FATE uses fudge-rolls so every roll is four 6-sided dice. 1 or 2 = -1 3 or 4 = +0 5 or 6 = +1 If I make a Stealth roll with my +3 Stealth skill, I'll roll 4d6 and adjust the result by my skill bonus. So if I roll 2, 5, 3, 1 then I would add -1, +1, +0, -1 for -1, then add my +3 Stealth for a total of 2. Our GM determines how high you need to roll for a success. If you have an Aspect that helps, you can declare it for an extra +2 bonus.
