Location: a simple cafe. 8:09 am. The detective noticed the waitress arriving with the girl's order as she wrote on the notepad again before pushing it to Isaac once more. The silver haired boy couldn't help but yo notice that smile on the bunny girl's face was actually pretty legit, or at the very least she was way better at faking it than he. Isaac didn't like lying to people and he wasn't really good at it either. Before reading the note again, the detective noticed that, while eating her pancakes, the bunny girl seemed to be really happy and enjoying herself, it was kinda cute actually. "Pancakes huh? I should have guessed you would order that" he said with a slight chuckle, faking the whole 'date' stuff again. As for the note itself... well, it sure clarified a lot of things about the girl. Like why she simply refused to speak to him. She wasn't avoiding talking to him, she simply couldn't, bacuse she is mute. Isaac felt somewhat bad for approaching the subject the way he did, but at least he got her name: Eri. A pretty nice name, sounded good. Out of all of that however, what got the most attention from the detective was the 'involuntary work' part. Was she being forced to do all of that? By whom? And why? And what were threatning her with? His mind was absolutely flodded with questions after reading that part. Once again, the detective found himself dealing with another internal conflict. On one hand, he would likely be getting himself involved with some really dangerous people, but on the other hand, he didn't want to leave Eri to deal with a problem of that scale by herself. It was also clear that she couldn't deal with that problem alone. Plus... his damned detective curiosity kept tingling with excitment. Before Isaac could consider the part about sharing breakfast for the sake of the 'date' cover, the waitress arrived with his waffles and placed them over the table. He nodded at her in thanks before cutting and eating a small piece. The waffles were great! Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Still, keeping the cover was in his best interest... he would have to think on something, but for now, he decided to write on the notepad. 'Oh... I see... I am sorry, I didn' know. Well, before I decide if I am going to help you, I'll need more information and details on what we are dealing with, so... yeah, sure. We can go somewhere else after we are done here. I'll be paying for my breakfast, though. As for covering our "date" a bit better... well..." Isaac then pushed the notepad back at Eri and waited for her to read before cutting another small piece of his waffles and stabbing it with his fork and offering to her. He had a slight blush in his face as he did that, despite his attempts of hidding it. "Came on, give it a try" he said in a soft voice tone- 470 replies

Location: a simple cafe. 8:07 am. The detective was lost in hos thoughs when his coffee was delived to his table. He nodded slightly to the waitress in thanks before taking a sip. That heavenly feeling the of hot, bitter sweet, black liquid invading his mouth washed over his senses. He wouldn't be able to enjoy it for very long, though, as Yoshitzune soon called for his attention "Master! She is approaching you! There are too many people around here for me to act. You'll have to deal with her by yourself for now." the detective cursed silently as his brief moment enjoying some coffee goodness had been broken. He kept one of his hands on the mug he was drinking from while sliding the other inside his pant's pokets. Once positioned, he already began to manifest a few strings, just in case he needed to defend himself. Much to his surprise however, the girl approached him in very formal and polite way. Including a smile and a slight bow. Not to mention that, now that was waering normal clothes instead of a skin-tight suit, she looked like a simple girl like any other, asside from the bunny ears, that is... Isaac watch with morbid curiosity as she pushed a chair and sat in front of him before pulling out a notepad and writting him a message. The blue eyed boy took another sip of his coffee before reading the contents of the message. Honestly? She was being a bit overwealming at first. Asking a lot of questions right off the bat and even asking to pretend to be on date with her because she is afraid of being watched. Isaac's rational side was telling him to get out of there before he got himself into unnecessary trouble, but his detective curiosity got the best of him and he decided to play along. "I am glad you could make it here" said Isaac with a slight false smile "It's my hope that you didn't have much trouble finding this place" the detective then began to write back to her on the notepad with the pen 'Whoa whoa calm down will ya? That's a lot to ask out of the blue like that... well, first of all, my name is Isaac. Second of all, I was hired last night to find the night guard who had gone missing. And as for the last question... that I can't tell you. How about you tell your name and why you don't want to talk to me? Or even better, who do you think it could be watching us?' After he was done writting, Isaac pushed the pen and notepad back at the bunny girl.- 470 replies

Location: Yokai world - Isaac's house. 10:40 pm The detective was still reading his book. He always had very profound love for literature, specially when it comes to adventure books. He just loved to imagine tense and action packed scenes described on the pages. He even considered writting one a few times, however, he doesn't consider himself creative enough to actually create a interesting and engaging story like the ones he loves to read so much. It' not a big deal, though. He has other hobbies and passions to get involved with, such as music and a few TV shows. Eventually, the tired detective let out a soft yawn, a definitive sign that he had enough for a day. After setting a marker to current page he was reading and setting the book asside, Isaac made his way to his bedroom and quickly got himself confy in his bed. Soon enough, he found himself drifting to sleep. His mind was now free to explore the endless possibilities offered by the dream world. Even if said freedom was, unfortunately, very short lived. Location: Yokai world - Isaac's house. 8:00 am. The blue-eyed boy slowly but surely woke up from his well-deserved night sleep. He took a deep breath before getting out of bed and heading for the bathroom so he could take a shower. After he was done with his shower and brushing his teeth, he proceeded to put on some clothes, but nothing really fancy. Blue jeans, black shoes and a white T-shirt. While under most circuntances his breakfast would simply be a few fruits he cultivates at his backyard, Isaac decided to have breakfast somewhere on the city. It sounded like a good opportunity for him to explore the town a bit more. Plus... a hot cup of coffee would be great right now. Getting out of the portal, the detective found himself in the same alleyway from last night. Now that he was out of his save heaven, Isaac was quick to summon Yoshitzune in his etheral form, so he could keep an eye on any potential threats. He walked around the area a bit until he found a pretty nice looking cafe and decided to get in. He sat at one of the avaliable tables and ordered himself and simple cup on coffee and some waffles. Yoshitzune was quick to notice the bunny girl from yesterday sitting at one of the nearby tables "Master! It's her! The female from the past day!" said the Yokai, causing Isaac to look where his friend was pointing "Well, what are the odds?" Whispered the detective with a slight chuckle "We are not here to spy on her, but please keep an eye on her ok? There is clearly more to her than meets the eye"- 470 replies

Location: a formely haunted museum 10:28 Now that his job was done and Isaac was sure that there were no Yokai left haunting the place, he decided it was time to get out of there. He spoke to one of the guards and assured him that the spirits wouldn't be a problem anymore. The detective also said that it might be a good idea to reinforce security around the necklace exibition area, even thought he doubted that they would be able to stop the ninja bunny girl he met a few minutes earlier. The guard thanked Isaac for his services and said that he should come back on the next day to recieve his payment, after all, it was owner of the who is supposed to pay him. Isaac simply noded at the man and made his way out of the museum. The cold yet gentle rain drops washed over him, causing his clothes to get soaked, but that didn't really bother the detective. "It's just water, not a big deal." He said to himself as he ventured forth into the city. Feeling a bit hungry, he decided to go a naerby burger place. The place itself seemed simple enough and Isaac wasn't really picky with this sort of thing. Once inside, he ordered himsepf a simple burger and relax a bit while checking on his phone while he waited. It didn't take long for his order to be ready. The burger wasn't bad, but it was still no match for the ones he ate back in his hometown. He would have to go back some day to visit his parents anyway. Once he was done eating, Isaac paid for his meal and headed out into the rain again. He walked for a bit before finding a pretty dark and discreat alleyway. Not wanting much attention, he got into that dark area before using his strings to open the portal to his house in the Yokai world, which closed immediatly after Isaac passed through. Finally at home, Isaac brushed his teeth and sat on his favorite couch before picking one of his books and continuing to read it.- 470 replies

Location: a formely haunted museum 10:26 pm Seeing how the bunny girl clearly didn't want to reply, Isaac decided to take matters in his own hands "You don't want to talk to me huh? Well, that's a shame... I was legit curious to know about you, considering that you were bat shit crazy enough to actually come to this place and try to steal such a valuable necklace" said Isaac in and honest and somewhat dissapointed voice tone. "And that's not all master. Had you not intervined, she surely would be able to escape this place with it. I am sure I saw her passing through a wall not long ago" added Yoshitzune in a serious tone "She can go etheral as well?" Isaac was a bit chocked to hear that. Although... that surely explained how she was able to infiltrate the museum and steal the precious item without triggering the alarm. The detective then sighed again before making a decision. "Yoshitzune, can you please check on her bag? I am sure the necklace will be there" the Yokai simply replied with a slight nod before moving to the bunny girl's side and checking the bag. While he was at it, Isaac put on his very serious face and looked the girl straight in her blue eyes "I am not going to hurt you. I wouldn't feel right doing so, since I don't know much about you. That said..." it was then that the detective pulled down the cloth covering the girl's face, giving him a complete view of her facial assets "...I now know your face, and I am pretty good at finding people when I want to. I don't mind if you steal someone's crap, but be warned. If I find out that you killed an innocent person... you'll see me again, and I pretty sure you don't want that, do ya?" Isaac's voice tone was manecing as all hell at that point. He also made sure to keep eye contact with the girl, he was dead serious about what he said. "I found it, master!" said Yoshitzune after taking the necklace and bringing it to Isaac. "Thank you." He replied his friend with a slight nod as he took the necklace in his free hand. He then turned to the girl one last time "As for you... well, looks like you are a girl after all... your facial features don't lie. Plus, your legs and thighs... *ahem* anyway... you are free to go" and just like that, the strings were gone and the girl was free. Isaac now had his mind focused once more on fiding the missing guy. He went back to the necklace exibition and kept on scanning the area. Eventually, he was able to find the weird roof part again and, with the help from another Yokai, was able to dispell the illusion that had been cast creating a false roof where the missing person was hidden. The guy was alive, but very weak. Yokai magic was holding him there as a medium sized lizard-like spirit drained it's victim's energy "Yo! Sorry to interrupt your dinner, but are closing in a few minutes. Would you mind getting the fuck out of here?" said the detective in a mocking tone while already preparing himself for combat. Obviously, the spirit wasted no time and jumped at it's enemy, but Isaac's strings quickly entangle it and shredded it to pieces, core included. The magic holding the night guard at the roof was gone and he fell to the ground. The detective alerted the other guards, before placing the necklace back on it's place, with a little help from Yoshitzune. An ambulance was called and the missing person sent to the hospital.- 470 replies

Location: haunted museum 10:23 pm Noticing the theif's quick moves in a attempt to escape, Yoshitzune immediatly warned Isaac about it "Master! It's trying to escape!" shouted the Yokai while pointing at the direction the bunny girl was heading. Thinking quickly, the detective dissipated the strings holding the evil spirits, causing them to unleash the screaching screams once again. Now with a free hand, Isaac lauched his strings towards the direction Yoshitzune had pointed to and cover as much ground as possible. Soon, the detective felt the weight of the intruder over the strings and immediatly twisted said strings so that his target would be completely entangled and immobilized. Once Isaac was sure his target secure, he turned his attention back to the evil spirits who were still there. "Yoshitzune!" Once again, a simple command was all it took for the samurai Yokai to manifest himself in his physical form and draw his swords. With his extreme speed and power, Yoshitzune made quick work of the goopy things coming off the paintings, it wasn't long before they were all destroyed sent back to the Yokai world. Silence was once again reigning on the hallways. "Great work as always my friend" said Isaac in satisfied tone as the samurai returned to his master's side "Thank you master." he replied with a slight bow "What about the intruder?" "Well, let's have a look." The detective then lowered the bunny a bit so they could a good face-to-face look at each other "So, who we have here?" began Isaac "Look, I might not have been here for long, but I am impressed! Trying to steal from a museum that, not only has tight security, but also is packed full of evil spirits?" the detective was talking in a sort of sarcastic and comic way "You have some balls my dude!" "Uhhh... master?" said the Yokai "I am pretty sure that it is a female" "WHAT?!" Isaac looked at his warrior friend with a dumbfolded expression the back to the girl, then back to him again "That's a chick? Are you kidding me? But where are her uhm..." "Look master, even I know that not all human females have uh... big breasts" "Yeah I know that, but... I mean look at that! It's like an anvil!" Yoshitzune simply shrugged back at his master, who gave a long sigh in defeat before turning back to the invader "Okay, so... miss thief I guess... how about you tell me your name?"- 470 replies

Location: a haunted museum 10:22 pm Yoshitzune was able to spot the fast moving bunny girl out of the corner of his eye and quick turned into his etheral form so he could also reach the necklace display without breaking the glass barrier. Noticing his Yokai friend's moves, Isaac was quick to take his hands out of his ears and use his strings to paralyse every single Yokai coming out of the paintings, causing them to stop making the noise. It didn't take much effort from him to do it and, just to be safe, he used the strings from his other hand as a location trap. They were quickly spread all over the hallways. Isaac was able to feel the vibration in every single one of them and would be able to quickly react to anything touching them in a abrupt way. Once everything was in place and silence was once again taking over the halls the detective was ready to deal with the intruder, who at this point was already within Yoshitzune's fiel of view. "Oi! Mister intruder, if you know what is good for you, you'll come out of what ever hiding spot you are in right now. Dealing with evil Yokai is already a pain in the butt and I REALLY don't feel like dealing some sneaky thief. So grow up some balls and face me!" announced the detective in a demanding way, ready for a fight. "...well... unless you are a girl that is... I don't judge..." Truth to be told, Isaac found himself feeling somewhat nervous there. He knew that his adversary wasn't a Yokai, because otherwise, that spirit who alerted him about the the intruder would have said so. Yoshitzune was also ready to strike as soon as recieved the orders to do so. He wanted to sabe the element of surprise for later use.- 470 replies

Location: haunted museum 10:20 pm Isaac was still investigating the area in which one of the guards had dissapeared. While investigating, the detective noticed something weird: there was a small area near the en of the hallway where the roof seemed to be a bit lower than the rest. It was also a blind spot area on the camera's field of view, making it a good place to hide a body. Of course, no normal person would be able to hide someone in there, but when dealing with Yokai spirits, pretty much everything is possible. Before Isaac could investigate further, though, the small Yokai that had been placed to watch that closet earlier showed up to warn the detective about someone or something moving around that area. Isaac silently groaned in annoyance for being forced to focus on something else when he getting close to posdibly find something important. Leaving the investigation for a later moment for now, Isaac thanked the small Yokai and dispersed him before focusing on the halls. With Yoshitzune in his etheral form there as well to help him find whatever had busted out of the closet and to fight if necessary. The lack of light on that particular area wasn't really helping either. It was at that point that Isaac noticed the moving paintings in the halway. The drawings were moving and twisting inside the frames. There was no doubt. These were Yokai. They were clearly feeding of the guards spiritual energy, causing them to go crazy and have hallucinations. That sure explained why no one noticed one of them dissapearing before the end of the last night. The detective then had a briliant, although risky, idea. Use the evil Yokai in his favor. If agitated, they would manifest thenselves in a physical form, affecting every living being in the area. "Yoshitzune!" with a simple command, the warrior Yokai slammed his sword on the ground, making enough noise to agitate the evil spirits. They then emerged. About 10 of them began to get out of the painting frames in the form of a pitch black goo with a few sharp teeth and small arms with claws. They emitted a terrible screaching sound as they did it. Trying to stun everyone close enough to listen. Isaac was already used to them, so all he had to do was cover his ears with his hands and wait for the intruder to show up.- 470 replies

Location: haunted museum 10:00 pm Soon enough, night fell over and the skies went dark with only the moon and the stars providing light. Isaac got permission to stay with the other guards during the night shift. After the doors were closed and the alarm systems activated, a dead silence filled the place. After talking a bit with the other guards, Isaac got the location where the disapearence had happened last night: the necklace exibition. The detective advised the others to keep an open eye for anything weird and to call for him should they spot anything out of ordinary. On his way to the necklace exibition and out of the other guards view, Yoshitzune decided to manifest himself in his etheral form "Well? What do you think we are dealing with here?" asked the Yokai warrior "I am not sure. I mean... there certainly are some minor Yokais around here, but how many and what kinds is hard to tell. Plus..." Isaac then directed his attention to a janitor's closet neaby. His instincts were telling him something else was going on there "I have the feeling we'll have more problems to deal with tonight" the detective tried to open the door, but just as he suspected, it was locked. Just to be safe, Isaac summoned another small Yokai in etheral state so he would be warned if anything went down over there. Finally, the detective had reached the exibition area. The first thing he did was to have a good look around. There were a few paintings around, but those seemed normal. The unsettling thing about that area was the heavy negative energy in the air. The was something wrong there. Very wrong. Isaac made sure to be ready for anything as he kept on investigating.- 470 replies

It was just another seemingly normal afternoon in Blackberry Falls when Isaac arrived at the town. He came by the bus station and, after getting out of the bus, took a deep breath. After hours traveling, being finally able to strech his legs was a heavenly feeling, but Isaac didn't allow himself to dwel in thise thoughts for long. He was a straight to business kind of guy anyway. After walking around for a bit and asking for directions a couple of times, Isaac was final able to reach the museum he had heard about in the rumors. Not wanting to waste any time, he presented hinself as a supernatural detective and asked to one of the nearby employees about the haunting rumors. The woman explain that the night guards have been complaining about objects moving for no reason, some paintings coming to life and that last night one of said guards even dissapeared. Isaac took upon himself to deal with that problem and got permission from the owner of the museum to investigate.- 470 replies

From the album: Akira's characters
Character Identity Information Name: Isaac Yamasaki. Age/Date of Birth: 17 Gender: Male. Religion: Antiquorum's follower. Species: Human. Origin: Born in Tiloga. Nationality: Ashaean. Occupation: Supernatural Detective. Physical Appearance Height: 1,77 meters Weight: 73 kg Eye Colour: Light blue. Hair Colour: Silver. Physical Description: Isaac himself isn't very different from a normal guy of his age, asside from his hair maybe. He doesn't really like getting attention, so he normally wears common clothes along with a usually grey hoodie. He was never really good at sports, which is why is somewhat skinny when you look up close. Overall, Isaac's appearance is pretty damn normal, allowing him to "blend with the crowd" so to speak and he likes it better that way. Personality, Traits and Abilities General Overview: Isaac is an overall calm guy. He hardly loses his temper even while under dire and stressful situations. He greatly values true bonds of trust and friendship and likes helping people if possible, but only when it involves something serious and/or important, which is why he decided to become a supernatural detective. Thanks to his powers, he can easily deal with pretty much any danger that comes his way. He doesn't like hurting people he doesn't consider to be deserving, however, under certain circuntances he will kill evil spirits and maybe even people. That's very unlikely, thought. When it comes to his friends or people he actually like, Isaac is very loyal and like to make bad jokes whenever he can to lighten up the mood. It might take him some time to go from a professional relationship, or any kind of relationship, to a more personal one. He likes people he can count on and he has a soft spot for strong and badass woman. Strengths, Skills and Abilities: As a kid, he learned karate and eventually mixed that knowledge with his powers to create his own fighting style. Isaac can also summon a few Yokai spirits to help him in many situations. Those spirits can't be killed but if they take enough damage they will be forced back into the Yokai world. Some spirits can be summoned in a "etheral" state, they'll be invisible to anyone but Isaac and will be able phase through any non-enchanted object and even interact with small items. Yokais summoned in their normal state can be seen by anyone. Isaac can also use his link to the Yokai world to draw power from it. Said power can be used for many things such as replanishing his stamina. To defend himself, Isaac uses his energy to manifest very thin and sharp blue strings from the tip of his fingers (which CAN be seen by normal people). Said strings can be used to hold, entangle and even cut almost anything, with enough force that is. They can't be cut by normal blades, only enchanted ones. In the case of Yokai spirits, those strings are among the few things capable of actually destroying the core of said spirit, which are small orbs usually located in the torso, basically killing them. If not destroyed, the core will dissipate and return to the Yokai world. Isaac can enter the Yokai world through a portal he can manifest using his strings. There, he has a modest house along with a field where he cultivates food, such as fruits and vegetables. The part of the Yokai world in which he lives is a very pretty and fullbof life green field near a forest. He can always get get meat in the human world if he wants to. Should he trust someone enough, he can bring other people to the Yokai world with him. Yokai spirits: Yoshitzune: https://pin.it/7ilasilfo2yhg5 Isaac's go to Yokai spirit, Yoshitzune is incredibly fast, agile and strong. He can deflect bullets and slice through titanium with his swords. He is the Yokai whom with Isaac has the deepest bond of all. So much so in fact that he can manifest itself without Isaac's conscent if necessary, but doing so greatly reduces his power and only allows him to manifest for a few seconds, 2 minutes at maximum. Weaknesses: Isaac is still human, meaning he has all the weakness a normal person would. Very few Yokai actually have healing capabilities and even then, said capabilities are somewhat limited. Ambitions (Hopes/Dreams): With his Yokai friends by his side, Isaac wants to improve the bond between humans and Yokai, maybe even create a world where both can live in harmony. Hobbies and Interests: Isaac has a deep interest in art and music. He likes playing his guitar when he can. Reading books is also something he really likes doing, specially detective stories and shows. Personal Sexual Information: Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual. Turn ons: Actual love and afection, big breasts, thigs and butts. Turn offs: Humiliation, pain, BDSM. Sensitivity: Normal. Aditional sexual information: he is sterile. STD History: Clean. Extra Information: Father: Ichirose Yamasaki. Mother: Lucy Yamasaki. Siblings: a little sister named Marie Yamasaki. Grandparents: unknown. Children: none. Grand-children: none. House: He has a house in the Yokai world. Car: none. Pet: none. Additional information: Upon exiting the Yokai world, Isaac will always be teleported to the same area in there human world from which he entered. History: Isaac was born with a mysterious link to the Yokai world, ever since he can remember, he has spoken with many spirits. His parents thought they were nothing imaginary friends, but usually those are incapable of helping kids at physically beating bullies. Of couse, some of those spirits alao had bad intentions, but hia will power and spiritual friends kept him safe on that regard. Since he always had Yokai by his side, Isaac never was the social type. Even now he has some trouble socializing with most people. When he was 12 he entered the Yokai world for the first time. It was then that he met Yoshitzune, who took a liking on the boy due to his pure intentions and strong willpower, the marks of a true warrior just like him. Over the years, Isaac created a really special bond with the warrior Yokai and made a pact with Antiquorum, one of the two godesses who created the Yokai world and it's habitants. The other sister believes that happiness is only achieved by absolute freedom, therefore she allows some Yokai to slip into the human world, while Antiquorum belives co-existance, but with a few restrictions. Isaac's job is to bring any Yokai that causes problems to the human world back to the Yokai world. In a few cases, when there spirit has done something beyond redemption, he will kill said spirit. As such, Isaac is a sworn follower of Antiquorum and the good Yokai. Not long after completing 17 years of age, Isaac heard rumors of weird cases happening in Blackberry Falls, as such he decided to move there and have a look by himself. Awards/Commendations: becoming a fairly well known detective in the region. Criminal Record: clean. Medical Record: nothing relevant. Bio: nothing else to add. -

Izanagi also laughed a little bit and shook his head slightly at his friends comment. Now that he was sure that the cultist was using the mutated bandits, the demon almost felt bad for them. Emphasis on 'almost', since the bandits were clearly blinded by their thirst for more power. Not to mention they were cleaarly planning on using those powers for their own selfsh purposes. It was probably for the best that he was there to stop them before they had any chances to actually hurt someone, or worst. Izanagi also wasn't really surprised when Deadrin said that the cultist was planning on using him as a way to blackmail his friend into giving up. Dirty and dishonest tactics like those were depressingly common and effective outside a regulated human society. Still, they both alive and, mostly, well. So he couldn't really complain. "Well, it looks like we both cleaned the world a little bit today huh?" he said in a joking tone. When their dinner got ready and Deadrin poured some for both of them, Izanagi happily picked up his bowl and spoon from his friend's hands. "Thank you" he simply replied with a nod before taking a spoon full into his mouth. Deadrin's skills as a cook naver failed to impress him. Despite having considerably limited resources, his food always tasted great. Which was something Izanagi approved very much. "Say, you also had to fight against that cultist and a few other monsters while we were separated right? I am curious about how it all happened. Can you tell me how it was?" The demon said before taking another spoon full.- 152 replies

"Got it" Izanagi simply replied in his usual direct and calm tone. He took a quick look around and found a big rock nearby. He approached said rock and cleaned it a bit so he could use it as a improvised chopping board. Once it was clean, he placed the rabbit over it and summoned another bladded chain tip using a smal portal. The sharp blade easily cut through the meat, separating it from the bones. It didn't take Izanagi very long to finish his job, he was very good at chopping stuff after all. Once he was done, he did as Deadrin had asked him to and dropped the meat into the pot so it would cook along the other ingredients. Izanagi also dropped the bones into the fire so it could be used as fuel. It was faster then burring them into a hole and betten than simple leaving them into open air to attract hostile animals. "Oh right, my battle against the bandit monsters. Heh, the Priest wasn't the only one underestimating me. The monsters did the same." the demon replied with a slight chuckle as he also took a seat near the campfire. He then placed a hand on his chin and began to hum softly as he began to navegate his memories of the fight, trying to remember as many details as possible. "Well, after were got separeted I began to explore the area trying to find you again. Once we I had reached that chamber were you saw all the bodies, the bandits tried to ambush me. Needless to say, it didn't work." He began to tell as his recolections progressed through his mind "There were five of them in total. One was a scorpion-man, there was also a spider-lady, a rock like creature that could dive into the stone walls of the cave as if they were water, a spikey guy who had sharp... well... spikes covering his body, and last but not least, a woman named Igna who could manipulate fire and was still rational. Which brings me to the funniest part of the story." Izanagi let out a slight chuckle as he remembered Igna trying to seduce him "Believe it or not, Igna actually tried to seduce me into betraying you and joining them. She said that with their powers and your weapons combined, they would be able to take over the entire kingdom." the demon shook his head sideways a bit after telling that part to his friend. Those monsters were crazy if not delusional. "Well, I pretended to be interested at first, but as soon as I noticed an opening I kicked Igna in the gut and sent her flying towards the cave's wall. The battle then began. Every single one of the monsters tried to attack me in a different way. The scorpion was trying to hit me with his claws and poisoned sting. The spider was firing sticky silk at me from the roof in a attempt to immobilyze me. Igna was trying to hit me with fire balls. The rock person and the spikey guy were simply rushing at me with all they had. The first thing I did was to cut off the scorpion's poison sting. While I do heal fast than a human would, poison would still be a big problem. Once that was done, the spider maneged to get my foot stuck to the ground. I was able to kill the spikey monster despite being stuck, but at the cost of being hit in the back by the rock creature. It still hurts a bit depending on how I move. Eventually, I was able to kill the living rock, followed by the scorpion. I also made a very interesting discovery. Do you remeber the rune I absorbed at Torak's mansion?" Izanagi then removed the glove on his right hand and channeled some energy through his arm so Deadrin could clearly see the gray rune glowing on the back of his hand "Turns out this thing really can manipulate time. I used it's effect on the spider lady and she almost completely frozen in place. She was moving so slow it was almost as if she wasn't moving at all" He then put his glove back on "In a last ditch effort to kill me, Igna began to attack me with as much fire as possible. Little did she know that trying to kill me with fire is like trying to drown a fish. I quickly killed her and then the spider lady. After that, I continued exploring until I finally found you."- 152 replies

Izanagi sighed slightly and stared at the lit campfire as he considered if he should or not go hunting. With his skills and powers it likely wouldn't take him very long to do so. Plus, now that he knew for certain that Deadrin has a few tricks up his sleeve, he was certain that he would be fine by himself. Still, he was reluctant to do so. Leaving an injured person that he cares about behind, despite said person's capabilities, was simply against his nature and something the demon wouldn't even consider doing under different circunstances. After a few brief moments, Izanagi got up and activated his Soul Eye so he could immediatly begin looking for any potential preys in the area. "Very well... in that case, I'll go hunt us something for dinner. It probably won't take me long." he replied in his usual calm tone before venturing forth into the woods. Just like he suspected, it only took Izanagi a couple of minutes to find traces of a bunny. With both his hunting experience and Soul Eye, he was able to efficiently track the small rodent and kill it with quick and precise strike using his Hell Chains, piercing straight through the animal's head and killing it instantly. Izanagi, felt a mix of relief and satisfaction upon confirming that had taken his target down in a humane way. He didn't like the idea of making innocent animals suffer. "Sorry little guy. Nothing personal, but at least I didn't cause you much pain" The demon then proceeded to gut and remove the animal using the bladed tip from the chain he summoned before. Once he was done, he dispersed the chain and made his way back to the camp. "Hey Deadrin, we'll be having bunny for dinner again" he announced as he displayed the dead bunny carcass in his hand after he arrived.- 152 replies

Izanagi nodded in agreement to Deadrin's suggestion and began to secure the sacks on the horses. He was glad that his friend was self-aware enough of the situation to let him do most of the heavy lifting. Once they were sure the cargo was secure, both mounted their respectie horses and began to make way back to the same area in which they had set up camp last night. Izanagi couldn't help but to feel somewhat relieved once his friend was riding Deagrin again, since that meant his leg wouldn't have to deal with much stress now. It wasn't long before they had reached the camping area. Izanagi was quick to get off Lucky's back and unsaddle her before giving her a few affectionate pats on the neck. "You should rest while you can girl, things might get a bit harder to deal with from now on" the demon said to his horse in a somewhat playful tone before turning to Deadrin who seemed to be resting a bit on a rock nearby. "The same goes for you Deadrin. With your leg on that state you should focus on resting and recovering" he said in clear and direct tone. He didn't want his injured friend to do anything he didn't have to. Izanagi then gathered a few rocks and sticks from the ground and used them to make a new campfire. As tempting as it was to simply lit the thing with his Wrathful Flames, using a cursed demonic fire for cooking would probably be a bad idea. Intead, Izanagi used two other rocks to create a few embers. He wanted to go out and hunt something for them to cook, but leaving his wounded friend behind was something he didn't want to do.- 152 replies

Izanagi couldn't help but to smile a bit back at Deadrin after his slight demontration of affection. Even though Izanagi himself wasn't really used to recieving these, he certainly could appreciate the gesture. "That mekes two of us my friend" the demon replied with a slight chuckle before giving the chains a firm pull as they began to make their way out of the cave. Despite the fact that they had only spent a couple of hours in there, Izanagi felt as if days had passed. Mainly due to how boring mining was. Exploring the cave and fighting a few idiots wasn't really bad or anything he had never done before, but mining? that was just straight up boring. He was really glad it was finally over. However, they would still have to deal with climbing over that enormous wall near the entrance of the cave. Going up would vertainly be more complicated, not only because of the sacks, but also because Deadrin's leg wound could be a very real problem. "Let me know if you want to make a quick pause because of your leg" Izanagi told his friend since he didn't want him to push himself too much. When they passed by the area in which the battle against the monsters had happened, the demon was taken away from his thoughts on how to possibly solve the problem they would soon have to deal with by his friend mentioning how curious he was about the fight that took place there earlier. Izanagi smiled a bit before replying "Heh worry not. I can tell you all about it after we set up a camp" that caused him to begin remembering how it all happened. The memories of the ones he had defeated on that battle took over his mind for a few moments as thought on which details he should bring up. Soon enough, they had reached the wall at the entrance. Deadrin showed the rope they had placed there back when they had first arrived in the place. It had been cut. Most likely by the cultists who had attacked them. Displaying a reaction similar to his friend's, the demon facepalmed and groaned in annoyence "Ugh... it seems these guys just love to make our lives harder. Even after being killed" Much to Izanagi's surprise, Deadrin was able to simply climb up the wall with his bare hands. It was like he had some sort of glue on the palm of his hands that allowed him to climb up without much trouble, despite the wounded leg. Now it was his turn to go up and Izanagi had to think on how to proceed. The first thing that he did was to move the chains holding the sacks with the mineral up. "Make way. I am moving the sacks of kraerhil first" he announced so that Deadrin was aware of what he was doing and could avoid getting hit by the heavy cargo. Since it was a bit hard to see correctly from his position, Izanagi didn't want to his wounded friend with a heavy load of minerals. The chains began to move upwards at a slow speed and, after reaching the desired hight, moved a bit forwards so all the sacks wouldn't be at risk of falling down the wall again. The chains then immediatly dissipated leaving the cargo there. Izanagi knew that the easiest thing to do would be fire a bladed chain at the roof and use it to climb, but causing another collapse wasn't a risk he was willing to take. Thankfully, the demon had an idea. He once again opened a small portal and wrapped the set of chanins around his right arm. Just like he did with the kraerhil, the portal and chains slowly moved upwards, pulling him as well. Izanagi was eventually able to safely reach his destination. "Alright... that's that"- 152 replies

Izanagi was a bit surprised at first when his friend mentioned they would only get about a bar of pure kraerhil per sack, which was a bit dissapointing for him. He was expecting to get a bit more out of their efforts. Then again, he couldn't really complain since he didn't understand much about mining and forging. Plus, Deadrin said that kraerhil was a very valuable material, so it made sense for it to be so hard to get. At his friend's question, Izanagi placed a hand on his chin and began to think on how to deal with that situation. "Yeah, I agree. With your leg on that state, you should probably avoid putting too much stress on it. Carrying too many of these sacks at the same time is not a good idea" the demon replied while humming softly and trying to find a solution. In a few seconds, he had an idea. "Oh! I think I got it!" he said in slightly animated tone while he began to place all the sacks together in one place. After they were all stacked up, Izanagi openned a small portal and summoned a single one of his Hell Chains from it. He calmy began to envelop the black chain around the sacks, making sure they were tightly and firmly attached to avoid the risk of the sacks slipping out. Once he was done, he moved the portal and positioned it just above his right forearm before grabbing the chain with his right hand. "Alright... now I should be able to drag our cargo without any problems" He then gave the chain a few firm pulls to make sure everything was set. Satisfied with the result, he turned to Deadrin again. "I think we are set. Shall we get going?" Izanagi asked with a slight smile. It sure was a good thing that he was way stronger than a normal human. Otherwise hr wouldn't be able to pull all that weight by himself. Not to mention he had already dealt with way worse stuff than that. He probably wouldn't have any troubles simply dragging some heavy sacks around.- 152 replies

Izanagi laughed a bit and facepalmed at Deadrin's waek attempt of a joke "Geez Deadrin, that was just terrible" he replied while laughing some more and shaking his head slightly. "But I agree with you. We should stick together. As far as I know, you and I get along pretty damn well. After we get back to the kingdom, maybe I could go for more jobs like this. Looking for valuable stuff in the forest, I mean." Izanagi admited while the kept on mining some more. It didn't seem to matter how much time passed, there was just no end to how much Kraerhil the found, which was good in the sense that Deadrin would have a generous supply at his disposal once they were back, but that also meant that they would have quite a lot to carry on their way back. On top of all that, they were already getting themselfs in enough trouble without the cargo. Going back would very likely be even harder than reaching the cave. After some more time mining, Izanagi took a second to stretch his back, which was still hurting a bit from the blow he took during his recent fight, and take a look at how much they had mined so far. He counted about fifteen sacks of the precious mineral. "Phew... I think we have enough. If we bring too many the travel back to the kingdom will be way harder than it has to". The demon commented in a calm tone.- 152 replies

"Tch. Fine then" Soma clicked his tongue and replied in a somewhat irritated tone. He wasn't really surprised by the fact the AI was unable to give him the info he desired. After all, pretty much every single company with a considerable value has it's fair share of secrets to keep, and as the CEO of one, Soma understood that very well. Still, it was farely annoying for him, since he doesn't really like to act without a good grip on what was happening. His calculist and cautious nature was something he was actually quite proud of. Soma decided that, for now at least, it would be best to forget the subject and focus on understanding more about this new found digital world and what he could or should do while there. While he was pretty sure that he had the basics on how to operate the Hero OS thanks to his knowledge and experience with computers and video games, he was also curious to find out how exactly he would be putting the loadout he had select to use. "Very well... please go on then. I am curious to learn more about this program" he replied in his calm tone.

Izanagi made sure to pay close attention to every word coming out of his friend's mouth. He could tell that Deadrin was indeed very serious about what he was saying, not that Izanagi would think otherwise. After all, Deadrin wasn't really the kind of guy who would make jokes all the time, especially when it come to something so serious as this. "Don't worry, I promisse you that I won't tell anyone" Izanagi replied to his friend's warning in a equally calm yet firm voice tone. He wanted Deadrin to be absolutelly sure that he wouldn't have to worry about him spreading rumors about his real identity. That simply wasn't something that he would do to a friend since, as Izanagi himself had said before, he doesn't have many friends, so values the few one he actually has immensely. Plus, he also has his fair share of secrets to keep. After so many years travelling around the world and fighting against all sorts of creatures, Izanagi thought he had already seen a little bit of everything, but not even he was ready for what came next. Deadrin explained that his human for was nothing but a simple disguise to keep undesired looks away from him. He then gave a slight display of what he was talking about by momentarily changing the form of one of his ears and explained that he was actually an Eldyrannth, which was a race that Izanagi had never heard about. As if all of that wasn't enough, his friend finished off by explaining why those damn cultists were so certain that killing him would bring their false god back. Deadrin was the son of whoever maneged to take down Torak. It was a lot to take all at once, so much so in fact that Izanagi actually stopped mining for a few moments and took at a seat on the ground, hoping that it would somehow help him to process all of that "Wow... that... sure is a hell of a secret..." Izanagi replied as he tried to absorb all that info. He stood in silence for a few brief moments, rocolecting his thoughts on the matter. Soon, he got up again and shot Deadrin a firm and reasuring look "Well, I wasn't really expecting all of that..." he began to talk again with slight and playful chuckle at first "... but that doesn't change anything between us. Even if you are a El... Elderan- whatever. Even if you are not human, you are still my friend. And hey, I guess that means we are both outcasts right? I mean, I am also a freak and a impossibility for most people, so... heh I can't judge you" He joked a bit, trying to lighten up the conversation a bit.- 152 replies

Deadrin's answer made think a bit more about the subject while we kept on mining. Once again, I spent some time trying to come up with the correct combination of words since my friend clearly had been holding the truth about who and what he really is a secret. Which was something that I could relate and understand better than anyone. Still, asking so directly about a something like that isn't really something I would normally do. *Hey, how long will you keep this little game going huh? We both know he isn't telling you something* commented Odium in a very impatient tone *I know, but if he is hiding it then he surely has a good reason for it don't you think?* I responded the demon while strinking the rocks once again a separating some of the mineral's shards on the ground with my feet *Maybe, but he knows your secret, right? Don't you think is only fair for him to tell us his secret as well?* I mentally sighed at Odium's questions *Okay, first of all, that is not how this works. It isn't just that simple. And second of all, you are just curious to know who he really is, aren't you?* *...maybe...* I shook my head a bit in response to Odium's curiosity, then again, I guess I can't really expect him to know about how friendships really work. Demons don't have much use for that in hell anyway. After a few more brief moments thinking and mining, my curiosity finally got the best of me and I decided to ask Deadrin directly about it. I stopped mining and shot my friend a direct look, but not in a agressive way. I didn't want him to feel under pressure to give me a honest reply or to feel like I was being passive agressive towards him. "Deadrin, tell me something... who really are you?" I made extra sure to speak to him in a calm and neutral voice tone "At this point I am having serious doubts that you simply another person with very particular abilities. You are more than that, aren't you? That little... 'case' with your telepatic powers only solidified that. Can you tell me that?" I emphasized the 'can' part to make crystal clear that he didn't have to tell me anything if he didn't want to do so. Still, I was mentally prepared for a big revelation.- 152 replies

I could almost feel my brain going on a short circuit-like state when Deadrin said that he has telepatic powers. Not only because that was a huge indication that he might not be human - or at least not completely human, but also because of the 'It takes a great deal of concentration to do it properly without harming you' part. Which heavily implied that he would be able to badly hurt or even kill me while using said power. The worse part of all, is that I actually believe him. Deadrin surely isn't the kind of person who would simply babble something like that to look tough or anything of the sort. "I... see..." those were the only words I was able to say in my dumbfounded state. While I was still processing the shocking piece of information that I just heard from my friend, he then began to explain how and why he used said power to kill the cultist he had faced not long ago. While I was already sure that Deadrin would never kill an innocent person, I was a bit surprised when he said that the cultist also tryed to attack his mind and overpower it, since none of the cultist I had faced during our 'little adventure' in the mansion had that power. That was probably for the best though, since I am not really used to deal with telepatic abilities. "That is understandable" I simply replied, now in a more calm and collected tone. My attention was taken once again when Deadrin announced that he might had found just what we were looking for. After a few brief moments moments of analysis, my friend picked up a pickaxe and began the process of extracting the mineral. Taking the hint, I also picked up a pickaxe from the bag and, after a second observing the way Deadrin was holding his tool and using it, began to do the same. Not only because the wound in my friend's leg would surely make his job harder, but also because I would feel bad if I left he do all the hard work. Plus, two miners are much better than just one. In the mean time, I also began to think on how to proceed regarding my curiosity about my friend's powers and new found secrets. As much as I wanted to simply ask 'hey are you human or not?' I knew that doing that would be a bad idea for many many reasons. After a few moments thinking and choosing my words carefully, the best I could came up with was: "So uhm... were you born with those powers? or did you acquire them at some point in your life?" I did my best to keep my voice tone as neutral as possible, hopefully Deadrin would know that I wouldn't judge him regardless of his answer. Hell, even if I wanted to, I wouldn't be able to do so. I once again paid close attention to what my friend was saying. While I was fairly familiar with the part in which Deadrin spoke about the sorcerer named Torak, I was absolutely clueless about these 'Daedra' he mentioned. I had no memories whatsoever about them, but what what cought my attention the most was when Deadrin mentioned that cultists think that he is somehow involved with the Daedra. At that point I was reminded of when we were separated by the falling boulders and when I was about to cut my way through them, Deadrin's voice simply popped in my head and told me to don't do it, since it would likely cause the whole cavern to fall on our heads. I already knew that was far more to my friend than meets the eye, but that was the first time I actually began to question myself about the possibility of him being something else besides human. However, I pushed those thoughts asside for now "I hope you are right. Fighting inside this cave in pretty hard since there isn't much space and hitting the walls or ceiling can cause it to collapse" I replied in a serious and calm tone "Came on now, let's go back to looking for kraerhil. I don't want to stay here for any longer than necessary" I made sure to stay close to Deadrin since that wound on his leg was clearly making hard for him to move and, if at any point he needed some support, staying close to him would allow me to help as soon as possible. Plus I didn't want to get separated from again, given his current situation. "Let me know if the wound is hurting too much, we can always take a little break if necessary". As we spent some time walking around and looking for the mineral, the memories and questions about how was Deadrin capable of 'talking' to me the way he did back when we were first separated *Something on your mind? you seem to be very intrigued by something* asked Odium. At that point he knew better than anyone when I had too many thoughts in my head *Yeah, do you remember when those boulders fell and Deadrin talked to me in that weird way? It was almost like he was directly inside my mind. The firt thing that came to my mind was telepathy but, even thought, we had faced a few telepactic beings before, the feeling was completely different* *Well, you know that there is only one way to get a definitive answer, right?* I mentally sighed and began to carefully think on the best way to ask my friend about it, since I knew he was a men of many secrets. After a few more moments I finally decided to break the silence "Hey Deadrin... do you remember back when we got separated by the rocks falling from the ceiling?" I began to speak in a somewhat careful tone "Back then you were somehow able to talk me in a weird way. I felt as if you voice was inside my very own mind... if you don't mind me asking, how did you do that?"- 152 replies
