So, a while back I rambled on a bit about my pile of CCG cards. Now its time for another collection, more oriented for this site. I've basically been roleplaying my entire adult life. But that roleplaying is of the shared story sort. I was plotting a roleplay with a friend when the archetype of the Bored Housewife came up. Given the light-hearted nature of the story and setting I hadn't put the thorough thought into it I normally might a character, but when she mentioned her discomfort and difficulty getting into the mindset of someone that would cheat, well, it got me contemplating the nature of such roleplays and a conversation ensued. Being the age that I am, I have experienced quite a huge and drastic shift in media during 80's to now 2020. Back then, there was practically no digital media beyond stuff you installed on your PC (with only DOS on it) and even then you had a very small selection of stuff to play and hard disc drive space to install it on. Furthermore, there was no plug & play either and each game you had to manually set up every detail about sound- and graphics card. Travel is something that has been on my mind a lot as of late... probably because I'm going on a flight for a holiday next month. xD But in the midst of thinking about my holiday, I've also thought of travel in general, and all of the different places in the world that I would love to one day visit.
