A brief cutting laugh, something within her mind closer to a hyena's chuckle, cut to Selene's core like a lashing whip. She tried to avoid speaking up. This was the reason for it. ...well fuck it, since we kind of are off the rails a little anyways. my plan for him was to have been responsible for several disappearances in the area, the catch being that... velvet frankly doesn't have a full... idea of what he wants... and part of her deal with him lets him take control of her body on some occasions(chance on darkest self). she knows that those who have gone missing are not dead, but she doesnt know what he has done with them. he does not lie, but he will never show all of his cards. currently? he has his eyes set on robin herself, hence the mission I mentioned IC... not that velvet... intends to follow that to the1 point

On one hand things did not go precisely how she'd hoped. In a better timeline the twins might have handed her the phone and instructed her to bring it over. If that had happened then she could have simply deleted the footage by 'mistake'. What she managed instead was a delaying action and a harder path forward. She knew that she could play to the ego of others. The poor little awkward witch made to be the pawn to the trickster sisters. Instead of the two approaching the DJ to set things up she could get the two to send her instead. It gave her time to plan further and an opportunity to focus her efforts on the other half of the equation.1 point

Soooo Velvet just got a bit too protective of robin and pulled some strings... in the form her her strings attached bargin... I can ask the Dark power for something that I really really want. the MC will attach a price to the thing I want, and hint at an undesired twist in its nature. IF I pay the price, Ill get what Im after... buuut we dont have an MC atm, but I dont think I should pick this myself... anyone have any ideas?1 point

I agree. I don't think Dylan's lost freak yet. Someone with influence over Dylan's reputation (like a Derek) could do something, but I think it's going to take a more concrete interaction or pulling a string in a significant way.1 point

Maray turns around to get another swig of water, her tall glass slowly filling up until the clear liquid was nearly spilling over the edge. ive edited my charactter sheet a little to better reflect that diversity of the sort of appearance the ai can take... better that way so i don't have to scavage that one artist to find something that looks human enough or in some cases inhuman enough... does kinda feel weird to pic a human and slap the robot label on it though.1 point

Dylan does have Blank Canvas. The question is, have they lost "freak"? I don't think I should get to decide that, but, in thinking about it, it seems like there would have to be witnesses seeing Derek and his friends interacting with Dylan in some other way.1 point

I think that makes sense. I think Derek is definitely thrown off enough here that he's not looking to prolong the interaction. On the XP question, I know the Hollow gets an XP for gaining a new condition, but I don't see where Dylan would get one for leaning into a condition or acting on it. If Dylan has A Blank Canvas, then they could leverage it here to cross off freak. I could imagine the mood shifting a bit, with the others taking Derek's lead off an unspoken thought of 'Oh! Dylan's kind of hot actually... they can't be a freak if I want to get freaky with them...'1 point
