  1. I'm the same, here. Literally none of my characters were made with lewding being the main focus. That is just interesting side stuff. Like this tournament. I don't think it's a good idea to over complicate things, especially as it isn't the main focus of this group. My thoughts, which I shared with Jenny earlier (not in this thread), is that ultimately it's going to have to be up to Jenny to keep drama down, and to keep things fair. I don't think a player should have more than one judge at a match, and they certainly shouldn't judge for another of their characters (I believe that point was already bought up, but it's so good it bares repeating). Generally, players might be happier if they're allowed to judge how they wish, however Jenny should always be prepared to step in if they feel like someone is being unfair, or trying to rate another character down to give their own an edge over others. As long as everyone is acting fair and reasonable, I can't imagine any real problems coming up.
  2. Location: Just south of Shangul, along the river. A figure remained still, hidden among the foliage as they watched a group of riders galloping past. They held their breath subconsciously, as if worried that their breath could be heard. They watched as the riders continued onward away from the city, until they were out of sight and they could no longer hear the footfalls of the horses. Below the face mask, Claire smiled in triumph as they had completely missed her. Clutching her bag of ill-gotten gains closer, she straightened and began to move along the river. She kept to the shadows of the trees, as she didn’t want anyone to spot her, as she went to fetch her horse that she had hidden away so that she could move easily among the foliage to prevent being spotted. The highway patrol were so stupid and predictable. Robbing that carriage had been childs play. It wasn’t about the money, either, as it was something she had plenty of. She did it for the excitement and thrill of it. @JennyDK
  3. Shangul City Shangul is the Capital City in Talvania, the centre of the government that rules over the country. It is the centre of business, commerce, government and the military. It is large and sprawling with wide streets to accomidate the horse carriages that are commonly seen moving between the tall stone and wooden buildings. If you're lucky, and stray into the wealthier parts of the city, you may get a glimpse of some of the new wonders such as vehicles. The City Centre looks impressive and seems to give an image of wealth and elegance. However in the poorer districts, crowded wooden homes are the norms with little food, and poor sanitation. Crime is rife in these areas, and it is unwise to flash your wealth, unless you wish to attract the eyes of criminals. So those who wish to talk the streets of Shangul, beware. All kinds of dangers lurk within its shadows, and not all of them are obvious. Relevant Links: Extra Information Character ID Out of Character
  4. Location: Guest bedroom, Bear’s gun shop It seems Victor’s hopes for a quiet night were in vain, as he jerked awake to the sensation of Fenni licking his face, something he commonly did when Victor was having a nightmare. He reassured Fenni by petting the animal on the head. It took him a few moments to get his bearings, as he gazed out through the gap in the shutters and saw that it was pre-dawn. A good time to wake up. He quietly climbed out of the bed, dressing himself before he checked his bag to ensure that he had everything. He glanced at Fenni, causing the animal to quietly jump down from the bed and followed Victor as he opened up the bedroom door, trying to make as little sound as possible, before slipping out and heading down the stairs in the darkness, using his memory to guide him out of the back door. In the pre-dawn darkness, he moved around the shop to where Cherry was waiting for him. He saddled her before untying her from the railing and climbing into the saddle. He then gently turned her and began to walk her out of the town with Fenni trotting happily beside the two of them. He just hoped that his exit had not disturbed his hosts.

  6. From the album: Neptune's Characters

Character Identity Information Name: Claire Jackson Date of Birth/Age: 4th April, 1869 (21 years old) Gender: Female, but will often pose as a male. Religion: None. Species: Human Origin: Shangul, Talvania Nationality: Talvanian Occupation: Unemployed, officially Physical Appearance Height: 170cm (5’6”) Weight: 54kg (119lbs) Eye Colour: Blue Hair Colour: Blonde Physical Description: Claire is slightly taller than the average woman, and is quite slender with narrow hips and moderately sized breasts. She has her hair long, and when dressed as a woman, typically elaborately curled and styled. In terms of clothing, she tends to wear expensive dresses that are well made and stylish. However she does have a few scrappier looking dresses that she will clothe herself in when she needs to disguise herself. However when doing shadier activities, she will dress herself like a man, ranging from richly dressed, to that of a pauper. She will always wear a hat, hiding her hair from view. She will also wrap cloth around her bust to flatten it as much as possible. Her favourite persona is that of a highway robber, as she wears a piece of cloth around her lower face as a mask, only showing her eyes. Personality, Traits and Abilities General Overview: When showing herself as a well dressed lady, she acts quite contrite, shy and soft spoken. She will be well mannered, and will seem considerate of others. But at the very core, she is quite manipulative and selfish, always doing things for selfish means. She sees most people as a means to an end, however she can form meaningful relationships with others if she feels that they are worthy enough for her affection. Strengths, Skills and Abilities: Acting: She is quite skilled at being able to hide her real intentions and personality from others by wrapping herself in a new persona. She puts herself fully into the roll, making it hard to peel back the layers and to see her real self. Marksmanship: Claire is quite skilled with a wide range of gun types from simple pistols to rifles and shotguns. She has a keen eye and is a sharp shooter, making her quite formidable to come up against. Equestrian skills: Claire is quite good at being able to ride a wide range of horses. Survival: She has basic survival skills, allowing her to survive in the wilderness. She is able to make a camp, trap and hunt food and cook it. She also has reasonable tracking skills. Weaknesses: Despite the fact that disguises herself as a man, she is not and thus she is weaker physically speaking. So someone with greater physical strength is able to easily overpower her. She is also not as good at close combat than she is at ranged combat, so she prefers to keep her distance in a fight, preferring the use of a gun over a melee weapon. Ambitions (Hopes/Dreams): To become an infamous highway robber. Hobbies and Interests: Her real hobbies and interests are hard to pin down as she makes herself appear to enjoy whatever hobby would suit her disguise. But she absolutely loves creating new personas, and she greatly enjoys her criminal activities. Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual Extra Information Father: William Baker Mother: Mary Baker Siblings: Henry Baker (Older brother) Weapons: Various. She doesn’t keep a weapon for long if she can help it, and often purchases them off of the black market. History Awards/Commendations: None. Criminal Record: Clean, but that’s only because she has never been caught for her crimes. Medical Record: She has been quite healthy her entire life. Bio: Claire was born and raised in Shangul, to her rich businessman father. As such, she had no wants for basic needs while growing up. They paid for her education but she often found it quite boring. The lessons held no interest to her, and she would frequently wither skip class or mess around. About the only classes she didn’t skip were her horseriding lessons, and even then, she often refused to ride ‘as a lady should’. As she moved on into her teenage years, she would sneak out into the town, using various disguises to hide her identity. Her favourite thing to do, was to pretend to be a young lad, where she was able to learn skills from the more criminal underbelly. As she came towards adulthood, her father forced her into a marriage sht at she did not want. So she was married at the age of 18 to a much older gentlemen by the name of Charles Jackson, someone whom owned several very profitable businesses. Claire was not happy with the marriage, but pretended to play the part of a doting wife. Especially when he mysteriously became ill when she was twenty, eventually succumbing to the illness. She was not that upset, however she looked the part of a grieving widow but she took control of his businesses and used them for her own gain. She used her manipulation abilities to manipulate the board of directors with her ex-husbands company to expand the business to generate more money for herself. With them running the show, and reaping the benefits, she was free to engage in whatever activities she wished. Her favourite thing to do was to pose as a male highway robber.
  7. That sounds reasonable to me. I'm looking forward to this event. I'm a little too busy to help with the mock fights at the moment I'm afraid, but I definitely plan on throwing Kayla into this event as a participent (she the only student I have that is suitable) and I'm happy for Luanna to be a judge.
  8. Keiron liked the cut of her jib, and he had to resist the urge to wag his tail to show just how pleased he was to hear her talk about making the human and human lovers regret co-existing. He nodded his head back at her in a respectful manner and said, "And good luck to you." He watched as her body sank into the shadows, causing her to disappear from view. He glanced once more around the room before he left the room on silent footsteps, to explore the city.
  9. Keiron nodded his head, "Alright. I'll leave that in your hands. You seem to know what you're doing. I've never been near the school. I won't be any help at all." He said, as he knew he would be going on there completely blind. He stood up on all fours and stated, "You go and do that, and I'll explore the city and become familiar with it so hopefully I can find my way around in the future. Agreed?"
  10. Location: Hermitage. Once his friend was ready, Daedrin led his companion out from the stable before settling himself in the saddle. He then nudged the huge aelda forwards, leading the way out of the town and on the road back towards Selil at a rolling canter. After the exciting night, it was nice to be back on the road. However when his friend came forward with a warning, he glanced around, opening his mind to everything around them but currently couldn’t sense anything, “Alright. I’ll keep alert.” He assured Izanagi before riding on throughout the day. Towards the evening, he slowed Daegrin as he said, “We should set up camp for the night.” He pulled the huge animal off of the road towards a small wooded area. He dismounted and set about setting up the camp, making the fire and rolling out his bedroll. He then set about starting a stew with the dried meat that they had brought with them. Daedrin was glad that they were soon going to be arriving back to Selil, so that he could sleep in his own bed and hold his wife close. Location: North-east of Kalath, en-route to Enutpen’s Glory Rayvenne shrugged the apology away, “I didn’t think of suggesting that he be left behind, either. So the fault is not entirely your own.” She told the bunny girl, looking over at Maedoc as the stallion pawed at the ground before he swung his head around to chew on a patch of grass. She then turned to look back at Luna, “I would rather not put Lucky at any kind of risk. Dragons can be tricky to find, so we don’t know how long we’re going to be up in the mountains for. We could be lucky and find one within a few days, or be unlucky and spend weeks travelling through the mountains to find one. So whether you put him to sleep, or lock him in the wagon, he will be at risk. The safest thing for us to do, is to quickly turn back and leave him at Kalath. At least you can be assured that there will be someone looking after him.” She picked up another slim stick, snapping it in half and throwing it into the fire, watching as the fire flared for a moment, the fresh wood cracking and popping for a moment before it settled and burned as merrily as the rest of the firewood before she asked, “Do you have some kind of spell that would put Lucky into a magical stasis or some kind? That might be a good alternative.” She looked back up and over at Luna.
  11. "It would be, although I imagine communication stones would be relatively guarded. Still. I would think they would be easy to get. It seems to me that being around humans has made monsters far too... complacent. Where will such stones be lying around? The school? Or are you going to have to return to the monster realm to get our hands on them?" He asked, not pleased with either idea. While he hung around the edges of the city, he was aware of the schools existance a place where monsters could get very cozy with the weak and pathetic humans.
  12. If Keiron could shrug, he would. However the best he could do was shake his canine-like head from side to side for a moment before he said, "I would prefer to avoid using human things." He spat the word human as if he was talking about a particularily unpleasant insect, "If we can get our paws on some communication stones, that might work better to keep in touch." He suggested as an alternative to having to resort to those stupid human made inventions. His only real interest in them was enjoying watching them break, because of how humans seemed so fixated on them.
  13. Keiron shifted slightly, laying down on the floor as he watched with glowing eyes as Jessica moved about the room with a thoughtful look. His head tilted slightly, his ears perking up slightly as she made her suggestion, "Seems reasonable." He agreed, as they needed to know which places that they needed to raid as well as how to, "I'll try and find places as well... while also getting more familiar with the city itself. It's about time I began to learn more about how to move around the inner city, rather than just the edges."
  14. Keiron flicked his tail dismissively when she mentioned about stealing mostly at night. To him, that was obvious. It was darker and they would be able to more effectively hide. The dark was his element, and he doubted that any human would be able to catch him. The eyes of humans were completely useless in the dark and would not be able to see them unless they were right in their face. At her idea of burning the money, he perked up and gave her a wide, sinister grin, "That sounds like a fantastic plan. I am quite fond of fire and burning something these humans are fond of would be... entertaining..."
  15. Keiron grunted, although it sounded more like a growl than a grunt, as he considered her words in response to his question about knowing others. He supposed that the two of them were going to have to find others who shared their sense of fun, and wanted to get back at the human scum that were slowly pacifying the monsters and making them no better than tame dogs. His tail thumped on the floor once before lying still as he stared at her with a red-gaze, "It sounds like a good plan. We can steal what we need if you know the places to go." His wolfish grin was back in full force. After all, the only human money he had on him was the money he had stolen from the guy that Jessica had been fucking with, and he had no intention on using it to buy things from humans.
  16. Keiron padded silently up to her, pausing as he turned his eyes towards the illusion that she had summoned to show him what her thoughts were. He glanced around before he settled back on his haunches, "That sounds advisable. You seem a lot more knowledgeable in planning these kinds of things. Myself? I just like to go around causing trouble." He then glanced back towards her once again, "Do you have any... acquaintance that you know that are as eager to cause trouble as we are?" He asked.
  17. Kayla eagerly accepted the food and conversation that was offered, eager as she was to learn more about her new friend, soaking up every story that was being told. In turn, Kayla told stories of her own childhood and the cliffs that were the home of her people and how they loved to fly around the cliffs and viewed the world from above. Kayla very much enjoyed herself, and she was certainly eager for their upcoming weekend of fun.
  18. Kayla's grin widened even further as one of Malikah's arms wrapped around her, "Awwh, thanks, Malikah! You are, too! I love hanging out with you. You're my new best friend!" She said, her tone laced with excitement as she practically bounced in the goro womans grip, "And that sounds PERFECT! That gives us all weekend to have fun and try many baked treats! I would help you bake but... hehe. Claws aren't very good for cooking." She sounded just as excited as Malikah, and she was grinning from ear to ear, making it very obvious that she was just as happy as her friend about this idea.
  19. (OOC: Absolutely. That way anyone who wants to have a character join this, ah, merry band, can have somewhere that they can hang out :3) In response to her laughter, his upper lip curled up and he let out a soft growling sound that appeared to be an approximation of a laugh. His tail flickered from one side to the other before he stood on all four legs and followed her deeper into the small maze until she revealed the place that she had in mind for their use. He looked around, noting the decay and run down condition. On silent paws, he moved around the room and looking closely at everything before he looked over at her with another of his sinister grins, "It's perfect for what we want. Yes... perfect."
  20. Keiron glanced around the dimly lit tunnels that ran underneath the apartment buildings. It was dim and quiet, just the way he liked things. He then turned and stared at Jessica as she transformed in front of him into her true form. A form that was a lot more appealing on the eyes, in his opinion but then again, humans were not the most attractive to him. He gave her a wolfish smile and said, "And more comfortable I imagine." He looked down at his human-like hands and decided that he would much rather be more comfortable than to keep looking like one of those humans. He shifted, turning into his death dog form and feeling a lot better by the moment. By the time he was finished, he was sat on his hind legs, staring at her with his numerous red glowing eyes, "Hm. Yes, much more comfortable." He commented, his voice taking on a deeper, and seemed to echo. His upper lip then curled up, revealing rows of sharp teeth, "I like this place. It's quite suitable to our needs."
  21. Kayla paused at Malikah's suggestion of strapping a camera onto her as she flew around. The idea had merit! It would certainly help share her joy for flying with her new friend. It would allow Malikah to see the world in a way she had never done so before, a way that Kayla got to experience every time she flew. The world certainly was a different place up high, "That's a good idea! I should definitely do that!" She grinned widely. She resumed shovelling food into her mouth as Malikah continued talking. She swallowed the last of it, licking her claw clean as she said, "That sounds like a really fun time. You can show me your awesome baking skills!" She lowered her claw, resting it on the seat as she licked her lips, "Well, I'm ready to go when you are."
  22. "It is really fun. It lets you be free and wild in a really awesome way. Nothing but you and the sky!" Kayla said with a big grin when the goro woman mentioned that she wished she could fly. It was a shame that Malikah was so tall and muscular, as it made her too heavy for Kayla to carry. Otherwise Kayla would love to show Malikah just how amazing flying was. She continued to munch away at the food on her plate as she listened to the large woman speak. She was surprised by the last two admissions, "You bake? That's so cool! Can I try some of your baked goods sometime!? That would be so awesome!" She practically hoping on the single leg she was balancing on. For the last admission, she commented, "I've never seen a sappy romance before. I've never been huge on watching movies before... but I'm willing to try watching one if they're good." She stuffed more food in her mouth, making very quick work of what lay before her.
  23. Keiron grunted a little at her explination. He had never seen a place like this before in his life. And the humans called them monsters. Humans seemed to always think of themselves better than they were, and yet they allowed for their own kind to suffer in places such as this. He found himself tutting slightly, "A true reflection of humans, then." He remarked. He gave one last look around before he turned and followed Jessica down the outside stairs and into a dim hallway that seemed rather unremarkable. At least the stairs appeared out of the way enough that you would only find them if you know exactly where you wanted to go.
  24. Kayla practically bounced after Malikah towards their table. She giggled at the audible sound of her gurgling stomach, loudly demanding food. She could certainly understand that, her own stomach was complaining petulently as well. Licking her lips eagerly, Kayla hopped up into one of the chairs next to Malikah and looking at the plate full of food. Balancing herself on one of her talons, she used the other to delicately pick up a chicken wing, showing great dexterity in the use of her talons. She was about to take a bite, but paused when her table companion asked a question. She shifted her wings a little, before she said, "Other than sex?" She grinned at her own joke before she added more seriously, "I like doing flying sports. I always jump on any chance to stretch my wings. But I sometimes like to read but I often can't sit still long enough to do more than read for an hour." She laughed at that before asking, "What about you?" She then took a bite of the chicken, humming in delight at the tender meat.
  25. Keiron glanced at Jessica as she explained that there was just as much anonyminity within a crowd. He frowned at that, but he had seen today that her words held a grain of truth as no one seemed to pay any attention to him, even when he walked right in front of their eyes. It was just as easy to hide in that crowd as it was for him to hide in the shadows of the night, "That's true." He responded to her question about not needing to be uncomfortable. After all; they were far superior to the humans. When they arrived at their destination, Keiron looked around with disdain at the state of the buildings and the humans that he was able to spy. The entire place stunk as well, with unpleasant smells that caused him to wrinkle his nose. But he saw the appeal of the place. It was a good place to hide in. He doubted the other humans cared enough to really look too deep into this location, especially for the likes of them. He glanced around a little more before he looked back at Jessica, "What a shit hole... how perfect for our needs." He said.
