For the last 1,000 people remaining, scientist have taken a subject known as G10. ME(G10):G10, also known as Gio, was the tenth and so far only successful experiment to make a Human woman Mates with a hound.   6. Robin's eyes went wide and she stumbled a little to move out of the way as the couple fled the room. "Sorry!" she meekly called after then, her dark eyebrows knit in concern. She wondered if Dylan was in pain.   7. As I was re-reading my posts, I felt like the whole Pentacles act needed a wrap up, a summary. Something for me to come back to later. Act One - Closing Reflection, in character I awoke in the dust and silence of a chapel that felt more like a watchful witness than a sanctuary.   15. Justice The Justice tarot card is a symbol of truth, fairness, and law. Also, since I had no idea what kind of world I wanted to play in, I used Mythic to generate 2 civilization descriptions: Fearful, and Religious. and then went to the genre wheel to pick a genre where I ended up with... Western. So... a western setting in a town that's fearful and religious, and in the past I was represented by Justice, truth, fairness, and law. Sounds a bit too much like real life to me lol Let's see what I can do with that.

I went ahead and started this this evening, I confess I had not read anything more than the description at itch.io before I began this play-through, so special thanks go to @IsabellaRose for accepting the challenge and prompting me to get something played. A word about the seemingly cryptic title of this topic. Anamnesis begins with drawing a Major Arcana as a Shadow that represents who you were before your memory loss.   18. Act Two Reflection Well, I feel like this character is developing into something I hadn't quite expected. Perhaps some sort of avenging angel? I don't really know, but the fact that "you did this to yourself" feels very personal, like I'm trying to tell myself something about my own life through this roleplay... which I think happens more often than not with these journaling games.   19. Next draw: Ace of Swords and The Chariot. The Ace of Swords: You take in the sights, sounds, and smells of the town around you. How does the town make you feel? Does it feel like home? The Chariot is, again, about progress through disciplined effort, That doesn't feel like an innate sense of belonging. It's worth pointing out that at the end of Act 1 I shuffled all the Major Arcana back into the deck. The rules weren't explicit about it and I made the conscious decision to shuffle it in because in a story about someone recovering their memories, they, or the Shadow of who they think they are, might arise. And argument about something she needed to fix, even though the failure wasn't hers. The next draw is the Queen of Swords and The Fool. You pause at a building and realize you used to work here.   22. I think it's interesting that we both came up with the notion of this intimate, probably handmade, adornment. I did it with the ring. I wonder, does this say something about how the memories of things are attached to where we got them? It's interesting how clear and deliberate @IsabellaRose's story is - mine meanders. I think it's a function of both Isabella's intent as a writer and her (I presume) typing her responses contrasted to my very visceral scrawling, disjointed thoughts. Ink on paper, I think, forces a kind of immediacy because second thoughts and revision leave scars.

I have a spreadsheet of Tarot cards that includes colors, directions, seasons, herbs, gemstones and the traditional meanings of cards.   30. So, the playthroughs have started and I really love what @IsabellaRose is doing by posting hers with the prompts, draws and her reactions. I didn't do that - rather I wrote about the process instead of recording the result. I much prefer playing a submissive role, though that doesn't mean all my characters are push-overs. I love to have a well rounded character with a personality that allows for interactions to be more realistic.   43. I would say that I am a competent switch capable of playing either the role of a dom or sub without any discomfort. The only caveat is that I will not be writing as a female due to me not being able to get into the headspace of what a women actually would be like. I love playing as a femboy when I am the sub, but I will make the character more bratty, defiant, and promiscuous instead of a pushover. Post lengths will vary depending on my partner’s preferred style, but I usually do a minimum of three paragraphs!
