  3. Not guilty, but the way things are going, who knows? self-employed... unemployed... anything is possible the way things are going. The next person has had something valuable (financially or sentimentally) stolen from them.
  4. Use that experience, haha Honestly, I'm not sure how much that dynamic will end up factoring it, but it's nice to know it's there. Our MC might be able to pull some cool conflict out with it.
  5. Retirement? Does that count? Guilty, I guess. Next poster is self employed.
  6. Makes Dylan a townie as well, but without ties to the typical shared experience with townies going to school next to the college and the fraught relationship with the students and college (where half their parents work). Does it show I was a townie?
  7. Not guilty. Just the one job. The next person has a career goal.
  8. Now that you mention it, Robin might make sense as a townie (despite being 'new in town'). She's there with her mom, running from their old life, but this was not the plan... college is on hold if it was ever on the table.
  9. A townie, I'm guessing?
  10. Not Guilty, I have no idea what that is, but judging by the name, I assume Spanish? After looking it up, seems I am right. I am not one for soup. Next poster has multiple jobs.
  11. I think the themes of the game are interesting and many of them do overlap. Many people lose their virginity or have to figure out who they are and how they relate to their peers in college. The hormones are not at their peak, but still very much there, as can be the feeling of isolation. I think it can work. And no one can stop you from taking inspiration from high school drama and contextualizing it in a college town setting. *Bonus points for the drama between 'townie' and 'student'.
  12. I think the easiest thing to do is move it to the summer after graduation which changes some chronology, but doesn't really impact themes or restrict the things we want to explore. This story seems to be about who and what people are.
  13. I can't find anything about how to handle this in the rules :P . I don't care as much about the ages of the characters as much as the themes we're exploring. And I'm not how this would change that. Though I'm willing to try bumping given the drive of this group.
  14. Hey all, im looking to do an anime rp. I know a lot of fandoms like bleach, mha, dbz, one piece, jjk, naruto, demon slayer, aot etc. I'd love to play a character or scenario that youve always wanted to do, i can play anything you want :)
  15. Truth be told I'm already looking into alternative sites. The decision has kind of nuked one of the other roleplays that I was enjoying and it is going to kind of limit out what sort of stories can be told here. Kind of sad that people's abuse of AI led to this. Though I suppose this one might be fine bumping to graduated from high school and it would only be a little awkward. The other one just didn't make sense any more.
  16. I think you're right. It might take a ruling from the powers that be, but there's nothing explicit here and I think we could keep it that way and stay within the ToS. Might be a good plan to run it back and make everyone a freshly graduated high school senior, trapped in the summer before college.
  17. Don't know if anyone else has seen the comment update in Novaer's thread (linked at bottom), but it looks like the word from on high has come down and content involving minors will be banned once the ToS is updated, and enforcement is going to start shortly thereafter (they mention as early as the end of the month). It seems our high school monster romp is going to get caught in this (minor being broadly age<18). And I guess I just want to get the conversation going on what's to be done. It'll probably take a minute to digest, and obviously we have a minute to figure it out. My first thought is doing a setting shift from High
  18. Hi!~ I know it says f4m, but if youre open for a futa instead, I would throw my hat in the ring. I do like the plot a lot, it reminds me of some of the DnD campaigns Im watching on youtube and character wise I would love to play the doctor or more of a magical healer, whatever you prefer. If I am charismatic and therefore can play a charismatic character I have no clue, but I would try my damndest :). What I know I can do though is get into trouble.
  19. Well, I'm a guy so I can't definitively say for certain why this is, but I have made observations and sometimes got answers to questions so that I feel that I can at least spark discussion. 1. Women don't have the same perspective about how their boobs move during sex. Unless they're watching porn or engaging in voyeurism, they can only feel the movement or sometimes see them moving into and out of their field of vision. There's much that they can infer, but that's not the same as surety. 2. Boob movement during sex is often assumed in writing. Long hair gets into peoples' mouths, knees can be bruised, feet are shifted into differen
  20. @DriftingAsh May we assume Ari's presence even if you're not around to play her to fulfill reasonable service requests such as food or drink orders at the bar? Also, is her presence ubiquitous? That is, could there be a circumstance where a character walks into the bar, sees it empty, and goes around to pour their own drink, or maybe even act as an ad hoc bartender?
  21. //Yes, I'll take the compel for a fate point.// As the kaiju began to peel away, driving for the outpost, Emily let out a feral scream. Through the neurofluid linking them Scylla felt her intention, the urgency and shape of the thought crashing over the BioFrame like a wave as Emily's body seized inside of her, tensed as if she were bodily throwing herself at the kaiju while wrapped in Scylla's net of dark tentacles. Scylla's tentacles fell around her like oars sweeping her eight-meter body across the ground, and propelling herself up, the white-steel-coated BioFrame grabbed the kaiju's flank, pulling herself along the circumferenc
  22. Steak. She knew of that word. Rare? Would she get to try rare creatures? What did medium rare even mean? Was that not average? Or perhaps above average? Whatever the case, steak was a good choice. Her tail started to wag even harder, and the very thought caused her to salivate enough that she had to lick her lips in order to contain it! Potato. Miu also knew what a potato was. They were good, if she was remembering correctly. Beans were fine. Water was important. Milk could be good too! But it was so rare to have that. Would they really have it here? More importantly, did they know how to serve it properly? How did one serve it
  23. Ordering was a no-brainer: beef steaks, rare and medium rare. He'd let her choose which she wanted, if either. Also mashed potatoes and green beans, just to see if she was omnivorous, and water, milk, a pale straw lager, and a glass of wine. Then, feeling stupid, also a plate of whatever her people preferred if Ari knew that. While they waited, he looked at her. He had a million questions for her, and wished she could answer them. She was obviously bright and a very fast learner, but he didn't know what and how to teach her. Several times he caught himself wanting to reach out and touch her, to stroke her cheek just to see if her skin wa
  24. Thirsty. A nod of her head was her immediate answer. It was good to consume water when possible, and this would also give her a clue as to where to go when she needed more! This place did seem right. There were bottles of liquid behind the short wall. Some probably contained water. She also smelled something much stronger. It felt familiar, in a way, or at least like something she had encountered in the past. She could not remember whether or not it had been a good experience. Hungry! Once again she nodded, only this time with a little more enthusiasm! She was fairly hungry. The delicious food she'd been granted earlier had rem
  25. He felt badly for her as she made what looked like an attempt to speak but failed. His instincts were to pat her on the knee or give her a hug, but then she adjusted her seat to match his posture. This seemed to make her happy. Her smile and wagging tail made him happy in a way he hadn't felt for many years. Okay, next steps. Why was she here, now? Think it through. This was the public room with people in it at this time, but it was also the room where you could be served ... Ayers looked at her, and asked, "thirsty?" As he did, he pantomimed raising a glass to his lips. After a moment, he tried again with, "hungry?" whilst rubbing his b
