I forgot to comment on this part, sorry... TL;DR: unless Edmund wants to cast a spell of some sort, you would only roll your Value + Relationship dice. I don't see a Distinction that would apply otherwise. Detailed explanation: For the Value, you're looking at the core word, but also at the statement you made. Edmund's view of Power is that "The power of my will is the only power that matters." So yes, we can definitely use that Value. You could have also used Truth, since Aldert is clearly trying to muddle and play with the truth of the situation, and Edmund's Truth value says "Truth exists, lies are invented." For2 points

There's no need to wait - there's no "ideal party" to build. PbtA doesn't really work that way, it's very fiction forward and player driven, a lot of this is going to be the players telling me what happens, so there's no "best fit for the party" in the same way that many games work. If you just want to wait to get some idea of who your character will be interacting with and what might look cool on screen, it's fine - but the story works without a meat shield, healer, DPS type or anything.1 point

Well, Micori was taking an unusual approach here. Slightly in the way, not really bothering Canata though. “Just might take an extra moment or two find the right approach with her help.” Keeping’s things a little unpredictable could be a little fun. Kaida and Nymphia had already given in. Mitsuko was close enough to not be shaken out of it so easily. See whether Micori waited a bit to give Mitsuko some attention. She was the center of this, who all three of them hoped to please but it was a group after all. Canata would not be upset if the other demon was a little distracted with her.
