Sexual Characteristics: Circumcised, somewhat above-average length and girth, keeps self trimmed and shaved Health Conditions: Perfect health for a young man his age Extra: Nothing of note Origin Story: Terry grew up in the Willits Neighborhood, named after the now closed down Willits Textiles factory that had once kept the corner of Arikara Falls bustling and well off. However, by time he was born it was already shuttered, and the small block of housing and shops started to turn into a ghetto. Terry learned quickly that if he wanted to survive at the parks and schoolyard he needed to be tough, and by being tough he certainly earned respect, but not necessarily friends. With a neglectful mother that seemed more interested in spending her days smoking her life away, bringing fellows from the bar home to screw on her busted mattress with the bedroom door wide open, and occasionally sending him off to buy her a pack of cigarettes and tampons, he started to get involved in petty theft and crime with some of the other local boys around twelve years old. It was only because of Duke Buster, a retired officer and detective that used to work closely with supers back in Nahan Springs. Instead of calling the authorities, Duke Buster offered him a job. Initially, Terry didn't accept, but somehow Duke always knew where he'd be and stopped him before committing another theft or crime. It was thanks to Duke Buster that Terry not only got involved in working an honest job helping out at the Wicker Street Boys Community Center, but he got a proper father figure and role model to teach him how to properly fight and how to use his strength. Through this self-sufficiency, not only was Terry able to start cleaning his apartment up, making repairs, and paying bills, he began to offer to help others in the building as well. By time his mother had walked out on him, he had not only returned to school, but had been developing a reputation as a neighborhood handyman. On the day of his graduation from high school, with Duke Buster proud to see him earn his diploma, he had gone out celebrating with some friends and classmates when approached by a group of gang bangers. Trying to intimidate them and rob them, Terry tried to talk them down. When one of them pulled out a gun Terry instinctively thrust his hand forward, a bolt of lightning bursting from his fingertips and causing the gun to burst, shrapnel shredding the hand of the gunman. The gang bangers fled as trails of electric current surrounded Terry, his friends backing away. He tried to subdue it, but not without blowing out a few transformers and street lights first. Because no one really cared about Willits Neighborhood, the incident did not make the news. Which was just as well, because Terry not only wanted time to train and focus these abilities, he also wanted to keep himself a relative unknown. Helping the neighborhood was one thing, and he'd gladly do that. He wanted to be the role model to the kids growing up there that Duke Buster was for him. But the last thing he needed was to draw the eye of organizations like R.E.D.I. or G.H.A.R.D., or even worse, get on the radar of the more threatening organizations up the ladder of Arikara Falls. So, honing his abilities, Terry began to protect the neighborhood, slowly tackling the gang elements to clean it up. Personality: Hot-tempered and anti-authoritarian. No trust for any sort of establishment and believes in the power of community. Bonds easily with other men but has little trust of women. This is particularly a problem because he still has a typical psychological desire for female love and affection that he didn't get from his mother, coupled with a lack of desire to be like his father. So he has a number of one night stands, but has no healthy relationship with any woman. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Power Identity Profile: Costumes Alias: Blitz Fist Costume Description: Not having the money for a proper costume, he wears a leather jacket with a shirt and jeans, easily identifiable in the neighborhood. Despite trying to keep a low profile, he lacks a mask, finding any he's attempted to make on his own to block too much of his vision. This is one of the reasons he tries to keep a low profile and avoid getting too much attention outside of the neighborhood. Secret Identity?: Complicated Alignment: Valor No Kill Code?: Yes. He has learned to control his powers enough does not kill. He has not been put in a position where this code has been tested. Registration Status: Unregistered, wants to keep it that way Power Rank: Street Hero Fame: Neighborhood Team: None, though could be open depending on the group/team. Other Affiliations: Some local cops of the neighborhood that can be trusted Costumed History: ► Drug Lab Ignited By Freak Thunderbolt: The first proper act of heroism by Blitz Fist, age 19. After investigating a local drug lab located in Willits, he chose a severe thunderstorm to strike, throwing a few bolts of lightning to ignite the lab in the abandoned storefront. ► The Downfall of the Willits Shotgunner: By time he was 21 Terry had actually managed to help clear the neighborhood up of the gang element, little by little. However, this opened a vacuum for a violent, repressed, angry man to start wandering into the neighborhood, wielding his shotgun on young men of color, shouting vile obscenities and making racist claims. Despite several 911 calls, the police rarely ever arrived in the neighborhood, and when they did, it was far too late. Terry, unable to find a way to disguise his powers, simply took the man out and tied him up for the police. While the neighborhood claimed it was a group effort to take him down, no one could explain the scorch marks upon the killer's clothes or abdomen. Theme Song: Fury by Machinae Supremacy ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ability Profile: Type: Supernatural Powers: Has the ability to conjure electricity and lightning from his fingertips. It does not seem to have any impact on his own physique, but control of the lightning is imprecise. As such, he has focused on practicing the power of the electric bolts first, before working on accuracy. He is able to stun and knock opponents unconscious, keeping conflict swift. He can also use light shocks to help kickstart one's heart. He has yet to need to go all out, so has no idea the extent of his abilities. Skills: While not an electrical engineer by any means, he has been able to implement his powers into some of his handyman tasks, including jumpstarting cars. Weaknesses: As mentioned above, he has little control over the bolts of lightning and their destination. Big, broad targets are better, or being mid-to-close-range. However, he cannot "snipe", and he has no idea how strong his powers can truly be. He has limited defensive capabilities, so he himself is vulnerable and relies on the element of surprise. He is, after all, only human.
