The idea for this one could get a little complex, but I'll try to keep it relatively basic. Our characters are transferred to another world, with the promise that they will be able to return to their regular lives, so long as they are capable of completing the dungeon set out before them. Some sort of twisted deity must have felt like tasking a few individuals with an interesting challenge. One that might not threaten their lives, but definitely a bit more difficult than the average escape room. Now, this dungeon could have pretty much anything behind each and every door, so that's where our discussion will come into play! We'll agree on a few ideas here and there, and then throw our characters into whatever it may be. Could be a room full of aphrodisiacs, or perhaps a maze that features a naughty punishment to those that stumble upon a dead end. Whatever the case, let's come up with them together. Well, here's your warning. Probably going to mention (or add) details that take place much later on in the series. That said, I'm sure we're familiar with the fact that there are Magic Knight Captains, who happen to lead the nine different Magic Knight squads. Now, what if there was a tenth squad, eh? A little secret batch of members that could contain any sort of people. They could be too dangerous to put on the front lines, or perhaps they're even lower than the Black Bulls. Nevertheless, it's a team that hasn't been seen or heard of by anyone - with a few exceptions, of course. This squad is more than likely only pulled to the front line for some serious threats. Or, perhaps they make the decision of whether they come to the surface or not. Metaphorically. I'm sure they aren't living underground, probably. The idea is a little loose, yes, but that makes the discussion between us perfect! We can bounce a few suggestions off of each other, and just go from there. If you haven't finished the series, I do strongly suggest doing so. Assuming that you have, though, then you might just be interested in my first idea, which involves exploring what certain characters might be doing after that incredibly painful cliffhanger. For example, I'm sure an actual war would break out between whatever is left of Piltover, and Zaun. That would be something interesting to write. Or, if you're like me, and you enjoy writing some romance, then we could always focus on the blooming relationship between Vi and Caitlyn. My second idea has the potential to be a bit more chaotic, but also happens to be my current desire. Minor changes might make for a much bigger difference - better or worse. This might involve the addition of our own Original Characters into the mess of things, which might be on a whole other tier of its own, but would more than likely be the main reason behind these little alternate paths. Slowly but surely, a 'virus' is spreading throughout the human race; in the form of an interesting symbol that appears just above their nether regions. Those that receive these mysterious tattoos have experienced strangely high levels of hormonal activity, while others are flat-out asking strangers to help them with an itch they cannot scratch on their own. While an official 'cure' hasn't been confirmed, plenty of married couples have been able to temporarily rid themselves of this symbol through the sweet release of sexual intercourse. People began to theorize that these tattoos probably shouldn't be referred to as a 'virus', but instead a blessing, for being able to help them locate their true significant other. Again, I do plan for most of the pairings in this idea to be Female x Female, but I'm sure this would also work with Male x Female pairings. Could be a short or long term story focused around two cosplayers, whose coincidental meeting at a con changes their lives for the better. Perhaps they're roped into a photoshoot together because they happen to be cosplaying characters from the same fandom, or maybe they happen to be cosplaying a cute ship from that same fandom. Alternatively, maybe they're the only people at a particularly small convention who happen to be cosplaying characters from the same fandom, and with both of them attending alone, they decide to hang out together? Heck, they could be dressed up as each other's favorite characters! There's plenty of reasons for the characters to meet each other in the first place, regardless. It has the potential to be a short term roleplay, in which we just cover the weekend during the convention. Or, if our characters decide to exchange communication with each other, I'm sure they could meet up at some future conventions, or they have a desire to take things one step further. Of course, agreeing on a specific fandom will be our first obstacle. I'll be leaving a small list of the first titles that come to mind down below. I've recently been watching a show by the name of 'That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime', and it is slowly but surely becoming my favorite anime to watch. Upon finding out about this fact, I've discovered that the genre known as 'Isekai' is occasionally something that I would like to see myself writing, and I get plenty of inspiration from the worlds I've seen. 'Isekai' tends to describe a plot in which the main character is forced to another world outside of the one they were living in; and it usually involves that protagonist dying, and being reborn into that new world. That said, this is the general idea that I'm providing at the moment. I have a few things to add, but first, I must lay down some rules. If you're familiar with the 'Isekai' genre prior to viewing this thread, you might know a few common characteristics that make up the whole plot. I might be wrong, but every anime revolving around this sort of story tends to have a pretty powerful main character. To the point where you're probably asking yourself, "Does this guy/girl ever freakin' die?" And if I'm honest, I absolutely love it. Call it a guilty pleasure of mine, but I love the fact that these protagonists are out here living their best life. Don't get me wrong, 'The Rising of the Shield Hero' definitely exists, and even that one had me on the edge of my seat, y'know? That one totally has a super strong main character, too. You might be able to see where I'm going with this. Just in case you don't, though... I intend for this story to be our own little guilty pleasure. I think I can confidently say that at least half of the people that roleplay are doing it to escape the real world. So this is quite literally the best thing someone could ask for, right? That's the way I see it, at least. We kinda-sorta just have to be relatively on the same page in order for a story like this to work. 'Cause if you're over here with the desire to do something that involves characters, history, or anything else from the series known as 'Overlord', I'm gonna feel all kinds of horrible when I say, "My lazy ass hasn't seen that one yet-" But, it is on my list to watch! This idea easily has the chance to go a bit out of control, and I suppose the best way to describe it would using the term 'crossover'. With that in mind, I will be including a little list of the Isekai anime that I have seen in my own personal ranking of best to not-so-best. However, we're not going to get too crazy unless you're interested in the thoughts that have come to mind. So for example, let's say we wish to reincarnate/send our characters to the wacky world of Konosuba in order to slay the Demon Lord. Sounds pretty epic, right? Or, what if they woke up in the country of Melromarc, and were immediately tasked with becoming two of the Four Heroes? Hell, we could always send them into a world as two little slimes, and see where they go from there! It might have been easier to explain it as an 'Original Characters self-insert fan fiction', but I figured I would use some words that may or may not have captured your attention. I can't work with anything less than two paragraphs. Alrighty. Onto the good stuff. All I have so far is collars - or chokers, bracelets, necklaces, or whatever you fancy. The accessory that we decide upon will come in a bundle, and will be discovered by our characters. For the sake of keeping things from getting confusing, I'll just use 'collars' for the example. Anywho, these collars are infused with some magical enhancements that are very similar to Wonder Woman's Lasso, if you're familiar with it. If not, all you need to know is that it works much like truth serum - the one that holds it can only speak the truth. Upon equipping one of these collars, however, the wearer will have no choice but to reveal the feelings they have been keeping secret from the one they love. Whether it's a like-like or a love-love, they're gonna come out and tell them. I also intend for most of these relationships to be Female x Female, if not all of them. On top of this, the collar will also cause the wearer to experience a decent amount of aphrodisiac effects. You can only imagine how quickly this will become a little hot and bothered. Maybe not the 'bothered' bit, seeing as consent is pretty epic and all that. But yeah, that's the idea so far!
