Huzzah! Pages and harder booze!

Another beer sounded like a fine idea! Nilaa also grabbed a can, and then two more for their new friends! Sharing was good, after all! Or at least she was taught as such. This was how people made friends, right? Nilaa followed along beside her good friend, tail growing more excited with each step! Maybe the four of them would do plenty of hard partying tonight! Parties were certainly a great way to meet new people! Of course the boy appeared to be a little shy, but then Nilaa figured that it was probably only going to be a temporary issue, after all Julia was excellent at making friends! As soon as they arrived in front of the two Nilaa settled one can atop her head, carefully balancing it while she extended the other two towards the zombie girl and the boy! "Hellooo! Nilaa is Nilaa! Want be friends?!"

Huzzah! She did well! It was a good start to the party thus far! Nilaa was always excited to learn more about what people normally did. Being normal was one of her goals. Well, sort of. She wanted to have friends and that meant she had to be more normal. At least, that is what she believed. Another saying. Sayings were a little annoying, but then she supposed that was part of being normal. She had to learn these things. They were going to have lots of fun. That was the gist of it. She could wrap her mind around that. Julia also said it was early for sex, but that it sometimes happened at parties. Did that mean she was going to have sex later?! That was an exciting prospect! Also the equivalent to 'Sex yes' meant 'Yes'. Now that was confusing! With her head slowly nodding and her tail returning to its wagging she reached over to scoop up another handful of snacks, shoving them into her mouth. Saying hello to others was a great idea! She could make even more friends! Of course when Julia suddenly shouted and waved towards someone Nilaa gulped down her mouthful of food and mimicked her, waving towards the boy and the girl he stood next to! She didn't know them yet, but it was polite to do this sort of thing! "We go see friend?!"

Well there were some words she had heard before, but had not used herself! They were called swear words if she was remembering correctly. But also they had other meanings. Like sex! She knew what that was now! Was that a part of partying? If the stuff she did before with Julia was a part of it then she was certainly happy with that! Of course the way the words were used didn't quite make sense to her, but she wasn't here for a lesson in words. She was here to party! "Do all party!" exclaimed the wolf, only to pause. Rocks? Did they need rocks? She looked around briefly, although upon notiicng none she returned her attention back to Julia. Just in time too as she was being introduced to another important lesson! A can of something was handed over to her. She sniffed a couple of times at the contents. Beer! She remembered this smell! Wait, focus! Okay, she had to lift her can and tap it against Julia's. Then she had to drink it! She could do that! With a smile and a nod she held her can up in both paws, each large enough to mostly cover the metallic container. Her tail stopped wagging for the moment as she very carefully she guided it forth, aiming to gently tap it against Julia's! "Cheeeeoooors!" yipped Nilaa, new to the word, before she brought the can to her lips and started to quickly drink the contents. It was pretty refreshing after all the snacks she'd just enjoyed! She was thirsty too, and so the entire thing was downed in one long sip! Thankfully one beer wasn't enough to get her tipsy. She was pretty tough! After setting the empty can down she returned her gaze to Julia. "Nilaa do good?! Where get rocks? What else do party? Seex in party?!" she began to ask, pausing for a moment to mull over the next word. "Fooook yes?"

More partiers for the party?!

"Yes yes! Dance! Do lots stuff!" Nilaa bounced excitedly in place, hips wiggling with glee as they were guided by the wagging of her tail. Just talking about it was already hyping her up! When she was motioned towards the tables Nilaa snatched up Julia's hand and led her right over, eager to get the festivities started. Of course she wasn't very good at picking out which booze options were the best, so she figured she'd leave that task to the Manticore. Snacks were another story. Nilaa sniffed at each, picking up a few to taste test. One after another they were shoved into her maw as she sought to sate her hunger! However she did hold herself back for the time being and did leave plenty for others. She could be good!

As she was settled upon the ground Nilaa stretches her arms out overhead, tail continuing to wag while the Manticore's hand patted atop her head. Who better to teach her how to party than Julia? The first time they met ended in what Nilaa would consider a party. Today everything was set up perfectly for it. As far as Nilaa knew parties generally included more than two people, and if she was correct then more people meant a better party! It was perfect really. The little wolf's gaze followed Julia's. They already had drinks out, even some little snacks! Had those just been brought out? As long as it was in here it was fair game, right? Nobody had told her not to start eating in here! "Drink good! Food good! Nilaa not dance. Want dance. Want party lots! Have lots of fun! Nilaa not know how party. Nilaa want learn!" Was it learn? Or do? Language was tricky. It probably worked here, right? Either way Julia probably understood: Nilaa wanted to let loose and party hard!

It was good to find her friend in fine spirits! How long had it been since they'd seen each other? Too long in her opinion. Nilaa did miss hanging out with her. They had enjoyed delicious foods and drink and a very lovely night together before, so perhaps tonight would be no different? Well, okay, there would be plenty of other people around too, but then that could mean even more fun! What if they invited others to join them in their revelry? "Music! Dance! Booze! Food! Nilaa excited! Was getting lonely. See other lonely ones. We have fun! Lot's of fun!" Her tail had started to wag even harder at the idea. She briefly glanced towards the large bullish man before returning her gaze towards her Manticore friend. Perhaps tonight she'd learn more fun activities! Maybe she'd even learn a little more dancing! Actually that seemed more certain at this point.

More people were starting to arrive at this point. First there was a very large man! He smelled really nice. Probably because he was a bull. Bulls meant big juicy steaks! Or were those cows? It might have been both. The thought of it made her a little hungrier still. But she also knew she wasn't supposed to eat people. Clearly he was people. In fact she did remember seeing him around on occasion. Usually he was busy cleaning things or fixing things. Right now he didn't seem too happy. Maybe she could change that? It was nice to make other people happy! After all sometimes they rewarded her with food! Before she could move on those thoughts someone familiar entered her sphere of detection. Already her tail started to wag as she turned to face her friend. It was Julia! She was also naked, as was typical for the both of them. If Nilaa did experience shame then it probably would have helped, but it wasn't something she really needed to worry about. As the woman neared her and opened her arms Nilaa leapt from the chair she was seated upon, launching herself into the woman's chest to deliver a friendly hug of her own! "Hi Julia!" exclaimed the little wolf, perhaps mufffled slightly by her friend's squishy chest. After a few moments of intense nuzzling she lifted her gaze free from the soft fleshy pillows, finally meeting Julia's with a toothy grin. "Nilaa is good! Julia is good?"

Yay there we go! Now Nilaa is chilling there.

It had been months since Nilaa's arrival at the school. Classes had been going fairly well. She had learned quite a few words! In fact she could generally speak like a normal person by this point! There were of course things which she didn't quite grasp, but those were just new experiences waiting to happen. Of course there were a few things that had yet to change. Nilaa still walked around naked. She understood a little better why some people wore clothes, but they were always so uncomfortable to her. Besides, she was generally unbothered by the climate and certainly not bothered by people's lingering gazes. On more than one occasion it had been enough to lure people in, and on many of those occasions she had managed to secure both free food and lovely headpats! She really was trickier than she gave off! Well, sometimes anyways. Then there was the matter of her hunger. It was a curse which she had yet to beat, and one which she doubted she ever would beat. But it really didn't bother her as much as it bothered other people. Of course by its very nature this meant that she was occasionally restricted. Generally teachers tried to hold off her lunch a little later so that the other students had plenty to eat. Today she had likewise been barred from entering the Dining Hall until later. At the very least she had to wait for the festivities to begin! So the little wolf sat alone within the Assembly Hall, seated on her knees upon a chair at one of the tables. Her gaze was locked in the direction of the Dining Hall. Even from here she could smell the food being prepared. She had eaten a few meals earlier in the day, a clever tactic deployed by one of the teachers in order to hold off her seemingly endless hunger long enough for the food to at least be prepared and set out for the other students. But the more she focused on the delicious meals the hungrier she grew. No, what she really needed to do now was distract herself. A brief scan of the room allowed her to pick out a few students. More people she had yet to meet. They generally stuck together in pairs. That made sense though: this place was supposed to be for dancing! Dancing usually meant two people. Perhaps she would find someone to spend her time with tonight! But she was also used to being alone too.

I'll throw Nilaa into Assembly Hall for now. Probably would be a good idea to kick her out of Dining Hall before the party starts.

Julia certainly is fun! Though it might be good for Nilaa to branch out and meet new people too. Though food would also be more important to her than dancing. But then dancing can be fun too!

Hmm. Where to throw Nilaa? Either Dining Hall or Assembly Hall.

Hopefully tomorrow I'll feel better! But we'll see.

Location: North-east of Kalath, en-route to Enutpen’s Glory Once more Luna had succumbed to her thoughts. So many ideas swirled around within that head of hers'! Just as many questions as well! But they were often focused around little things. How to make a certain potion last longer, or become more potent, or what ingredients might be used as a substitute. Spells also were refined within her mind. Occasionally she'd lift her hands, moving them around to practice a few of the somantic components of certain spells. Hours passed without her noticing. It really was good that she traveled with others, after all if she had been on her own then she would have been quite easy to ambush! Often this is how it went in such situations: she would simply be too preoccupied to notice even the most novice of bandit setups! But she was confident in her ability to handle most engagements when it came down to it, especially if she got a chance at doing so in a non-combative manner. Those were always the best endings. "Huh?" Rayvenne's words finally stirred her from her thoughts. It was at that moment that she noticed how much time had passed, prompting her to pop open a flask for a sip of water. "Oh! I hadn't even noticed the time! I don't mind taking a break. It might be good for Lucky! And for Raeghan. Right?" With a smile she extended the flask, offering to toss it over should the woman be thirsty. Truth be told she wasn't too hungry, but having one's self topped off was always good! After all one never knew when something might cause them to run out of food. That was never a fun situation to be in.

No problem! I've been quite busy lately as well. And ill. Not fun.
