I'm not the only one who was trying to help. That just makes this more sad, right? Zelnath appeared to be more afraid of the Humans than they were of the giant wolf. Mina couldn't really blame her. Humans often times were not good. Even she had had some unsavory run-ins with them in the past. And if they had captured either of the two, well, her fate would not have been much different.
