Thoughts about the Ecchi Dreams and what I am doing on the site So far.

The place is interesting, I like looking at what it offers. Currently have been checking who is on, have sent one person Ecchi text. Is it a good idea to message people first or make  a post and get to know people? I made one RP ad in Private Messaging section, joined about 10 clubs, responded one rp properly, I see the clubs vary in activity. 

I like the forum games, have not posted in other places yet. I have gradually read the rules, and making sure to follow them.

I think it depends on whether you have any specific ideas or not. So far I've been messaging other people after checking their preference list and seeing an idea of theirs in the forums.

The private roleplay bulletins board is a good place to post if you have a specific craving or plot idea.

The clubs I have joined look to be mostly quiet, I look at Private Roleplay bulletin and Ecchi Texted specific users, so far more positive results than negative ones. Seeing my Rep points gradually go up, I see it effecting the results  for the better.

I made varies roleplay ideas in my one PM bulletin post, bumped it 3 times. Waiting for RPs in PM/Ecchi Text.

I'd say a bit of both.  Having a place for your own ideas would be a good thing, but at the same time, getting to know the folks who are around would be helpful as well.

Adding on to this, I think it's a very good idea to reach out and message people that you think might be a good fit.  It's been my experience that a lot of people will post their ideas on the Private Bulletin and then just wait.  By approaching others, you increase the chance of finding someone to play with.

That makes sense, getting to know people more is a good way to find rp partners. 
Hopefully approaching more leads to results, since 2 or 3 didn't get anything, and 2 or 3 did get something. So far it a good start.

Just keep at it and give it time.  The more you put yourself out and get seen by others, the more they get a chance to see how you write, the more RP offers you'll get.  Imo, it helps to look through the Private Bulletins yourself.  You might find something that interests you and after building some rapport with the other RPer, might be able to interest them in one of your plots.  Or even find something a bit similar or that you might be able to weave one of your plots into.  RPing is all about collaboration, give and take, teamwork.

I did for one, which was one of the non result responses. I have 2 others which didn't answer yet. Building up Rapport is important I agree with that. It is true, it is teamwork and Collaboration indeed.
