Though I've lived in the same city for my whole life, I've moved 3 times. Times are tough. Anyway, the second move by far put me in the worst situation. My grandmother and I moved in with my aunt and one of my cousins. Things were fine at first. We got along, had fun, and were civil to each other. I can't remember the moment everything went wrong; frankly, just mentioning this is making me uncomfortable. But I can definitely recall the 3 worst experiences of living with them. My cousin was the one who did the damage. He has a short temper, violent tendancies, and access to various weapons. Not a good combination. First, there was the day our internet went out. By necessity, the modem for the internet was kept in my cousin's bedroom. See, he had a desktop computer, so he needed to connect it directly to the modem to get internet access; he couldn't use wi-fi, like the rest of us. He didn't want anybody in his bedroom without permission, no matter the reason. So, try to imagine this. You're somewhere you know you aren't supposed to be, but you don't need to be there for long. Just long enough to press a button, then leave. Then, you hear the front door open. You pray it's anybody but who you think it is. Your aunt. Your grandmother. A burglar with a gun; ANYBODY but your violent cousin. Then, you hear something else. "You're fucked!" In an instant, he's upon you, connecting with blow after blow. The beating only lasts a few seconds, and is followed by a screaming match, in which you desperately try to defend your actions, to no avail. Nobody else is home; nobody can help you. It's you and this monster. I'm thankful he didn't shoot me, or break my phone. But my stomach hurt for days afterwards, and one of his punches busted my lip open. I later found out that he knew I'd do that, and set me up. I wasn't the target of the next one, but it was still scary. I honestly forget what set this off, but this was a fight between him and my grandmother. While I didn't see the fight, I heard it, and locked my bedroom door to keep him away. He broke my grandmother's phone, threw hot noodles at her, and spit in her face. Not to mention the raging and swearing. With my phone by my side, I dialed 911. In case you were wondering why I didn't do that during the last incident, rest assured it wouldn't have helped. Police did show up, but, despite my insistence that he was in possession of drugs and a firearm, nothing was done. Likely the most scared I've ever been was when I broke my cousin's prized mortar and pestle. He kept them on a shelf in the bathroom. I had just gotten out of the shower, and grabbed my underwear, which I had put on that shelf, as well. Suddenly, I heard something shatter. No. God dammit, NO!! The stick part - I forget what it's called - hit the tile floor and broke into 2 pieces. I thought, without exaggeration, that would be my last day alive. I wanted to run. To run and not look back until I was sure this demon couldn't find me. My grandmother, much to my horror, ordered that I tell my cousin the truth. So I did. Honestly, I'm still surprised I'm alive to type this. He screamed at me, and threatened to kick my throat in. But he never actually struck. He insisted that what I broke was irreplaceable, despite my telling him that I had found plenty more online that I was willing to buy as a replacement. We made up last Christmas, but I still have flashbacks. My grandmother and I moved to an apartment complex, where we live now. I actually don't live too far away from that house. I don't dare go back. I accidentally had something shipped there, because I forgot to change my shipping address online. Whoever lives there now can keep it.

Thank you, sir! I actually wasn't aware of that service. I'll keep that information in mind. I needed to make a signature anyway, to be honest. XD That's all I want; just letting us put our gamer monikers on our profiles. ^_^ -

I love that Dreamers have the ability to display their Steam name on their profile, among other things. But not everybody has Steam or Discord. My suggestion is for Dreamers to also have the ability to display their online gaming IDs on their profiles, as well. Examples would be PSN name, XBox 360/One Gamertag, and 3DS Friend Code. -
DL? Absolutely! I'm a HUGE fan of ABDL!

Pokémon The Movie: I Choose You!

I regret to inform you, the Ash in this movie is Sun/Moon Ash. They did not return to classic designs. Except for Brock and Misty; they're back to "normal." -
Pokémon The Movie: I Choose You!
ArdillaVerde93 replied to ArdillaVerde93's topic in Personal Stories
I cry at the first, fourth, fifth, and sixth movies. Plus, obviously, Temple Of The Sea. But I don't recall any of them hitting as deep or hard as I Choose You. I was still beside myself leaving the theatre. I posted the aftermath on Facebook. If you can stifle a cry - I cried into my shirt - go for it. If you cry loudly, I'd wait for a home video release. -
I mentioned in a status update that I've been a fan of Pokémon since I was 4. As such, I have been a fan for 20 years of its currently 21-year existance in the US. People say it's just a cartoon for little kids. You know what else is? My Little Pony. And look where that franchise is today. Tom And Jerry, Scooby Doo, and SpongeBob SquarePants are "just" cartoons. That doesn't mean they aren't popular. Pokémon has had a massive impact on my life. It taught me to read. My war veteran grandfather and I played together, and even traded Pokémon! I cried at Bye Bye Butterfree, and I still do. I cried for a half hour straight after Pokémon Ranger And The Temple Of The Sea. When my cousin moved back from Michigan, the first thing we talked about was Pokémon. When my dad caught me smuggling something, it wasn't drugs. It was a copy of Pokémon Silver from his house. So, obviously, I wasn't about to miss the 20th anniversary movie. Only 2 theatres in my hometown of Sarasota, Florida, were showing it. Hollywood 20 and AMC. I chose the AMC, as a ticket was cheaper there. 2 of my 3 younger brothers accompanied me. One 17, the other 7. There was not at all any question that we would enjoy it. The 17-year-old ordered a large slushie, and the 7-year-old had a kid's meal. I ordered a cheeseburger slider combo meal. That, unfortunately, was a bad decision. It had to be cooked, and I missed the first 2 minutes. The 17-year-old assured me that all I missed was essentially Nidorino vs. Gengar, a la the Red and Blue intro. What I did see was nothing short of phenomenal, and those 2 minutes are no longer too big of a deal. About 10 minutes in, the opening credits start, accompanied by a heart-pounding rendition of the original Pokémon theme, which I lip-synced as fervently as if I was singing it at a rock concert. I had assumed that the movie would be a retelling of the Indigo League arc of the Pokémon anime. It was, but only partially. You all know the story by now. A 10-year-old begins a journey through the Kanto region with a Pikachu. But SO much more happens! Brock and Misty are nowhere to be seen until the end credits. But Ash has 2 friends from Sinnoh who follow him. One of them happens to be the daughter of Cynthia, the Sinnoh League champion. All 3 have aspirations. Ash, of course, wants to be a Pokémon master. The girl wants her mother's acceptance. And the boy wants to become a Pokémon professor. The girl has a Piplup, and the boy has a Lucario. So, the 3 go on a journey, as would be expected. But Ash is in possession of a Rainbow Wing. Basically, a feather from Ho-Oh. In the first episode, Ash saw Ho-Oh. The movie is basically about him chasing Ho-Oh, as well as friends and experience. He meets an abandoned Charmander, soon seen to belong to an absolute dick who kicks it when it tries to hug him. This is based on an episode, and becomes a big plot point. Ash wants to show him there are no worthless Pokémon. Along the way, Ash is followed by Marshadow, who eventually becomes the main antagonist. Ash breaks free from Marshadow's corruption, leaving Marshadow to look elsewhere for a host. Unfortunately, in the climax, Marshadow gets ahold of the Rainbow Wing, and gains massive power from it. I won't spoil the climax beyond that. It has to be seen to be believed. I spent the last half of the movie not just crying, but sobbing. Pretty much from their re-creation of Bye Bye Butterfree to the end. My 7-year-old brother repeatedly told me "it's okay." Do I recommend this movie? Fuck. Yes. Do you love Pokémon? You'll be on the edge of your seat throughout the thrilling, theatre-shaking battles. Do you hate Pokémon? Then watch it, to see what you're missing. It's not just a cartoon. It's a heart-wrenching masterpiece that it should be criminal to miss.

I love the idea of the Dreamer Of The Month. But I would like to see it have more meaning. Perhaps a little star or ribbon on the lucky Dreamer's profile. As it is, the only mention given is an easily missed notification. I won't go into specifics, but I will say that, if I had known earlier that I was DOTM, it would've saved my position, and prevented a huge fight and devastating sadness.

To think it only started a week ago. During breakfast on Tuesday, I was told that a Category 5 hurricane was moving towards Florida. Being astraphobic - pathologically afraid of bad weather, especially involving thunder and lightning - I am well-versed in hurricanes. Their intensity is measured by the Saffir-Simpson Scale, which assigns them a number from 1 to 5. The higher the number, the faster the winds are. I've lived through 3 hurricanes, if Irma isn't included. In 2004, Florida was hit by 3 hurricanes in succession. Charley, Frances, and Ike, not necessarily in that order. But a Category 5? That worried me. To put this into perspective, the devastating Sandy was only a Category 3! This historical storm was called "Hurricane Irma." We stocked up on supplies, but I wasn't at all convinced I would survive. News outlets and family members were painting a doomsday scenario. The days went by, and, though the storm was weakening, it was still assumed to be capable of producing damage that, by the news, was called catastrophic. Then, it happened. For all of Sunday, the wind was howling, and my bedroom windows were being battered by flying debris. Our electricity cut off several times, only to return seconds later. Even my All-Hazards radio, which is DESIGNED to work in a hurricane, couldn't pick up a clear signal. Needless to say, I was not well-rested the next morning. But Irma never produced any lightning near my house. So I wasn't as scared as I should've been. I didn't get to sleep until perhaps 4 in the morning, and I awoke at 10. When I walked out into the living room, I fully expected to see the front yard destroyed. But it wasn't! Sure, there were leaves and twigs scattered around, and a couple of broken branches. But the storm was over. I had survived! Our power, water, and internet were all operational, save for one of the bathrooms. It appeared the circuit breaker was damaged, but it was fixed in an hour or 2. Now, all I worry about is when the mail will resume service. I have several packages on the way. Selfish, I know. But, knowing the true danger has passed, I can't help but worry about comparatively less important things. I'm safe for now, but Hurricane Jose is next. I'm not worried, though. Almost all forecasts have it breaking up before touching Florida.

Welcome! My dream girl? Hmm... I have a few, but I'd rather not say. It's embarrassing. XD Anyway, I hope you enjoy your time here!~
-
That's definitely been a while. To be fair, though, I live in a vacation destination. XD When was the last time you injured yourself - purposely or accidentally - in an embarrassing way, or were injured in an embarrassing body part? Not necessarily the genitalia, though that is allowed.

You seem very inviting. You've come to the right place!~ Welcome to EcchiDreams, Haruhi!~ -
I think boy bands get too much hate. When you think about it, a lot of super popular bands are, by definition, boy bands. A good example is one of my favourite bands, Bon Jovi. All of their members are male. What, besides popularity, separates them from, say, The New Kids On The Block? Both bands are still active, after all.

Neither can I. I think DLC is actually a wonderful thing, and a great way to keep older games relevant. I'll gladly pay a few bucks for new characters or features.

Literally within 10 minutes. Stars & Stripes Lemon Lime. A nice imitation of Sprite/7Up/Sierra Mist. Mixed it with strawberry lemonade. ^_^ When was the last time you used something meant for survival? Pump flashlight, pocket knife, etc. Whether or not you used it in such a situation.

I'm shy, too, but I realised that, at 23, I need to be myself. If you live your life the way "normal" people want you to, you aren't living your life; you're living theirs.

Hmm? What does the Q stand for? Anyway, like I implied, I'm a femboi, too! I take it to the extreme, though. Makeup, nail polish, Hello Kitty skin on my PS4,... The whole 9 yards! <3

Ah! So, would you consider yourself a femboi? Nice to have another here; welcome, Sunny!~

Welcome, nexremeo! I certainly hope you enjoy your time here!~

Things You Can Say About... But Not Your Partner.

Sorry, but Pepsi. It has a brighter taste. Coke is great, but it tastes noticeably sweeter, and... muddy, for lack of a better term. I haven't had RC Cola, though it is widely available, so I have no opinion on that.

Without a doubt, crossdressing. What I wouldn't give to walk around wearing a dress... <3 Have a Pokémon battle against Ash Ketchum, or play a game of Yu-Gi-Oh against Yugi Muto?
