Yuri is girl love, not vagina love. Whether a futa has visible balls or a visible vagina, rarely matters in Fu/F encounters where the futa is a Domme/top. Because in those situations the futa’s cock is almost always involved in the action. And this is 100% of my experience with them. I mean, it's possible. I don't know the context of those media, though. By tagging accuracy mechanics alone, I know yuri are not the same as futa since they are two different genres. For a long time, I was myself a yuri purist and didn't want to include futa because I was uncomfortable with it. My own futa are intended for futa/female purposes as female. Let's say someone wants a M/F relationship though, you wouldn't try to use a futa instead of a female since at the end of the day, there is a clear difference between them.

I see lots of futa-on-female stories, comics, and pics tagged with yuri too. Maybe that varies by the site though.

If we want to follow the tags of what yuri has been for a long time, it's F/F and nothing else. I mean, even my futa are yuri only in the sense of female character on female but it's still important to denote the "futa" part to the character since it's not properly speaking a 100% female. In any image you'll see a futa, it won't be tagged as yuri but as "Futa_on_female" for a good reason. People who search for yuri will want yuri. As TC said, it's a very close one and I tend to use futa as a spicy female myself myself but if we go by the strict definition, it does not count. Even if you close your eyes and pretend. What people want here is the objective definition of yuri. Yuri doujins =/= futa.

@WritesNaughtyStories is a smarty and I agrees with him on a lot of this. Yes, the definition of yuri is girl love, but it definitely more nuanced than that. It’s not the same as lesbianism. The corner clapped to signal the end of a round and the pair stopped. "Good." Nuehowlek said. "At last, some real work." He started unbuckling his pads and glared at Lookmee. "I want that all day tomorrow." He jerked a thumb behind him, "For now, go get cleaned up, you've got your beginner class to teach in 15 minutes. Afterwards, don't forget the videos I sent you - I want you to be ready for Priya, ok?" Lookmee nodded, bowed politely to her trainer, thanked the corner trainer and headed to the locker room to take a quick shower before teaching for an hour. OK. I can work with that. I'd kind of had it in mind that my character (for now we'll call her Lookme) was a competitive fighter, but they can both be relatively new students (though, due to site rule changes both must be 18).

They both are students. MC is actually taken care of and protected by YC, as MC is weak and can be bullied by others

I like it. Does your character end up (start) as my character's student? Or do they make eyes at each other across the gym first?

Other woman (MC) is a new trainee at gym. She is actually shy and weak sent by her father to get some confidence and strength.

This is an idea I've been trying to find a home for for a year or more. Perhaps this is the community to adopt it. It's simple, I follow combat sports, including women's Muay Thai - kickboxing with elbows and knees allowed, should anyone not know and/or care to know - and have long thought the story of a fighter trying to reconcile her violent career and romantic life would make a good story. I don't have any particulars beyond that. Boxing, Muay Thai, wrestling, I guess - though the scripted nature there removes some of the pressures of truly competitive sport (although the amount of work and multiple bouts a week is an entirely different set of pressures).
