I paid close attention to Deadrin's explanation on what the hell had just happened. He told me that we were being watched by a depicable creature known as Cloaked Harvester, that was likely attracted to us after I had transformed into the Wrathful Blazerker. The very thought of that creature using living people as nothing more than tools to fuel their technology was making me sick. Horrifying monsters like that were one of the reasons why I wanted to become stronger in the first place, so I could take them down. The first sounds that assaulted Lexi when she first regained consciousness was not, as she expected, the constant hum of ship engines, but of the shrill shrieks of insects.
