Blackberry Café (OOC)
Angela Daring replied to Neptune's topic in Blackberry Falls's Roleplaying Topics
Fair enough. To be honest, I should have put more thought into this character before writing up a profile for her. I just got excited about the idea of her moving to this town and coming to the idea of opening a brothel, so I just brought something up quickly in my head. That's kind of why I tend to avoid RPs that require extensive profiles because sometimes I like to just take an idea and run with it, but I still want to RP here, so I'll put some effort into my character in the morning. (it's 1:16 AM here). Thank you for all the constructive criticism, though. I need to work on adding detail into my writing, anywyay.- 526 replies

Blackberry Café (OOC)
Angela Daring replied to Neptune's topic in Blackberry Falls's Roleplaying Topics
Well, while she is adventurous, she's smart enough to not go too crazy. Extreme sports would probably not be something she'd be too interested in. Like, I want her to be extroverted because it's easier to interact with people that way, but I don't want her to become a thrillseeker. She can be adventurous and still keep a level head because of the career she chose for herself.- 526 replies

Angela Daring replied to Neptune's topic in Blackberry Falls's Roleplaying Topics
Alright, I moved cheerful and adventurous to general qualities, and removed friendly and chatty since that's basically what it means to be an extrovert. Hopefully, things are a bit more balanced. Sorry about the trouble. I'm good at making detailed posts, but I tend to have trouble with detailed profiles.- 526 replies

Thanks for the input, @Neptune! I added some of the things you suggested. I feel like I may have gone a bit overboard on the strengths, though impulsive is a big flaw. Any other advice you could give me would be appreciated. I'd be happy to take constructive criticism. I'll try to get a bio together tomorrow.- 526 replies

Blackberry Café (OOC)
Angela Daring replied to Neptune's topic in Blackberry Falls's Roleplaying Topics
Okay, I've got some information set down for Angela (I went for female owner in the end), but I don't really have a bio for her yet. Angela is a fairly new character for me as far as all of her variants go, though. As far as her bio goes, I know she was born in another country and moved to Blackberry falls to get away from her parents, and that she has a Master's degree (for which she would have gone to college) but that's about all the info my brain's putting out on her right now. I kind of feel like trash compared to the amount of info Neptune has on some of his characters, but I hope what I've got for now is okay. But yeah, not sure what to put down as her home nation, whether I should make up one or use something from RL.- 526 replies

Same here! I think I will make the brothel owner a male. A female owner would probably just have guys asking her if she was one of the working girls. xD Actually, scratch that. I'm better at writing females than I am at writing males, so I'm gonna go with my original plan.- 526 replies

Blackberry Café (OOC)
Angela Daring replied to Neptune's topic in Blackberry Falls's Roleplaying Topics
Eh... I kind of like my idea, though, I mean, I guess I could use Terashi instead of Angela, but none of my characters are well and truly the dominant kind except for Chaos, and he has a very, very foul mouth. Besides, Keiko wouldn't risk coming near someone like that, much less work for him. And yeah, I'll figure something out for the extra info, but I'm going to roleplay my first character deciding to run a brothel, buying the place, and fixing it up before posting it there. In fact, I'm probably going to start with them when they first move to Blackberry Falls. And if nothing else, there's nothing that says that there wouldn't be competition in the brothel department by the time Sophia goes for it.- 526 replies

Blackberry Café (OOC)
Angela Daring replied to Neptune's topic in Blackberry Falls's Roleplaying Topics
Well, that works, too, then. I didn't want to have Keiko work in a brothel if she would be the only one there (no PC workers or customers) but having at least one other PC there makes me feel a bit more confident, and it'll be easier for Sophia to join a brothel later on if there's one established by then. Keiko's too submissive to start her own brothel, though. But I guess I could include Angela in this and have her run the joint. In that case, I should have Angela join the town first. She can decide to start her own business, look around town, see that there are no brothels despite prostitution being legal and fill a need.- 526 replies

Blackberry Café (OOC)
Angela Daring replied to Neptune's topic in Blackberry Falls's Roleplaying Topics
Anyway, I wasn't asking for people to roleplay with. Since my character was created and not born, she doesn't have a plethora of marketable skills. So, considering what she was designed for, I was going to have her become a prostitute, but I couldn't tell if there are any brothels established in the story or not, and I was asking about that. Something I need to know about before I create my character.- 526 replies

Blackberry Café (OOC)
Angela Daring replied to Neptune's topic in Blackberry Falls's Roleplaying Topics
I'm considering joining this RP, since one paragraph per post is more than within my means. Since prostitution is legal in Blackberry Falls, has there been any brothels created for the RP? I looked through the lore, and I couldn't find anything for it other than maybe Promiscuous Palace (if I'm spelling that right), but there weren't any details on that place. Also, I'm going to want to talk to someone about the backstory of the character I'm planning to use. She's a bunny girl, but she wasn't born one, instead being created by a mage in an attempt to subdue an angel. Though I guess I can just write all that stuff as having happened before she moved to Blackberry Falls. Thought the question is whether a bunnygirl would be allowed to move in to Blackberry Falls.- 526 replies

I'm the same way, though I don't really care what gender the person I'm RPing with is IRL.

Re:Zero - Starting an Orgy in Another World

"Oh, thank you!" Keiko said happily, taking the bear and worm from Ru "I think I'll put this in a box for safekeeping. I'll talk to Angela about who gets which when she's done talking to Vergil." With that, Keiko followed Ru and Nick to the kitchen so she could finish her meal, storing the souvenirs in a box for later.
-
Well, I left quite a bit out of my backstory, to be honest. Reading @Temaelrin's story has got me wanting to talk about it. I'll skip my DnD experiences because after the thief I started making characters from videogames and none of them ended well. After that, I started going on Gaia around August of 2004, where I created Terashi. There's little I remember of his early days, but he had his own in called the Flames of Dissonance, though I did send him to other places of business from time to time. I generally stuck in the Commerce section, hanging out in taverns and shit. I always played Terashi as a polite, older gentleman, and while that got the attention of the ladies, most of the ones he got romantically involved with ended up being crazy in one way or another (though I don't doubt that some of the bad relationships were my fault in some way). So in 2018, I decided to create a character for Terashi to get romantic with. This is where Keiko comes in. Now, outside of Gaia, I also roleplayed in some Legend of the Green Dragon sites, and moved Terashi around in them, too. Never had much success relationship-wise, there, but I made friends and had fun. Surprisingly, it was in one of these sites that Keiko started becoming her own person. For the life of me, i can't remember when I made her a bunnygirl (she was probably like that when I made her Gaia account for her, but she'd been rooting around in my head long before I ever started roleplaying with her, thus she wasn't always one), but the largest chunk of her backstory was developed when she was on her own in LoGD sites. I like Terashi and Keiko together, but sometimes, Keiko can be fun all on her own. As far as Angela, she's basically just a female Terashi because I got into a genderbending kink (female versions of male characters, specifically) a few years ago. She hasn't really had a chance to come unto her own yet, like Keiko has.
-
"Nick!" Keiko cooed, wrapping the youngest sibling in a warm hug. "Welcome home! I made sure to put what's left of supper on the table, so you wouldn't get hurt trying to open the oven. Just be careful how much you eat of the heart-shaped one, okay? I don't want you to get a tummy ache from the sugar," Keiko told him, being careful not to tell him what was for supper so he could be surprised when he went in there. Angela was caught off guard when Vergil charged at her, and she ended up moving to the side to dodge his scythe. This wasn't entirely successful, however, and she got a small cut on the side of her arm for her trouble. After analyzing the cut for a moment, she couldn't help but smile. "Not bad," she said simply. She approached him again, but didn't charge this time, or even run. She'd need to get within fighting distance to judge his new strength, as well as the range his weapon has.
-
"Darkness Elemental Mana," Angela said to herself under her breath as Vergil powered up. She could feel the change in him, and she couldn't help but get excited. She didn't mean to belittle him - in fact, it was more a case of her being worried about him than anything else. But she wasn't going to insult his confidence by making sure she wasn't hurting his feelings. She didn't know for sure if he was offended by what she said, after all. He hadn't said anything after all. Angela charged Vergil again, but instead of leaping in the air, she stuck to the ground this time. She'd never fought a scythe user before, and needed to learn how to dodge the weapon effectively, so she'd still be holding back in this fight, though not as much as before. She was focusing more an learning her opponent than training him for now, until she was more confident that she knew what Vergil was capable of.
-
"Hello?" Keiko asked from the kitchen where she had began washing what dinner dishes Vergil, Yuuto, and Angela had left behind (she wasn't done with her meal yet). When she heard voices, though, she came to the living room where she found Rei and Ru. "Oh, hey! Welcome home! I've got pizzas in the kitchen if you guys are hungry!" she offered. She would have hugged Rei and Ru on the spot, but they were busy hugging each other at the moment. "I'm starting to think this isn't a good idea," Angela sighed, looking at the gash in Vergil's chest. "You're not gonna get stronger if you get hurt. You're only gonna get Keiko mad at me," she explained, sticking her tongue out at Vergil at the mention of Keiko. "There's plenty of training equipment in the area. If you're not at your full strength, fighting me at mine isn't a good idea. So let's just train for now. You won't like the look Keiko gives you when she has to stitch your corpse back together." She was just kidding at that last bit, but she meant what she said. If Vergil kept on like this, the fight would stay one-sided. He needed training more than anything right now.
-
"Actually, I was thinking 'guns are a coward's weapon, and why waste live ammo on a sparring session,' but whatever," Angela sneered at Vergil's comments. Taking his test shot as a sign to start the fight, but not reacting until after the shot collided with the floor due to paying attention to where he aimed, Angela ran up to Vergil and leapt above him, aiming to land blade first on him, her two swords stretched outward and ready to meet him.
-
-
Angela scoffed when Vergil pulled out a pair of handguns. Not only did she think of all guns as weapons only suitable for cowards but unless he had ammo for them designed to stun or deal non-lethal damage, what was the point of wasting the ammo in a sparring session. The grenades, too, but non-lethal grenades were more common than non-lethal ammo. Sure, she was confident in her ability to dodge bullets and grenades, but she didn't see the sense in any of it. Regardless, when Vergil pulled his scythe out, she pulled out her swords. The right-hand sword was the one she got from her biological father, having a slight curve to it while being very long, wide, and thick, whereas the left-hand sword was the one she got from her military instructor. Just as long, wide, and thick as her father's sword, but without a curve. This broadsword was edged at both sides and was straight, whereas her father's warsword had one edge and was curved a bit. She kept both blades razor sharp, and wasn't considering using them for sparring. But if Vergil was using lethal weaponry for practice purposes, she wasn't about to disadvantage herself with non-lethal weaponry.
-
Keiko blushed a bit when Yuuto kissed her, but didn't stop him. "Take care," she said simply, letting him walk away while she ate some more of her dinner, having eaten somewhat more slowly than Angela or the boys. Angela forgot where she was when she got excited to fight, and rubbed the back of her head nervously when Vergil reminded her. Nevertheless, she followed him energetically, looking forward to training with Vergil, even though she knew she'd have to take it easy on him while he was getting the hang of his abilities again. Once in the room, Angela stretched a bit in anticipation, and flashed a confident smirk at Yuuto when she caught him peeping on the looming sparring session.
-
"Oh! You just want to get stronger!" Angela said excitedly, drooping into a battle stance without drawing her weapons. "Why didn't you say so?" she asked, a wide, excited smirk on her face.
