Adding space between paragraphs

I'm trying my wings at doing a new roleplaying club and the first problem I encountered is that I don't know how to add space between paragraphs in Overwiew section. I tried [hr] and <br> but no luck. It looks quite awful when 3 paragraphs are just one pile of text.

Anyone know how to add space/enter between the paragraphs?

Wouldn't it just be the enter key, or the "enter" key for mobile?

• [hr] is a BBCode thing which isn't used by modern forum software suites anymore, at least not with IPS (The forum software we use) since 2010? Give or take.
• <br> is a HTML code thing which we don't allow for obvious reasons.

I was able to make
a new line by using
SHIFT - RETURN
/ Otherwise Known As /
SHIFT - ENTER
On the Keyboard.

I was able to do this by pressing RETURN / Otherwise Known As / ENTER on the keyboard. I am also on Desktop right now as well. You also did it in this very post. Can you show me exactly what you're trying to do?

 Ah I see. Your about me block is unformatted text, what you want is to go to "Manage Club" and tap on "Home Page" Make a custom homepage for the club and you'll be able to format it using the standard editor. 

The About is a small summery that appears where the club is linked if that makes sense. The homepage is what you're certainly looking for. You'll be able to add your own images, make font whatever color you want and pick from sizes.

This is how I would want it to look:

Far away from everything there is a beautiful tropical island that has a dark purpose. It’s known as Avonmore Island Prison owned by Falkcrest Corporation. One night all staff leave the island and a new shift never arrives. The electricity goes down on the same night, leaving all doors unlocked.

This is a sandbox roleplay with some GM guidance, meaning mostly me telling what you might find on the island. The game world is an alternative version of our world, with about the same technological level, bit of magic and fantasy races in addition to the humans. The twist of this game is that character sheets won’t be fully open to other players. The information shown to players may be false (if your character has lied to others) or there might be no information if a char decides to keep quiet.  

 

Sexual and darker themes are allowed. What happens depends largely on what your characters do. GM guide posts will be non-sexual, but players are free to do sexual and even violent scenes with other consenting players. 

 

Disclaimer: GM isn’t native english speaker, so this is the kind of english you are going to get.
