I've heard that it's good (especially the sequel season), but I'm not much for sports anime to begin with, so I never got around to watching it.

It's like the least sport anime ever, it feels more like a shonen to me

I don't doubt that, though most sports anime are actually also shonen, revolving around themes like overcoming the odds, growing more skilled/powerful, and often friendship/comradery

Honestly thought it was phenomenal. Not really too underground or anything, just not a top 10 shonen or anything. Honestly has such an engaging story, and the ost is killer. Short too so it’s good for a binge. Check it out if you haven’t seen it
