How do I leave a conversation I started been trying to leave a few but can't seem to understand how I can remove myself any help would be appreciated

You can do this by deleting the conversation. Click/Tap on "Options" and then click/tap on "Delete Conversation" this will remove you from the conversation, but it will also delete the conversation from your box.

If you want to keep the EcchiText, so you can read it back later, I'd advise making a folder in the EcchiText home folder called "Old" or something, going to the message and then tapping/clicking on "Turn notifications off" which will only apply to that message. After moving the conversation to this folder, you will be able to view the EcchiText later.
