A Character Question

I was aiming for someone who had nothing left where he came from, left his parents abuse and been screwed over a lot. The most he has were money he saved up and just a few belongings, but the question for him is this; can my character by chance be an employee for the place? Or is it merely a visit and stay type ordeal?

Your character is welcome to stay on the island for as long as you like. And yes you may become staff. But as Buio pointed out I would rather continue this conversation in the topic he provided in the link above, if you really do want to become staff.

Is the islands magic strong enough to change someone's gender? I was basically wanting to make a character who had always wished he was female, and got to the point of committing suicide by throwing himself off a cliff to only wake up on the beach of the island as a woman.

@Quinzou Ooo that's a good question! And very interesting character concept. I would say yes. Since it's such a deep desire for your character I would say the magic of the island pulls very strongly to them in order to make it possible. Thank you for asking.
