Hey I'm new around here and I'm looking to do a roleplay I've been hoping to get a chance to role play theirs no specific concepts I'm looking at right now. Very interested in a FxF pairing too but it seems like those are rare to come by here. So if your interested in that please send a message but for this willing to play multiple genders don't feel forced too. I'd love to hear some ideas for plots and or even starters for anyone who's interested. So far, my working idea is a human character who may have been inadvertently visiting the dream world for a long time when he sleeps, although he can't interact much, he often converses with a woman that tells him about the other side, saying he isn't ready to come to the world yet, but her stories slowly interest him as his place in the ordinary world comes at a very turbulent and troubling time. Ultimately, something occurs where he will no longer be able to return to the ordinary world while lamenting he won't be able to see this new world, but he'll eventually awaken in the other side, no longer the human he once was. It's hard to put where the power limit should be exactly. The lords for example are obviously very powerful, can shape reality in their territory, to the point very few could challenge them, only other lords, or one of the few with potential to become one. Though perhaps they have to put a constant effort into maintaining what their territory looks like, which may prevent them from using their full power on other things. A group of somewhat less powerful individuals might be able to overpower one of them that did not have any help too. In the ordinary world, it is probably limited to fairly standard fantasy races. You can do it that wa if you want, though my one character so far did not have an image (yet), so I didn't do it that way. Others could be put under images, with profile.4 points

Without edit, I'd be doomed. Especially with how much I like to edit things. So yeah. At least the album CAN be edited at will, which is good.4 points

A thought occurs to me. @SataiRolePlayingGuy should we use the profile style you have set up, or should we do album style? I think I noticed album style could still be edited, so maybe that might work out better, like we have with Troubled Youths?4 points

Ahhhh I think I get that feeling really well!! Although I usually play males, often times they'll be random, whereas I have 3 female OCs I created that I've probably worked on the most over the years without using too much. Just the process of designing them took days-weeks sometimes (luckily for the 3rd, I could leave most of that work to an artist while I simply gave my input every step of the way) and then actually fleshing out their background and stories is something I never really stop working on ever since I made them! Plus...I've gotten way too many commissions for them xD It's hard to stop once you start!4 points

Well, like I said before, it’s merely just transferring over my OCs to this world. I worked on my OC for a looooooong time, the oldest one (my main one), Sheylin I have been working on and altering for a decade. I even had a commission done for her. For every OC that I have, I’ve spent at least several weeks if not more on their background. All the random characters I do for her. I throw them together, but the ones I actually consider my OC’s I put quite a bit effort.4 points

I used to think it was difficult too, but it's surprisingly easy, until you're trying to keep the right image on top. >.< Under Image tab at the top though, click 'Add Images' and then click 'Create New Album'. : ) From there, fill in the sheet as you need, and when you're ready, click Save. The next part after that will let you add images as you wish, I believe! I'll remember this. T_T3 points

When you go to the images, you upload a character but "create a new album". Inside that album, you put title (Character name) and in the box, you put the bio stuff. THEN you move to next step where you will upload the image(s). Note, they appear in reverse order. So if you upload 1, 2, 3, 4, they show as 4, 3, 2, 1. Basically...3 points

One of the most difficult aspects for me is figuring out the power-scaling here. I don't want to make my character too strong, but if I start weak to improve upon, I wouldn't want him to lag behind the others too much either.2 points

The hardest part will be figuring out Takuya's abilities. I need to think of something fun, but not oppressive... Also trying to to fill out some extra details to elaborate more on what he is, additional appearance things separate from just what his image shows, and maybe some species explanations for him.2 points

So, not too much of an idea but more of a craving right now. Been kind of craving to be a Sub male who is either being corrupted or taken advantage of. Shinigami made sure the two are ready before she started going. Mitsuko meanwhile would call Nall back to her, which was fairly easy to do with him flying around the manor a bit. "We're leaving, Nall... She said that this place is not good for us to stay. Can't really explain...", Nall himself looked confused but the fox didn't stop for details, bringing them to the front door and gave it her full strength, breaking them open, being a bit loud about it. There was still rain but nowhere near the scene that jumi had seen before. For one, it was not dark then the rain was not as heavy either. Still, they would be left wet. Nall was nothing but c1 point

So, that actually did have an impact. Would anything else happen if she kept doing it? If Mitsuko did it, especially after dealing with whoever that girl was? But this just made her decision more certain, even if she had only temporarily been connected to Shinigami like that. “There were other things that might surprise you, but hearing about that should probably wait.” She just watched the rest, a fairly nice scene, until they were done1 point

They are all theoretically under the control of a central government. Though the rulers may have their reasons for allowing the local lords to fight each other to at least an extent. There might also be ‘wild’ areas that either don’t have anyone shaping them or more…unnatural rulers, monsters of various sorts, potentially of rather eldritch sort at least sometimes. I do have a few ideas, for other characters, but probably will wait a few days. See if anyone else joins, possibly what other characters might be made. Will probably make one of the lords (well, lady), and a few others, who might or might not be in territory.1 point

Sounds complicated. Also dream world = Kirby. But seriously, I am myself confused about how this works. If we have pocket dimensions then we have short stories but that doesn't tell us much about what we can do in them. And if it's "anything" then is there a theme at all? Once done, she grabbed her hands and brought them up to her own breasts, holding them over them. As I understood it, there was one dream world, unified under one overall empire. However there are multiple sub realms within said dream world, and those may feature different rulers. Following on your second question, I do believe different worlds can indeed feature different governments/kingdoms, so one controls one space/area, while another may control the neighboring space, and those possibilities are only as limited as we as players are. That's my understanding so far though.1 point

Not sure if she plans to join or not. But even if she joins later, it will be easy to fit her in in this one. They don’t all have to have been born the ‘real world’. I'm glad more can see the potential epic value of it. xD But hopefully we can manage to actually live up to those hopes. :3 Ooh, so it's more about just how grounded they are in their world, and how much they might feel themselves pulled to the other that may determine whether they could come and go from it, or are stuck there... This is sounding like there's a lot of isekai potential in this, and while I'm normally not as big on that genre, it does lend itself to plenty of fun ideas and beginnings...1 point

Like I said in the description, it depends on how strongly they are connected to the world. They can have a temporary connection that is more like an ordinary dream, that they wake up from. But if they get too deep into it, getting out could be much harder if not impossible.1 point

That is surprisingly a bit helpful. It tells me that the crossover from the normal world to the one of dreams feels like it may be a one way trip. Unless there's some other matters at play. Right now it sounds a lot like once you crossover, you're in for life on the other side, at least.1 point

My first character is up. Though it is a character there mostly to help introduce other characters to the world. Though I have an idea for its true nature that might be fun. Or I may (re)use that character as one of the local rulers. It is a fantasy world. Though space bunny made fantasy can probably be given a place whatever else happens. And may show up even without other bunnies to find.1 point
