When she was younger, she was charmed by a local pastor's son, who promised to take her hand in marriage once she was old enough. Unfortunately, this promise proved to be just empty words when she fell pregnant as he took advantage of her (at the time) naive and trusting nature. Skyler soon learned how cruel the world was as her parents disowned her for having intercourse outside of marriage and dared to be underage when committing such a sinful act. She was also cast out of her community and accused of being a wicked temptress who had the audacity to corrupt the pastor's son. Having nowhere else to go she ended up in a shelter in the next town over and found friendship and support where she least expected. Skyler was also lucky enough to have the director of the shelter accompany her to the hospital when she eventually gave birth to a beautiful baby boy.

Fast forward seven years and she has managed to keep herself and her son afloat with the help of a friend she made at the shelter where her new life began. Over the years she has worked multiple jobs, while her roommate helped with babysitting. Thankfully, recently, her life took a dramatic turn for the better as she answered an advert for pole dancers. Skyler is now no longer stressed out about money or overworked from multiple jobs. Now she is able to work without worrying if her next paycheck would be on time or if she would be fired for small mistakes. All she has to do is dance and have fun with patrons to get paid and she loves it!
