Tittlemint: A widespread plant sporting thin, teardrop shaped leaves with toothed edges, similarly to spearmint. However, its sharp and spicy flavor is more akin to peppermint with just a hint of thyme. It possesses strong aphrodisiac qualities when consumed by humans and similar races, though this doesn’t seem to be the case with animals. They’re commonly used as a garnish in taverns, but they’re even utilized in weddings or royal banquets. The effects vary slightly from person to person, but common ones include:

  • Heightened senses of smell, taste, and touch
  • Heightened libido and sensitivity
  • Relaxed muscles
  • Increased production of sexual fluids

On rare occasions, however, effects can include:

  • Mildly heightened suggestibility and confusion
  • Prolonged orgasms

Fortunately, their distinct aroma is extremely difficult to hide. As such, unintentional administration and unplanned consumption are both borderline impossible.

I kind of refurbished this from something I did a couple years back. If that’s an issue and I need to write something from scratch, though, that’s absolutely fine.

(I swear procrastinating and writing these on the last possible day is just becoming tradition at this point.)

Nearly a week had passed since Issac had finished moving.  In all of that time, only one thing had been on his mind, and it was the mysterious book he had obtained from the garage sale.  Even at that time, as he sat down in a chair, he had the strange book sitting in his lap.  The book's covers were dark gray with an agonized face on the front cover.  The book itself was a bit smaller than a textbook, just small enough to allow someone to carry the book with one hand.  Even with the book's size, Issac didn't know exactly how many pages it contained.

"It's a strange thing, though," Issac muttered to himself.  Despite it's size and number of pages, the book itself was strangely light.  As he slowly opened up the book to a random page, he raised an eyebrow.  When he had initially opened up the book to read it's contents, he found each page had been written in a strange script he had never seen.  Now such script was nowhere to be found, having been replaced with clear English.  The man ran his hand across the thin paper of the book's page, reading the words written on the page in his head.

"Reviving the dead...?" he said out loud.  The page read out clear as day an outline of restoring the bodies of the dead.  The man shook his head in disbelief, closing the tome and standing up.  "Impossible.  Those kind of things don't exist," Issac said.

What he didn't realize at the time was that piece of knowledge would drag Star City into the jaws of disaster, all in the pursuit of reviving the dead.
