  1. This has been implemented. Thank you for the suggestion. The guides should have also been updated to reflect the change.
  2. I wish, I got a lot of games I want to play, and some roleplays to do. That ain't going to happen with my workload, mate. xD
  3. Welcome to EcchiDreams, Reciter! We did an update about last year and its still in Beta until about the 6th September thats why were workin' hard.
  4. That's not what I said. If I decided to make EcchiTown for Expert Roleplayers only, that'd be how that'd be done. What I meant to say was "It's highly, unlikely."
  5. I'd beg the question as to why would an expert skill roleplay require no Character ID? That's not computing with me at all. The reason why the forum account thing works with the EcchiTown RP is because of it's uniqueness, essentially I only intended EcchiTown to be a 'lounge' or something where Roleplayers could chill out, and interact with other roleplayers, even teach newer roleplayers some skills and such. What I'm saying is; EcchiTown is an exception - not the rule. Typically speaking we probably won't, or at least shouldn't see many 'mixed' skill roleplays. Separating by skill makes sense; however I understand what you're saying and I also agree with it - to a point. You've certainly raised yet another good suggestion, and I know it's one that @Neptune and I will be thinking about.
  6. Thanks for reporting it @Whoreo, hopefully it should now be fixed.
  7. Thanks; I pitched it to Neptune and she loved the idea. I got the idea because I used it a lot. Then I thought 'well... that's rather selfish' so I decided to share. ... Okay that's a little fictional. I have had the ability to do this for a while and I suddenly wondered if roleplayers could make use of it and Dreamers who weren't roleplayers *might* make use of it too. Because we (Staff) can see everyone's threads, if they need help with something they can tag us in, or even send us an EcchiText and we can give them a hand. But the point of it is that no one else can see it. Now theoretically you could use it to store passwords and notes; but I SERIOUSLY cannot and will not recommend that, like, at all. I think I might put that into the description... Yeah; I'll go do that now. (Edit: Done) But this is a much needed update; great work guys (and a pat on my own back). ?
  8. Welcome to EcchiDreams Redlewd! I look forward to seeing you around. If you ever get stuck with anything on our site, and you need a hand with anything don't hesitate in asking us, we're always happy to help! ?
  9. Speaking of lists... Shouting "allahu akbar" is probably not a good idea either.
  10. Team fucking Rocket. ^_^
  11. (Been waiting for this one)... Meowth! That's right~!
  12. ... Across the internet.

    ^, < and V game.

^ Kind of. It's on contract which I am paying off as quickly as possible. < Got a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge... Which has been mainly used to browse the site, so I can make tweaks to it for other mobile users. It's my first phone in a very long time, as for years I didn't even have a mobile phone. V Plays Pokémon GO.
  14. Mm. Tastes like fish.
  15. Welcome to EcchiDreams, Veratia. If there are any questions you have or need help with anything site related, dont hesitate to contact me. I'll be happy to help. ?
  16. Here's a rather vanilla one... S/he is a dog.

  18. Club Roleplay Advertising Internal Advertising Services Terms and Conditions These terms and conditions pertain to the Club Roleplay Advertising service which is open to all active Dreamers on EcchiDreams. These terms and conditions do not supersede the Terms of Service for EcchiDreams. Table of Contents:- Acceptance of Terms Disclaimer Fees and Payment Prohibited Club Adverts Our Responsibilities and Obligations Service Banning Acceptance of Terms EcchiDreams is providing an internal advertising service to all of its members and visitors under the terms and conditions, outlined here. Placing a Club Roleplay Advert implies acceptance of these terms and conditions. These terms can be changed at any time with or without direct notification to the users, so it is recommended that you check these terms and conditions document every so often. We will always put the date that the terms and conditions were last updated at the top of the document, under the title. All users of the service are bound by these terms regardless of rank. These rules only apply to the Club Roleplay Advertising section. You agree that you understand all of these terms and by submitting an advert you agree to all terms in these Terms and Conditions. Disclaimer It is not our responsibility to make your advert look good. Click through rates, and signups to your roleplay club are not guaranteed. Getting a return on this investment is not guaranteed or implied. There are NO hidden costs or clauses in these Terms and Conditions and they are displayed at normal sized font, to not discourage people from reading. Cards that show the club’s information will be displayed on the homepage as well as in various areas on the site and is visible to all Dreamers regardless of premium membership status. Adverts will be on a random rotation with other adverts, including filler adverts, which changes per page reload. Advertising a club does not equal endorsement from EcchiDreams over its content. Fees and Payment The current cost for advertising as of the 30th August 2022 is: 2,500 EcchiCredits per four (4) weeks of advertising or, 30,000 EcchiCredits per year of advertising (7.6923% discount) We do not accept any other currency such as, but not limited to, any “legal tender”, physical currency or cryptocurrency as per the Terms of Service. You must have these EcchiCredits “On Hand” and out of your bank account. Payment will be taken upon the advert’s approval. Adverts are not refundable, in most cases - if the site has any down time, you will have that time (doubled) as an extension to your advert; for example if the site is down for a day, your advert will be extended by two days, one for the time lost, the other as compensation, you can keep an eye on our downtime for transparency reasons by clicking here. The exception to this is adverts that are booked in advance (and not yet active) can be cancelled and a refund can be issued. Prohibited Club Adverts We do not allow certain types of roleplay clubs from being advertised, and your advert will be rejected if your club violates any part of this section. Clubs that violate the Terms of Service in any part. Private Clubs; clubs that are set to private. Non-Roleplay Clubs; such as community clubs, fan clubs and so on. Clubs in which the title, icon and cover falsely advertises the content or lies by omission. Clubs whose primary focus is extreme sexual content; such as but not limited to, roleplays involving adolescents or younger, rape, incest, beastiality, gore, vore, scat, necrophilic acts and so on is not permitted. Clubs whose primary focus is on extreme political views such as, but not limited to, Nazism, Communism or racial supremacy and so on are not permitted. Clubs whose primary focus is not roleplaying within that club. Please note that this list is not exhaustive, and is open to constant review. We reserve the right to say no to any content that is deemed not advertiser friendly, but you will be told why and likely the terms and conditions will be updated. Our Responsibilities and Obligations Staff moderate each advert that goes up; to make sure it complies with the Terms of Service of EcchiDreams and the Terms and Conditions of the Club Roleplay Adverts. We have an obligation to view all complaints about topics relating to said adverts, however that said we firmly believe in the right to free expression. As long as nothing violates the Terms of Service and the advert doesn't violate the Terms and Conditions. Complaints about adverts can be made in EcchiTexts to a Community Administrator, we reserve the right to forward complaints with our findings to the Advert Owner, with personal information and names redacted. Your advert will be on a random rotation with other adverts, including filler adverts for the duration, this is random per page change or refresh. We will not show preference in impressions, and as far as we're concerned all adverts will be displayed equally regardless of Dreamer activity, premium membership status or what is being advertised. Service Banning We reserve the right to ban any user or club from this service (Not from the website) for violating the terms and conditions. For example if the entire club changes after approval to one that violates the terms and conditions, the club ID and the user may be banned. If there is an advert in progress, it will be stopped and a refund (either in part, or in whole) will not be guaranteed.
  19. Welcome to EcchiDreams, AmeliaColt.
  20. Thank you for your kind feedback. Our team has worked hard this past year, and unfortunately haven't had much time to post on the site due to all the updates. So for me at least I'm glad you seem to like it. :)
  21. Hello, and welcome to EcchiDreams. You should have received an introduction message from @Ecchia which hopefully will give you some ideas. What kind of manga do you like? Is there a specific genre that you're drawn to? (excuse the pun)
  22. Furry Roleplay Requests Megatopic This furry club is a fan club however it seems quite a few people think it's a roleplay club which is an understandable mistake. Due to the number of furry roleplay requests and the such like, I decided to make a pinned megatopic for such requests. Post links to your roleplayer preferences and private roleplays - or if you have a furry themed club roleplay feel free to advertise it here. Keep with the EcchiDreams Terms of Service though.
  23. EcchiDreams Privacy Policy Last updated: 11th June 2026 This Privacy Policy explains what personal information EcchiDreams collects, why we collect it, how we use it, when it may be shared, how long we keep it, and what rights members have over their information. EcchiDreams is an adults-only online roleplaying and community platform. Because the community is adult-oriented, some members may choose to provide or publish sensitive information, including adult roleplay preferences, fictional sexual themes, limits, sexuality, or other information connected to their use of the site. This policy explains how that information is handled. This policy applies to EcchiDreams, including the website, member accounts, profiles, forum posts, roleplays, EcchiTexts, galleries, clubs/groups, status updates, reactions, reports, moderation systems, account tools, and other community features. 1. Who we are EcchiDreams is operated under the ProperTidy Co name by the EcchiDreams administration team. In this Privacy Policy, “EcchiDreams”, “we”, “us”, and “our” mean the operators of the EcchiDreams website and community. EcchiDreams is operated from the United Kingdom. Our hosting infrastructure may be located outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States. This means personal information may be stored or processed in countries with different data protection laws. Privacy and account-related requests are explained in the “Data exports and privacy requests” section below. 2. About EcchiDreams EcchiDreams is an adults-only play-by-post roleplaying and community platform. Visitors may register one account, subject to EcchiDreams’ Terms of Service, registration checks, and age requirements. Members can use that account to create profiles, forum posts, roleplays, EcchiTexts, groups/clubs, gallery content, status updates, reactions, comments, and other user-submitted content. EcchiDreams is intended for adults only. We require members to provide their date of birth during registration and we do not knowingly allow anyone under 18 to use the community. Guests may be able to view some public or guest-visible areas of EcchiDreams, including some adult content. Search engines may index content that is visible to guests. Members are encouraged to use pseudonyms and not to use their real names. EcchiDreams does not require members to provide their real name, physical address, financial information, identity documents, or payment details. 3. Not-for-profit operation EcchiDreams is operated on a not-for-profit basis. We do not sell memberships, process payments, collect financial information, accept donations through the site, or sell members’ personal information. EcchiDreams may display advertising. Any advertising revenue generated by EcchiDreams is minimal and is used toward the cost of operating the site. 4. Information we collect We collect information needed to operate EcchiDreams, provide community features, protect the site, moderate the community, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations. We may also collect information that members choose to provide when using optional profile, roleplay, messaging, gallery, or community features. The information we collect may include the following. Account information When a member registers or uses EcchiDreams, we may collect and store account information such as: username and display name; email address; password, stored in hashed form rather than plain text; date of birth; registration date; account settings and preferences; notification preferences; account status, such as active, deactivated, restricted, banned, or awaiting approval. Members must confirm their email address before using the community. Technical and security information When someone visits or uses EcchiDreams, our systems may collect technical information such as: IP address; browser and device information; user agent; login and logout information; failed login attempts; session information; pages accessed; security and access logs; information used to detect spam, abuse, automated registrations, or ban-evasion. This information is used to operate the site, keep accounts secure, investigate abuse, prevent spam, and protect the community. Profile and community information Members may choose to provide information through their profiles, posts, roleplays, EcchiTexts, clubs/groups, galleries, status updates, reactions, comments, and other community features. This may include: profile fields; avatars and images; signatures; roleplay preferences; roleplay limits; sex; sexuality; fictional characters; adult themes; user-submitted posts and messages; reports, appeals, and moderation-related communications. Some profile and preference fields are optional. Members can edit or remove many of these fields themselves while their account remains active. Sensitive and adult information EcchiDreams is an adult community. Members may voluntarily provide information about sex, sexuality, adult roleplay preferences, fictional sexual themes, limits, or other sensitive topics. We do not require members to use their real names, and we encourage pseudonymous participation. We do not require members to provide sexual information in order to register. Where members choose to provide adult or sensitive information, we process it only as needed to provide the community, display member-submitted content, operate profile and roleplay preference tools, support member interaction, moderate the site, investigate reports, protect users and staff, enforce our rules, and comply with legal obligations. Members should not publish personal information that they do not want other members, guests, search engines, or third parties to see, depending on where the information is posted and who can access that area of the site. 5. How we use personal information We use personal information to operate EcchiDreams and provide the community features members use. This may include using information to: create and manage member accounts; verify email addresses; confirm that members meet the minimum age requirement; allow members to create profiles, posts, roleplays, EcchiTexts, galleries, clubs/groups, status updates, reactions, and other community content; display member-submitted content to other members, guests, or search engines where that content is posted in visible areas; send account, security, notification, moderation, and service-related messages; remember account settings and notification preferences; process reports, appeals, warnings, restrictions, bans, and other moderation actions; investigate spam, abuse, harassment, threats, exploitation, doxxing, blackmail, ban-evasion, underage-access, or other rule-breaking; protect members, staff, and the community; secure the website and detect suspicious or automated activity; prevent spam registrations and malicious use of the site; maintain backups and restore the site if needed; understand how the community is used through built-in statistics and analytics; display advertising; comply with legal obligations or respond to lawful requests; establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. We do not sell members’ personal information. 6. Lawful bases for using information We process personal information only where we have a lawful basis to do so. Depending on the situation, we may rely on one or more of the following lawful bases. Contract We process information where it is necessary to provide the EcchiDreams service to members. This includes account registration, login, profile features, posting, roleplaying, EcchiTexts, notifications, account tools, and other community features. Legitimate interests We process information where it is necessary for the legitimate interests of EcchiDreams, our members, staff, or the wider community, provided those interests are not overridden by a member’s rights and freedoms. This includes site security, moderation, abuse prevention, spam prevention, ban-evasion prevention, underage-access prevention, community safety, service maintenance, backups, debugging, and protecting EcchiDreams from misuse. Consent We may rely on consent where members choose to provide optional information or enable optional features. This may include optional profile fields, roleplay preferences, sexuality information, certain notification settings, cookies or similar technologies where consent is required, and other optional community features. Where we rely on consent, members may withdraw that consent where technically possible and legally applicable. For example, members can edit or remove many optional profile fields while their account is active. Legal obligation We may process or retain information where required to comply with legal obligations, lawful requests, court orders, regulatory requirements, or other legal duties. Legal claims and safety We may retain and use information where necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims, preserve evidence, investigate serious abuse, protect users or staff, or enforce site rules. Special category information Because EcchiDreams is an adult community, some information members choose to provide may relate to sex life, sexuality, adult roleplay preferences, limits, or other sensitive topics. Where this information falls under special category data, we process it only where a relevant special category condition applies. Depending on the situation, this may include explicit consent where members voluntarily provide optional profile or preference information, processing information the member has chosen to submit or make visible through community features, or processing necessary for legal claims, safety, moderation, abuse prevention, or legal compliance. Members can edit or remove many optional profile and preference fields while their account remains active. 7. EcchiTexts, roleplays, and reports EcchiTexts are EcchiDreams’ direct/group messaging and private roleplay system. They are stored on EcchiDreams systems. EcchiTexts and private roleplays are not routinely monitored by staff. However, they are not guaranteed to be completely private. Participants may report EcchiTexts or private roleplays to staff. When this happens, authorised EcchiDreams staff may review the reported content through the Report Centre. Authorised staff may also access relevant EcchiTexts, roleplays, or account information where necessary for moderation, safety, security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, technical maintenance, or evidence preservation. Where necessary, relevant excerpts from reported EcchiTexts, roleplays, or other content may be copied into moderation records. This is done to preserve evidence, investigate reports, enforce rules, handle appeals, protect members or staff, or defend against abuse or legal claims. If one participant deactivates, leaves EcchiDreams, or leaves an EcchiText conversation, the EcchiText or roleplay may remain visible or available to the other participant(s). If all participants leave or delete an EcchiText conversation, the conversation and its messages are deleted from the active database. However, relevant excerpts may still be retained in moderation records where the conversation was reported or used as evidence, and deleted content may remain temporarily in backups until those backups are replaced. Members should not use EcchiTexts to share information they would not want another participant to report, copy, preserve, or disclose. Like any messaging system, recipients may be able to copy, screenshot, report, or otherwise preserve messages they receive. 8. Moderation, safety, and abuse prevention EcchiDreams uses moderation records to protect the community and enforce the Terms of Service, rules, and staff decisions. Moderation records may include: reports submitted by members; reported content; staff notes; warning points; restrictions; bans; appeals; evidence of spam or abuse; IP addresses, email addresses, usernames, display names, and registration information; relevant EcchiText excerpts or links where content has been reported; records relating to underage-access, ban-evasion, harassment, threats, exploitation, doxxing, blackmail, or other serious misconduct. Moderation records are retained where necessary for community safety, rule enforcement, ban-evasion prevention, underage-access prevention, staff accountability, evidence preservation, legal compliance, or legal claims. Banned accounts are not routinely deleted. We retain banned-account records to enforce bans, prevent evasion, preserve moderation history, protect members and staff, and defend EcchiDreams against abuse or legal claims. Accounts found or believed to belong to underage users may be handled through the moderation and retention process described in Section 16. 9. Cookies and similar technologies EcchiDreams uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, keep members logged in, remember settings, protect accounts, prevent spam, provide community features, display advertising, measure site use, and support embedded third-party content. Cookies may be used for: login sessions; account security; remembering preferences; notification and account settings; spam and abuse prevention; analytics and statistics; advertising; embedded third-party media or widgets; technical operation of the site. Some cookies are necessary for EcchiDreams to function. Without cookies, members may not be able to log in, stay logged in, use account tools, post content, send EcchiTexts, or use other community features. EcchiDreams currently uses forum software that does not provide fine-grained category-by-category cookie controls. This means we may not be able to offer separate controls for every type of cookie or third-party technology. Members and guests can manage or block cookies using their browser settings, but doing so may affect how the site works. Some third-party services used by EcchiDreams may set their own cookies or use similar technologies. These third-party technologies are controlled by those providers, not by EcchiDreams, and are subject to their own privacy and cookie policies. 10. Analytics and community statistics EcchiDreams uses built-in community statistics provided by the forum software. These statistics help us understand how the community is used, maintain the site, identify technical problems, and manage community activity. EcchiDreams also uses Google Analytics 4 through the forum software. Google Analytics may collect technical and usage information such as pages visited, approximate location, browser information, device information, and interactions with the site. Google Analytics is provided by Google. Google’s use of data is governed by Google’s own privacy policies and settings. Google may provide its own opt-out tools or browser add-ons, but those tools are external to EcchiDreams and are controlled by Google. 11. Advertising EcchiDreams may display advertising through AADS using the forum software’s internal advertising system. When adverts are loaded, AADS or related advertising technology may receive technical information such as IP address, browser/device information, page information, and ad request information. AADS may use cookies, JavaScript, web beacons, tracking URLs, or similar technologies according to its own privacy policy. Advertising revenue from EcchiDreams is minimal and is used toward the cost of operating the site. We do not sell members’ personal information to advertisers. 12. Embedded third-party content Members may be able to post or view embedded third-party content, such as videos, audio players, social media posts, rich embeds, or widgets. This may include services such as YouTube, SoundCloud, Twitter/X, Discord, or similar providers. Embedded third-party content may behave as if the member or guest visited the third-party service directly. These providers may collect technical information, set cookies, track interactions, or associate activity with an account on their own service if the user is logged into that service. EcchiDreams does not control the privacy practices of embedded third-party services. Members should review the privacy policies and settings of those services if they are concerned about how those providers process information. 13. Anti-spam, anti-abuse, and security services EcchiDreams uses anti-spam, anti-abuse, and security tools to protect the community. These may include: Google invisible reCAPTCHA; Invision Community / IPS Spam Defense; Stop Forum Spam; Project Honeypot; server-side security and access logs; built-in moderation and account security tools. These services may process information such as IP address, email address, username, registration information, browser/device information, spam scores, and other technical or abuse-prevention signals. We use these services to detect automated registrations, spam, malicious activity, ban-evasion, suspicious logins, and other abuse. Where necessary, EcchiDreams may share limited information with trusted anti-spam or abuse-prevention services. This may include display name, username, email address, IP address, registration information, spam evidence, or other relevant abuse-prevention information. We do not share this information casually. It is used to protect EcchiDreams, other communities, members, staff, and the wider internet from spam and abuse. These systems may affect whether an account is approved automatically, placed into manual review, restricted, or blocked. Where a registration, account, post, or activity is flagged, EcchiDreams staff may manually review the account or activity and make a decision based on the information available. 14. Who we share information with EcchiDreams does not sell members’ personal information. We may share or make information available where necessary to operate, secure, moderate, or maintain the site. This may include sharing information with: hosting and server providers; software providers, including Invision Community / IPS; anti-spam and abuse-prevention services; Google Analytics; Google reCAPTCHA; AADS; embedded content providers when members or guests load third-party embeds; email and server systems used to send account or notification messages; authorised EcchiDreams staff; external technical support contractors, where strictly necessary and authorised; law enforcement, regulators, courts, or legal advisers where legally required or necessary. External technical support contractors do not have routine access to EcchiDreams member data. Where technical access is required, it is limited to what is necessary for support, maintenance, security, or troubleshooting. Authorised EcchiDreams staff may access personal information only where needed for community administration, moderation, safety, security, technical operation, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or other legitimate site purposes. 15. International processing EcchiDreams is operated from the United Kingdom, but our hosting infrastructure may be located outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States. Some third-party services used by EcchiDreams may also process information outside the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area. This may include hosting, analytics, advertising, anti-spam, security, and embedded-content providers. Where we use third-party services, their handling of information may be governed by their own privacy policies, legal terms, and transfer arrangements. Members should be aware that their information may be processed in countries with different data protection laws from their own. 16. How long we keep information We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, including operating EcchiDreams, providing community features, protecting the site, moderating the community, preventing abuse, complying with legal obligations, and preserving evidence where necessary. Different types of information may be kept for different periods. Active accounts Account information is normally kept for as long as the account remains active. This includes information such as username, display name, email address, date of birth, account settings, profile fields, notification settings, posts, roleplays, EcchiTexts, reports, moderation history, login history, and security information. Community content Posts, roleplays, comments, gallery content, status updates, reactions, clubs/groups content, and other user-submitted content may remain available after it is submitted, unless removed by the member where tools allow, removed by staff, hidden, deleted, anonymised, or otherwise restricted. Where content is visible to guests, it may also be indexed by search engines or preserved by third parties outside EcchiDreams’ control. EcchiTexts and private roleplays EcchiTexts and private roleplays may remain stored on EcchiDreams systems while needed to provide the service, preserve conversations for participants, investigate reports, enforce rules, prevent abuse, or retain relevant evidence. If one participant deactivates, leaves EcchiDreams, or leaves an EcchiText conversation, the EcchiText or roleplay may remain visible or available to the other participant(s). If all participants leave or delete an EcchiText conversation, the conversation and its messages are deleted from the active database. However, reported EcchiTexts and private roleplays, and relevant excerpts from them, may be retained in moderation records where necessary. Deleted content may also remain temporarily in backups until those backups are replaced. Moderation and safety records Moderation records may be kept for the lifetime of an account and, where necessary, for longer. This includes reports, warnings, restrictions, bans, staff notes, appeals, evidence, underage-access records, ban-evasion records, and records relating to harassment, threats, exploitation, doxxing, blackmail, spam, abuse, or other serious misconduct. We retain this information to protect the community, enforce rules, prevent repeat abuse, preserve evidence, protect members and staff, and defend EcchiDreams against abuse or legal claims. Banned accounts Banned accounts are not routinely deleted. We retain banned-account information where necessary to enforce bans, prevent ban-evasion, preserve moderation history, protect members and staff, investigate abuse, and defend EcchiDreams against legal or safety issues. Underage users EcchiDreams is for adults only. If we discover or reasonably believe that an account belongs to someone under 18, we may ban the account, hide it from ordinary users, restrict access, remove or hide content, and retain relevant information in a restricted form. This may include email address, IP address, username, account information, moderation notes, reports, and other evidence needed to prevent re-registration and protect the adult-only nature of the site. If someone believes that an under-18 person has created an account or submitted information to EcchiDreams, they should contact us through the contact form. Server logs EcchiDreams and its hosting environment may generate server, access, security, mail, and error logs. Routine access logs are normally rotated or overwritten according to server and hosting configuration. Current server settings indicate that archived raw access logs may be retained for a limited period and should not normally exceed approximately 180 days unless connected to a specific security, abuse, moderation, technical, or legal issue. Logs connected to abuse, security incidents, moderation, ban-evasion, legal issues, or technical investigations may be retained for longer where necessary. Backups EcchiDreams keeps rolling backups for disaster recovery. At present, backups are normally retained for up to approximately 60 days, with older backups replaced by newer backups. If information is deleted or changed on the live site, it may remain in backups until those backups are replaced. Backups are not used for ordinary access and would only be restored where necessary for disaster recovery, security, technical recovery, or serious operational reasons. 17. Account deactivation, deletion, and anonymisation Members may stop using EcchiDreams at any time. How account closure is handled depends on the account’s history, activity, moderation status, and the information involved. Accounts with no posts or meaningful activity If an account has not posted, participated, or meaningfully used the community, EcchiDreams may be able to fully delete the account and associated information. This is normally available only where the account has no meaningful community, moderation, safety, or abuse-prevention history. Accounts that have participated in the community Once an account has posted, sent EcchiTexts, joined roleplays, interacted with other members, received moderation actions, submitted reports, or otherwise participated in the community, full deletion may not always be possible or appropriate. In those cases, EcchiDreams may instead deactivate, restrict, anonymise, remove profile information, hide information, or retain information on a case-by-case basis. We may retain information where necessary for: community continuity; roleplay and conversation continuity; moderation history; report handling; staff accountability; safety; abuse prevention; spam prevention; ban-evasion prevention; underage-access prevention; legal compliance; evidence preservation; legal claims. Deactivation does not necessarily remove a member’s display name, profile information, past content, EcchiTexts, reports, moderation records, or account history. Members can edit or remove many profile fields themselves while their account remains active. If a member wants to remove optional profile information before leaving, they should do so before requesting deactivation, where possible. In some cases, EcchiDreams may anonymise names, remove profile information, hide content, or take other steps where appropriate and technically possible. Public and guest-visible content Content posted in public or guest-visible areas may remain visible after account deactivation or closure unless removed, hidden, or anonymised. Search engines, archives, screenshots, other members, or third parties may preserve copies of content that was visible to them. EcchiDreams cannot control copies made outside our systems. Requests for erasure Members may request deletion, erasure, anonymisation, or restriction of personal information. We will review such requests case by case. The right to erasure is not absolute. We may refuse or limit deletion where we need to retain information for moderation, safety, community integrity, abuse prevention, ban-evasion prevention, underage-access prevention, legal obligations, evidence preservation, or legal claims. Where we cannot fully delete information, we may consider deactivation, restriction, anonymisation, removal of profile fields, or other appropriate measures. 18. Data exports and privacy requests Logged-in members may use the built-in “Request PII Data” tool from their account security/privacy settings, where available. When a member requests a copy of their personal information through this tool, the request may be reviewed by a community administrator. Once processed, the member will be notified when the export is ready to download. Privacy, data access, correction, deletion, restriction, account, and other privacy-related requests can also be made through the EcchiDreams contact form: https://ecchidreams.com/contact We may need to verify that a request comes from the account holder before providing information, exporting data, changing account information, deactivating an account, or deleting information. This is to protect members from unauthorised access to their accounts or personal information. We will not provide personal information about accounts you do not own, other members, staff, reports made by other users, internal moderation discussions, or third-party information unless required by law or clearly appropriate in the circumstances. We may also refuse, limit, or redact information where disclosure would compromise site security, operational security, anti-abuse systems, staff safety, moderation integrity, legal obligations, or the privacy and safety of other people. We will try to respond to privacy requests within a reasonable time. Some requests may take longer if they are complex, involve moderation records, involve EcchiTexts or reports, require technical review, or require us to balance privacy rights against community safety, legal obligations, or abuse-prevention needs. 19. Security We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect EcchiDreams and the personal information stored on it. This includes measures such as account passwords being stored in hashed form rather than plain text, access controls for staff tools, moderation controls, server security measures, anti-spam systems, backups, and monitoring for abuse or suspicious activity. No website, server, software platform, or online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Members are responsible for keeping their own account credentials safe, using a strong and unique password, keeping their email account secure, and contacting EcchiDreams if they believe their account has been compromised. If we become aware of a serious security issue affecting member information, we will take appropriate steps to investigate, reduce harm, secure the site, and notify affected members or authorities where legally required. 20. Member responsibilities Members are responsible for the information they choose to submit, publish, send, or share on EcchiDreams. Members should not post personal information that they do not want others to see, copy, report, archive, screenshot, index, or preserve. This is especially important for guest-visible areas, public posts, profile information, gallery content, roleplay preferences, EcchiTexts, and any content shared with other members. Members should not submit personal information about other people unless they have a lawful and appropriate reason to do so. Members should not use EcchiDreams to publish doxxing, threats, blackmail, exploitation, non-consensual personal information, or other content that violates the Terms of Service or site rules. 21. Your rights Depending on where you live and the circumstances involved, you may have rights over your personal information. These may include the right to: request a copy of personal information we hold about you; ask us to correct inaccurate information; ask us to delete or erase information; ask us to restrict how information is used; object to certain uses of information; request a portable copy of certain information; withdraw consent where we rely on consent; complain to a data protection authority. These rights are not absolute. Some requests may be refused, limited, or handled differently where EcchiDreams needs to retain information for moderation, safety, abuse prevention, ban-evasion prevention, underage-access prevention, legal obligations, evidence preservation, community integrity, or legal claims. If we refuse or limit a request, we will explain why unless we are legally prevented from doing so. 22. Third-party websites and services EcchiDreams may contain links, embeds, advertisements, or references to third-party websites and services. Those services are not operated by EcchiDreams, and their privacy practices, security, content, cookies, and policies are their own responsibility. Members and guests should review the privacy policies and settings of third-party services they use or interact with. 23. Changes to this Privacy Policy We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we may update the “Last updated” date at the top of the policy. For significant changes, we may also provide additional notice through the website, announcements, account notifications, email, or other appropriate methods. Continued use of EcchiDreams after changes take effect means the updated policy applies to future use of the site. 24. Complaints If you are unhappy with how EcchiDreams handles your personal information, please contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue. Where UK data protection law applies, you may also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
