Life isn't bad for your character. Son to a mighty and respected warrior, enough money to not worry about food, his mother is nice, and their home is a quite big 2 story house. All achieved by his father during his prime. But there is one flaw to his life. He has not inherited his father's talent for the art of fighting. Not that he is completely useless, but he has hit his ceiling already it seems. While their relationship isn't bad, the father is somewhat reserved around your character, his son that he should be raising into a fine man, yet does not know how to. One technically easy solution would be to win at the Festival of the Hunt.1 point

Jumi let the tail move as it wanted, a strange feeling, but not really unpleasant. Something she might get more used to in time. She kept working down, until she approached the base of the tail, she would leave that for later though. Instead, she followed the earlier advice, taking her time at first to wash the hair, something more familiar, but she put care into nonetheless, trying to be thorough. The ears were trickier. She had never washed anything quite like them before. She focused on the outer side for now, one at a time. Lightly working the shampoo into the fur and skin. For what it seemed like, Shinigami did not seem like an usual demon, if she was one. Even just being washed with some effort put into it went well into making her feel good and relaxed. At the same time, she did not seem so different from another certain hellbeast, which neither had met yet. Her nature was therefore not very clear. And yet, she appeared to enjoy this just as much as a human or anyone with a functioning body system would. Jumi would at least feel the same parts she could feel on someone else. The same muscles... Shinigami was, for all intents and purposes, not that different from them except in race, shape and style. Mits1 point

My idea for this plot is a woman growing up in a fantasy verse kingdom where her only options are to get married to a man, or become a magic user and she ends up becoming a magic user officially trained at a school or by someone she apprentices under. However she is into women, but the kingdom is very anti LGBTQ+ and her lover gets killed because of it. It turns into a desire for power along with revenge seeking and keeping secrets as she tries to gain enough power to get vengeance and burn everything to the ground while hiding who she is in terms of her sexuality. For bonus angst points it could have been her mother who turned her lover in,1 point
