It's not just you, sometimes it's just really hard to find partners, you have to be patient and cast a large net in my experience, finding good ones is just a matter of luck.

Don't be afraid to approach people directly. Most people just make a search post and wait, and then wonder why they're not finding partners. Never know unless you try, if you come across someone you might jive with.

you can make requests in the appropriate bulletin, but i'd also reach out to people i'm interested in. just check their preferences to ensure they match yours to avoid getting turned down as much as possible ! it also depends on what you're looking for. certain pairings and kinks are far more popular than others. if you're willing to try new things, i'm sure you'll have partners in no time. just remember to not force yourself into something you're not at all into.

if you have a preferences sheet, list it on your profile. there should be an open spot in the account settings for you to paste the link. so people can see your kinks and limits and how long your replies are, etc. helps them gauge if your interests match and gives them an idea of what your writing is like. it also makes your profile look complete.

promoting other websites for roleplay is against TOS. ecchi is my favourite platform to write on anyway. i've never had this much fun being a part of a roleplaying community and i recommend sticking around, even if you haven't found many partners yet. if you're having trouble with your preferences, i'd recommend contacting staff in case there's a bug there. i'm sure as soon as your profile is fully set up and you start making more posts, people will come to you. it's also a matter of what you're looking for because some kinks and pairings are more popular than others.

idk what you mean by site then ? like an external source where you can do preferences ? i don't think that's allowed either. besides, you should be able to link your preference sheet on your profile in the account settings. make sure it's the correct link and that you save. if you're still having trouble, or if it's not working, contact the staff. there might be a bug there.

i think you may have used the editing link because i get a  " you cannot edit this profile " message when i click your preferences. try going to forums and preferences, find your preferences as a post and use that link. don't edit it or anything. just the link from viewing it. that ought to work.
