    I've been thinking a bit about Resident Evil in general after finishing Village, which is a pretty excellent entry in the series. The series had its highs and lows and sometimes it feels Capcom are pretty misguided. Just think how about they keep trying to make online games nobody want instead of bringing back the Outbreak games, which everybody want. Weird, isn't it? But of all the missteps Capcom ever made with the series, none boiled my blood as hard as Resident Evil 6, the unwanted step-child begging to be locked into the attic and fed with stale bread and dirty water.     I was chatting with a couple of members about the current version I am playing at the moment. (Dragon Age: Inquisition) and I figured that I would stream the game series on my twitch. That is if people would want to watch. I would figure out a timetable and probably stream something like an hour or two at most one fixed days.     Okay, I share a lot of fault in this but this still annoys me vastly and the game set up shares part of the blame. I still have an Ultima Online account, the first big MMO. Still running after over 20 years though a shadow of what it was early on and plays considerably different than it used to (better in some ways, worse in others). I started when it was brand new, played a few years, stopped, then came back with a new account a few years back. One of its early features was a player being able to buy there own house.     I've always been partial to grand strategy games like Europa Universalis, Crusader Kings, Supremacy, and Total War. I really enjoy the inherent roleplay aspect of it and much more so with good mods that improve the visibility of those gameplay elements. There are so many wonderful/shocking/exciting moments that I can look back on and point to that really impacted me. So what are your favorites and if you have any specific examples of neat occurrences that have stuck with you in that time?

    Lately, I've been totally hooked on mobile games! I went on a spree, downloading a bunch that seemed super fun, and I'm still making my way through them. I used to be really into Game of War: Fire Age, but it got a bit crazy with how much money it wanted. As I kept playing, it felt like the game's economy got out of control with multiple premium currencies. It became this cycle of spending just to keep up, or risk getting everything wiped out by big spenders. When I realized I'd spent way more than I meant to, I decided it was time to call it quits.     So like I'm a souls veteran all the way from OG demon souls, loved playing the games all the way to Elden Ring where I found it too easy... 🙄 So I buy the DLC and jump back into the lands between only to be met with disappointment... but no this story doesn't have a bad ending.     Surprisingly I haven't seen anyone talking about this even with all the craze for it and how it's the 2nd most sold game this year. I would love to discuss progress and things everyone has discovered! I'm a huge legend of Zelda fan and have played most if not all of the major lore filled games in the series.     So I have quite a collection of retro games I'm working on or have yet to play, for systems such as PS1 & 2, Game Boy Color and Advance, Nintendo DS, and even as early as the NES, SNES, and Genesis. I also have a few for my Steam library. The usual categories, from first to last, involve RPGs, Platformers, Arcade, Racing, Shoot em up, Brawler & Beat em up, Hack n Slash, Adventure, Farm Sim, and some puzzlers involving Bubbles, Marbles, and Gems. I've found out that the more indie, under-the-radar games are drawing my interest more than the mainstream AAA games, most likely for availability and compatibility one whatever I play on.
