Wanna know why? Because people are tired of politics. It is being shoved down everyone's throats in every single piece of media. Politics and agendas are everywhere, in everything we "consume". Perhaps it's a good idea for some places to be isolated from this? Maybe ED could be it? A place where people can take a breath of air without politics being shoved down the throat?

As much as "freedom of speech" is fun and all... My opinion is this: "There's a time and a place". ED is about lewds and having fun. Politics is not lewd... and definitely far from fun either. Mostly because everyone has their own political views and discussions never stay civil. ED is not the place for politics. Simple as that. Especially not in our time, when politics surrounds us literally in every piece of other media - websites, tv, movies, tv-shows, games, books, music... Let ED be a safe heaven from it? But that's just my opinion, that's all.

How about this... What if I tell you that its in fact a sci-fi picture? Or rather... A lil weird sci-fi themed idea came to my mind! Long green fingers were flipping through pages of a primitive paper book while the universal translator device scanned the printed writings on them. Researcher Katarau of the Oktanti Xeno-Exploration Institute spent several hours on scanning and cataloguing books that her crew found in that ruined building that seemingly served as a book storage. Or possibly a library? Nah, too disorganized... Unless “they” had different sorting and storage methods than the Oktanti, which is possible. According to the dates at the first page, this one was printed around the last century before the Extinction. A catastrophic planet-wide nuclear self-annihilation of a whole species who called themselves Homo Sapiens, Humans of Planet Earth. What happened? Oh, that is already known for sure from other sources. Males of this species rebelled, started an uprising to overthrow the dominating rulers - females of this species. Many last writings of these “rebels” were found in shape of unsent dead-man’s letters, manifestos and simply notes to each other. They claimed to be sick and tired of being pushed around, controlled and humiliated for being... Well, men. All their writings share the same idea - “the dark ages of misandry should come to an end”. Looks like that didn’t end well for anybody, considering how most of the planet is now a radioactive wasteland. And not a single Human around to tell the tale about it. Katarau stopped the book scanning process all of a sudden as her big red eyes saw that one of the pages did not have text in it, but a picture instead. This pulled the researcher out of her deep thinking and got her curious. With the help of her friendly AI and the ever-expanding database (she’s not the only researcher who does this!), Katarau managed to actually learn a bit more about the book she held in her hands. One of many examples of “rewritten fiction” - plenty of those from around the same years this book was published. This one in particular... Book of fairytales. A “new age” version of a human classic... “The sleeping beauty”. A reversed and highly altered version of the original. It’s the man who is locked in a magical eternal sleep. And it’s a strong, heroic woman who comes and saves him from it. Only to “adopt” him i to her harem of men, one among many under her heel and on a leash. And it’s not the only piece of fiction that was entirely flipped around during those years... Good thing the Oktanti researchers managed to find a barely intact primitive data storage with some human male’s work of comparing and preserving the originals - like if he predicted such devastating events and hoped for someone to actually learn the truth behind the disaster. Not to repeat the same mistakes. Not to give any one gender too much power over the other to a point of slavery, humiliation and abuse. I surely hope that it wont come to this in our real world, even though... there is a certain super-strong feministic trend in the last few years...

You know... The type of artworks that are often weird, sometimes trippy, usually quite silly, but... always colorful, "warm" and make my imagination go wild. Plus they bring memories and nostalgia about the action movies in the 90s. Like Judge Dredd, Demolition Man, Alien and many others like that. Those were the days when people knew how to just have fun in the movies, you know? And not only. Lots of sci-fi books that I've read too, mostly by Russian writers. And the old stuff, not what they are writing now, full of politics and other nonsense - same as any media content (movies, tv-shows, games, books) from the "West" as well. Anyway... The reason why I joined this club was rather dumb... I kinda realized that at this point, I'm having much more fun coming up with ideas (characters, worlds, scenes, stories, etc) than actually playing them. So... I'm thinking this: This is a Human kingdom who see themselves as "superior" to other races. Superior cities, superior level of life for every citizen, superior technology levels and as a result - superior weaponry and armor. No shorty gnomes, no barbaric orcs, not even the "softie, magic-loving" elves are a match for Humans, with a capital "H". This superiority is at the core of every Human in the kingdom that spans across most of the continent now, thanks to their successful militaristic expansion over the last few years. Minor tribal species eradicated, larger barbarians forced to submit... Even races that had at least some power on their hands could not stand a chance in the end. The latest victory was over the elven kind. After the majority of their lands was taken over, the Human forces surrounded the capital and forced the knife-eared king to submit. As an attempt to soften the pain of surrender and somehow sweeten the deal of having to live under "new management" from the Humans, the elven king offered one of his daughters (the one you see on the picture - she clearly has long ears) as a wife to the Human Prince. So naturally, she was brought to the capital and led through the main plaza in front of the royal palace, along with many other spoils of war - chests full of gold, some elven pieces of art, elven magical artifacts, etc. To put up a show in front of the loyal Human citizens - another victory, another submitted lesser species. The crowd isn't yet aware that this beautiful elven woman (despite their "inferiority" to Humans, elven women are still considered beautiful) will become the future wife of the Prince - it's not like this are modern days, with internet and everyone knowing everything instantly, yes? In their ecstatic state because of yet another victory, they start throwing rotten tomatoes and other things at a "foe" who was just forced into submission. Perhaps some think she's a representative or diplomat who is here to negotiate or something, so they show her what Humans think of them "long-eared freaks". But the royal guard is quite aware of the future fate of this elven woman, so naturally he has to protect her from the crowd. But hey, it's his job, you know? He may not like it, he might as well had been slaughtering many elf warriors just days ago and has no respect for his "enemy"... But he now protects this elf woman from the wrath of the crowd. Because it's his head that'll go off the shoulders if anything happens to her before she's delivered in front of the King and the Prince. I... think I went a little bit too far in some places, but meh. It is what it is.
