What was that? Almost an apology, in a vague sense? Maybe it wasn’t, but whether or not it was, Jumi understood it was probably the closest she was going to get. “Impudence? Did it occur to you, you might have overreacted?” If Shinigami was so happy to see her angry, maybe she could safely speak her mind at least a little. The way she understood it from the beginning. She could accept Shinigami being angry at what she did. That by itself did not bother her. It was her reaction that cut so deeply into her.
