I’m actually really interested in this now, my mind is trying to see how I can incorporate a few of my OCs into this story. They’ll be just alternate version of themselves, it will be fun. I’m also seeing if I can come up with a new OC just for this.4 points

Hmm everything sounds possible, there’s one massive main dreamworld that is the empire of all dreamworlds, then there are offshoots that are little dutches and/or kingdoms that follow the lead of the empire4 points
-
So I have another question from what I’m reading at the post here, so is there just one dreamworld or is there like a multiple dreamworld like different dimensions or realms? If so does that mean there’s an infinite amount of possibilities of “governments“/kingdoms”?4 points
-
That was exactly what I was looking for. I appreciate it. I don’t know how to use the message system all that well. So I am learning as I go. like I just learned that you can only input images from the web and not from a Google Drive which is highly annoying4 points

https://ecchidreams.com/community/topic/8790-general-ooc/?do=findComment&comment=151345 So I have a question, is every character born in the ‘real’ world or can they be from the dream world and make their way over to the real world? Also who do you get that link in the post? I thought I did it correctly but apparently I didn’t4 points

Me! Me! Me! Can I join? This seems like this might be a epic little story and I would like to give it a try. i will admit that this will be a first for me, I have never really done an open rp forum before but I got years of experience with private RPs and even more years in DM for D&D so I am fairly confident that I could be competent in this.4 points

Okay. The idea here is a rather open world. Two worlds. The ‘ordinary’ and the dream world. There will not be a single larger story here but a bunch of small ones. You have a lot of freedom with characters. Some will be much more powerful than others. But fairly few, common sense rules here. No killing/controlling/significantly changing someone else’s characters without permission. Respect preference sheets, when it comes to that stuff. The ruler(s) of the dream world are not an option to play, but just about anything else is.3 points

I am the opposite. That’s part of the things that I’m trying to figure out for some of my OCs and I got a really good idea for one of them. As it stands right now, I definitely have one character already finished my mind. I just had to write her down. And I’m almost done with the second. I had to flush out the background.3 points

This is the only part I'm confused about. I dunno if I should actually do any character from the non-dreamworld to the dream world. It's basically a mmo at this point. lol3 points
-
I'm happy more have the whole idea of being able to slip their original characters into other worlds when it fits. :3 Makes me happy to see the kinds of characters that can fit! So far I finally think I got the idea for my first character... Just gotta figure out how to put him together for this, but he's definitely gonna go from plain human in one world to more nonhuman in the other...3 points
-
Hence Knia being available in that world and going from a place to another. Knia vs Dragon girl would be a terribly destructive fight, though. (But awesome)3 points
-
All of these different areas could be different 'dreamscapes'. It would allow for a large variety of characters, one area could be more futuristic, another could be more fantastical, one could be an apocalyptic nightmare! and it'd be fun to actually let characters hop around from one place to another.3 points
-
So one world with multiple areas and/or regions. Alright. Now, it's more clear. And what, is every areas in a war with each others, then?3 points
-
My idea was it was all one world. But the local rulers have a lot of power to shape their areas. And it can vary a lot.3 points

Sounds complicated. Also dream world = Kirby. But seriously, I am myself confused about how this works. If we have pocket dimensions then we have short stories but that doesn't tell us much about what we can do in them. And if it's "anything" then is there a theme at all? Otherwise, color me very confused about all of this works. Because yeah, I have no idea. XD3 points

As I understood it, there was one dream world, unified under one overall empire. However there are multiple sub realms within said dream world, and those may feature different rulers. Following on your second question, I do believe different worlds can indeed feature different governments/kingdoms, so one controls one space/area, while another may control the neighboring space, and those possibilities are only as limited as we as players are. That's my understanding so far though.3 points

We all learn as we go, so much about this message system I haven't figured out myself yet x_x3 points

That was basically what Chiyako said too when she saw the club. Not exactly what I was thinking when I made it, but I see it now. That’s all I’ve heard from her on it though. Not sure if she plans to join or not. But even if she joins later, it will be easy to fit her in in this one. They don’t all have to have been born the ‘real world’. The ‘Judge’ I made may or may not have been.3 points

You mean the quote? o: There's a little button for it on the bottom of the post you want to try to quote that will make a post pop up like it did here. ^^ If that wasn't what you wanted though, I apologize. x_x3 points

Hello @SheylinHalfGoblin, a pleasure to have you! For your first question, curious to know too, will see what Satai thinks :3 Would be cool to have some dream-exclusive characters too in my opinion As for the second question, if you just copy paste the link as normal text and wait a moment, it should turn into this, if that's your question.3 points
-
Welcome, new player! I'm glad more can see the potential epic value of it. xD But hopefully we can manage to actually live up to those hopes. :3 Ooh, so it's more about just how grounded they are in their world, and how much they might feel themselves pulled to the other that may determine whether they could come and go from it, or are stuck there... This is sounding like there's a lot of isekai potential in this, and while I'm normally not as big on that genre, it does lend itself to plenty of fun ideas and beginnings...3 points
-
Like I said in the description, it depends on how strongly they are connected to the world. They can have a temporary connection that is more like an ordinary dream, that they wake up from. But if they get too deep into it, getting out could be much harder if not impossible.3 points
-
There seem to be many sub-realms, so who knows? Maybe a sci-fi-esque, digital world exists somewhere in the other side. : p3 points
-
I'll just be using digimon. lul. But no. Even though it "could" be. If the world is one of dreams then I suppose it doesn't exist. Since dreams are, well, dreams...3 points
-
That is surprisingly a bit helpful. It tells me that the crossover from the normal world to the one of dreams feels like it may be a one way trip. Unless there's some other matters at play. Right now it sounds a lot like once you crossover, you're in for life on the other side, at least.3 points

My first character is up. Though it is a character there mostly to help introduce other characters to the world. Though I have an idea for its true nature that might be fun. Or I may (re)use that character as one of the local rulers. It is a fantasy world. Though space bunny made fantasy can probably be given a place whatever else happens. And may show up even without other bunnies to find.3 points
-
I may not promises yet! All I have is a character idea, maybe some images, and a personality, but plotwise nothing in concrete yet, especially not before I make my first character. xD I'm leaning more fantasy than sci-fi mention for any of the ideas I have so far, but let's see how things go. :33 points
-
Bunnies….does space bunny hear the cries for companionship? It failed to catch Emi after all.3 points
-
I have maybe one or two ideas myself as well. As well as a third that will be waiting a bit before I make her after my primary character, but there will be gremlin behaviors and bunny themes...3 points
-
Well I have at least one idea for a character, that could be matched up with just about anyone, that I may get to work on. Maybe one or two others, but will wait a little while to see just how many other people might join.3 points
-
Chiyako has seen the club too now at least. But will see what she does after she catches up on Youths and gets a Jijii post in.3 points

Well, ironically, she did lose all of her amounted power later so she became her first self, pretty much. But she built experience. And she can transform into a large dragon beast, too. So no, she won't be a world destroyer then. She CAN use her signature ball, though. I love to call it "Rasengan" for semantic's sake. It's a ball of energy that she can cast to explode against whatever it impacts. Her dragon form can basically make a tailed beast bomb version of that. It uses a lot of energy. But yeah, if anything, she's just a very powerful creature and I am sure there is as strong if not stronger than she is. She will obviously be a dream on3 points
-
That's perfectly fine. : ) It's still quite an epic storyline that she followed, originally taking out creatures larger than her, punching far above her weight, and eventually coming to settle down in a place like that. If you do choose to use her here, it'll be interesting to see how she manages to acclimate to this setting for sure. My only hope is that allowing these high end characters doesn't have lasting repercussions for either world. xD But so far, I think having the highest tiers of the rulers not being playable will hopefully function as a safe means of avoiding too much destabilization, so it'll just be a matter of seeing how3 points
-
Just so we're clear. All this was done more or less against her will and never with any evil intentions. She was weaponized to fight planetary wars against godly characters and all that. But the funny part is that she always kept a kind of innocent personality anyway. All that while basically summoning a massive ball of power energy that tore through god monsters apart. Her power was seen as a universal threat by everything. Evil characters either wanted her dead or wanted her power for themselves. And despite being a natural enemy of humanity, she still did what she could to save them anyway. I think one of the most interesting things about3 points
-
Hence the broken, I get it now. xD That's quite a storied origin though for something that took place long ago! Makes me wish I took the time to make a character in that tier long ago. T-T3 points
-
If you knew... XD She started as a dark world character who basically hunted beasts 10 times her size and sold whatever loot she could find for pieces of meat. A light character of mine who was a mostly a pacifist with every sides liked to head to her world (And she was the only one who could because of the air that would kill literally any other light characters). And so they met and she brought her back to her side, offering her protection from her enemies in exchange of promise that she'd behave. Dragon girl speaks very little and isn't really bloodthirsty to kill anyone so that was fair to her. Then... She became an unexpected hero then w3 points
-
Dragon girl with a big sword? Let's hear more about this interesting lass with a self-sized blade. : p How did she come to be?3 points
-
I will probably use my 20 years long character, a kind of broken dragon girl with a sword bigger than she is. XD Because at this point, I owe her this much.3 points
-
That's a way to see it! Ugh, the world setting and this chatter has little gear wheels turning already but I need to see how it can be properly engaged. It's funny, you felt Dynasty Warriors, at least considering what the 'mundane' warring state world feels like. In a way, I felt more... What were those games, Nioh? Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty? I got feelings like that from it, and that's before the dream world factor plays into things (which would allow for the fantasy/supernatural elements of those settings) I have ways to try to play around with that, but it's going to take some additional thought to see how to weave interaction in3 points
-
Well, if they are dream worlds of magic or whatever, I can bring any of my world characters as "Maybe they exist or maybe they don't" characters. Who knows?3 points
-
Color me curious to see now. ^^ Part of me wants to aim to make someone just a little bit lower on the scale but able to look into a larger part of the world, but that's going to take some thinking on. Can potentially make a reason for involvement with several different styles of plot within reason, without hopefully being too intrusive on others' ideas...3 points
-
Knia, mostly. But I also have more hidden ones that I'd like to use. And some other secret characters I could use from my own worlds as well. Who knows, really.3 points
-
That's definitely fair. The call of some good wide-ranging fantasy and how the world seems to be handled came off as pretty unique. Don't have ideas that immediately jump out at me just yet, but the pot is definitely stirring to see what gets cooked up. ^^ Also I do believe/think Chiyako said she would be out for the rest of yesterday and was coming back today maybe, so there definitely might be some waiting involved. Also also, hi Warning. xD That's an interesting angle to see the world from, but I'd be curious to see which of your androids cones out to play here. :33 points
-
And this place gives dynasty warriors kind of vibes. I have no idea what I'll even be doing here. Maybe actually use my androids this time. Who knows? XD3 points
-
I invited Chiyako too, though she has not seen it yet. Will see if it interests her and who else joins. It will probably be several at least semi-independent stories going on, rather than one team. Though that may also depend on how many people play and how many characters there are.3 points
-
You allowed me to be here, and now it's everyone's problem. : p Jokes aside, I literally just woke up, saw this place had two of my favorite usual writers, and a most interesting background idea that seems fit for a sandbox style story with inklings of some plot. If that isn't a recipe that appeals to my tastes, I don't know what is. xD3 points

The dream world is both a unified empire and yet incredibly fragmented. Local lords (who could be any sort of being) have a great deal of power to shape their area, as far as their imagination and will allows. Realms that can be either paradise or hellish, for those who are subjects to the lords. These lords are playable, it just those who rule the entire dream world, who these lords answer to, who are not playable.3 points
