her kitchen and doing just that. "I'm gonna change out of this dumb uniform first and I'll tell you all about it." Since her guest was in next to nothing, she didn't bother with real clothes. Instead she strolled out in a tight, black, tank top, braless, and some short baby blue shorts. "Anyway, I get to the bakery this morning and I'm prepping in the kitchen and you wanna know what my boss did?" Vonn fumed, plopping down rather close to Collin. "He grabbed my ass and tried to shove his tongue down my throat! I was....shocked, and angry and....scared..." She admitted, eyes wetting from the memory, "He's always been a perve but today he seemed much more intent.... I just quit and ran out as fast as I could."     She took a deep breath and said to her boss, "I quit!" Vonn shouted, ripping off her apron and throwing it on the counter. Her boss at the bakery had sexually harassed her for the last time and she had had enough. He needed her, not the other way around. She was the best pastry chef he had ever had. But there were only so many times Vonn could pretend not to notice that his hands were squeezing the wrong set of buns before she reached her limit. She was grateful to be back at the apartment when she spotted Collin limping away from the dumpster. She tsked, seeing he wasn't wearing his brace or using a cane. "Do you like being in pain?" She questioned as she caught up to him, her too short, hot pink, bakery uniform fluttering from the effort. Honestly she should have known her boss was a perve from jump. Why else who a pastry chef be required to wear a sexualized chef uniform in such a loud color? Pushing away those thoughts momentarily, Vonn folded her arms under her chest and shook her head, "I realize that you're too lazy to do much of anything, but I hate seeing that look on your face. "I've got some coffee and eclairs you can have, deal?"
