Holy crap, I wasn't seeing things when I saw 5 people in the club vecaneb6 earlier. x_@ Welcome @TwinkAesthetic! Whether you're just curiously peeking in or have a curiosity in writing here, it's nice to see you here! ^^ Apologies if we got a bit carried away talking and planning here... x-x ... I am not sure why my phone typing glitch went bad there, but it's supposed to say 'became 6' after the word Club. -_-

Like I expected, Dio coming in hot! And oh snap, I see Aesthetic (I'm sorry, I can't say the first one because it feels almost insulting on its own. T-T) even brought us a long lived, cute elf guy! Luckily, I see he's a demiromantic, so he'll be safe from the hardest of Takuya's flirting to be befriended properly. :3

Woohoo! Looking forward! Hopefully today I can finish up Takuya by giving him a decent enough ability set, and then maybe I'll get to work on a second character. ^^

I'll be dishing out a character today

We're already looking at one snakey boy, one cute herm gobbie, and a sweet seeming slime girl. We've also got a mysterious and spooky Judge character, and potential for other fun chars from Satai, including I believe one cute Centauress, and Dio... Well, I would be understating what kind of potential Dio has to work with. xD Then we've got Warning, who also finally seemed to be starting to maybe cook ideas, so all in all... Everything is coming together, it feels like! But I won't say no to more potential. ^^ Although I know they're not feeling well ATM, so we may need to give them a few days to get better!

I dunno how others will handle it but I know when Takuya dreamed, initially he was unable to move or see much of anything. Just a view like he was underwater and hearing a voice. Overtime he slowly became able to move, but he couldn't see what his form was like initially. Little by little his form began to clear up more, until the day things came to an end for him in the Real World and he went to the Dream World. ^^ (The actual reason for that is a bit odd to explain as I imagined it, but thankfully no one ingame will probably be asking him about that since even he doesn't remember, only one or two others can explain what happened. xD )

The way I see it is that you can jump back-and-forth and you become who you are. your body doesn’t remain behind at all. Unless I mistaken.

In this medium, I treat a comment like that as acceptable risks. : p I'm known to have guys who get bullied, innocently or otherwise, so come what may, color me excited to find out what happens! xD I think the Lords who have control over their regions are probably as close to God/Goddess as one might get, but as I understand even they have higher-up entities they more or less answer to. According to what Satai said, and THOSE entities are not playable.

I mean, I have a feeling that I might understand fine enough, considering I used a star ocean like setting for my own stories. But since this is not the matrix... I find fun we can go to sleep and suddenly, we find another world. But it's not "all" that crazy, considering the amount of worlds that did it before. Such games are everywhere. It's basically, "What would you look like if you got yourself isekai-ed in a world without rules?" Like, if there's no character rule at all, we can basically be >anything<. I assume no gods or goddesses.

As long as your characters might be fine with someone's naughty tail sneaking down there... We'll probably get along swimmingly ingame! xD Take your time, when you find those types you really do like, your joy tends to shine through pretty brightly. :3 Hopefully we can drag Satai in here tomorrow to potentially explain a few more things for you to hopefully clarify things. ^^ Maybe also collect any additional information that was discussed so new people joining don't have to read through 5+ pages of us shooting the breeze in between planning...

I am a bit hard to please myself when it comes to certain characters. Not a goblin person, tbh. But I think it's fine. I will take my time since I don't really aim to please anyone. (And I usually aim for cute and/or loli characters anyway.) My dragon girl idea was not bad but I'm afraid I don't understand enough of this roleplay idea just yet.

Ooooh that makes a lot of fucking sense, in regards to that I tend to make all my characters like me. They can stick their hands down someone’s pants and be fine with whatever they find.

Oh! Like, sexual orientation is what I've come to know it as, and honestly I wasn't sure if it meant anything else here. Things like Heterosexual, Homosexual, Bisexual and the like, I mean.

I honestly don’t know what you guys mean by that. I know what an orientation is but not in this context, can anyone explain that?

I've only known you for a few days and already you sound like you've got hella fun characters that I can't wait to see in action. xD Hopefully they don't mind being flirted with by one snakey boy. : p I couldn't see any established orientations, which means it's time for the leap of faith approach. xD

Haha thanks! It took me a minute to give her a new background for this setting, but Dewdrop is in the house! I tend to have the most fun RPing her, her shaping shift makes for an interesting story device…as well a interesting erotic rp device!

I had just come from adding a few more details to Takuya's sheet when I saw a new one came up, just had to check, and yaaay~! Love seeing some slime/good girl aesthetics! Well, assuming that characters in the real world live in the "fantasy" times, yeah. Robots wouldn't exactly exist. Still, I may be looking into some human transformation to anthro and separate both. OR I'll just make things that only exist in the dream world. It's a dream world so anything can be part of the dream. I will go full paprika mode with this.

Well, it sounds like you're starting to get options together at least? I can't tell how serious you are about these, but if you feel enthusiastic about them, then I'm all for it. ^^ Well, minus the Welch one, I'm not quite sure how I feel about literal canon characters showing up in a game like this... But that's just me. x_x

Human/Fantasy Race in Real World to a new race in Dream World seems like it could be the average, and Sheylin was creative in doing the exact reverse of that, so I think it's fair. :3 Also Warning, you could totally do Human to Furry/Anthro Form. It could definitely be a thing! Iirc, the caveats for this transfer are that less investment in the opposite world just makes you a visitor I think, but the more you believe in it, the harder it pulls on you until it's nearly inescapable I think? As for me, I'm gonna stick to my plan to leave Takuya stuck in Dream World myself. The Real World will have too many unpleasant memories for him

No offense but that's what I said. o.O My example of dot hack or heck, sword art online, goes that you can use an "avatar" in the dream world. You could be a different person from World A to World B by identity masking. Which brings us to..... Wait, this club is exactly that XD We are mmo players playing a mmo. Except it's a dream so it's a "different take" but if we make dot hack a dream world instead of a mmo, this would literally be the same thing. Which is interesting really... But this is where I am stuck with indecision... Even if I had a character who became something else in the mmo, I wouldn't know where to begin since there's n

The way I see it is that they have two forms, a dreamworld form and a real world form.

Well, there is a literal game named dreamfall or something, I think based on a dream world. OR Kirby, more literally. Those "characters" are as real as the dream is. And you can die by being there. BUT what I mean by NPCs is that while normal people CAN return to their real world. The dream people can't go anywhere else. They're in the matrix.

That sounds like logic someone from the World of Reality might think before the reality of the World of Dreams hits them like a baseball bat. xD But I like to think maybe some just happen to come from other worlds perhaps (to excuse special crossover characters for those with an interest in that)... Although maybe that's something to ask Satai more than anything. I might have gotten away with it when it comes to Archer in Youths, but not sure I have a means of doing that again here. xD

Quoting Satai from earlier, he said this in response to one of Sheylin's earlier questions I think? So it seems like you don't 'have' to involve the real world for your character? You can just cut out the proverbial middle man and go right for the World of Dreams, it seems like. :3 Think is, I don't know if the real world will have too much to do in the interim,in which if it does, then Takuya is boned since his trip to the World of Dreams is one way. xD But luckily I could make others if needed... You sound like you've got fun gremlin energy about you, I can't wait to see what else you bring to the table. ^^

Issue is, I know it's a dream thing and I dunno if I can just make a "normal" character to become something else in the dream world. (And why). Since the normal world is supposed to be without magic. I have ideas on that but it's hard to pinpoint which is best in that case. Or if anyone fits a certain role on that side. So yeah. x.x

I suck when it comes to system/tabletop games. T_T But I can already feel your energy for her, and that's enough to get me hyped to see her in action in the game! As for the NSFW, I bet she looks just as good, but I'll let my imagination do the work there when she manages to get her first time in a fun lewd scene. >:3

Well, she originally started out as a D&D character so her power level is very fair. She always seems to have a mechanical/magical answer for anything comes across and if she doesn’t have one, give her about two hours, she’ll have one. Also, I have a NSFW version of that photo too, ROFL

Oh man I fucking hiped right now! I was messing around on an AI art generator trying to get a character made. And if came out fucking perfect! It came out exactly as I pictured it! this is the first time that I got an AI generator to give me what I wanted

Random idea. Someone finds herself in a dream and incarnates the memory of a old spirit hero in that dream world, hence someone taking the shape of dragon girl but with her memory. More or less joking. But another idea I had was "Digimon" at this point. Pokemon also did the whole isekai yourself in a creature. XD Jennifer the werewolf but she's human in the real world and werewolf in the dreamworld. Uhh... What else? Welch was an obvious one, being a kind of "not supposed to be there" being, to mess with the world.

I'd be audacious and say Takuya would try to not make her feel like an NPC, but that's me being far too presumptive and not knowing where her orientations lie. Also Taku is a bit too flirty and playful for his own good, so that doesn't help things... >.> Maybe that's why Sheylin has a Real form as an Elf? o: Satai did say the races in the Real World are closer to fantasy ones, after all!

So if they're "born" in the dream world, does that make them "NPCs"? XD Since they do or don't really exist "in real life", right?

I'd make a character too if I knew what I wanted to make. But infinite possibilities + indecisive person doesn't make a good combo, to be honest.

There certainly could be some of that in the wild regions already. But yeah, probably nothing that would endanger the world, but maybe local threats.

Hey Satai, question! I know this is mostly sandbox with a very open-ended approach, but is it possible to create a potential threat that could endanger other regions to create more of a sense of urgency and potential unity for players?
