I've made my introduction of Terry and Beat Down, but do not plan on them interacting with anyone until the alien attack begins. I will say, reading through the current posts, it feels like the first post is supposed to convey a nervous, quiet stillness, but there's explosions and debris and buildings on fire and looting and people bouncing around... I think, for people's sanity, it might be good to get the attack going now that you have approximately six participants, and keeping to smaller pairings or trios so new players can just jump in during the fight and pair off more easily. The high-pitched beep of the truck in reverse pierced the air, the only sound in the stillness towards the center of it all. While there were still looters and criminals throughout the city, this was the frontline of R.E.D.I.'s defense, all civilians long since evacuated, nothing but a calm stillness as regular humans armed with high-tech weaponry gripped their weapons, eyes gazing up towards the whirling storm above and the alien vessel that loomed threateningly. Guilty. I still have game consoles from when I was a kid and the games I bought for them. Granted, it's not the largest collection out there, but I'm not exactly getting rid of anything even as some of it sits in storage. Even if it takes me until I'm in a retirement home (hahahahahaha like I'll ever get to retire) I'm going to have a set up with a CRT for retro and HD for "modern" and live through the glory days as intended just as much as the new stuff. Not guilty. I quit drinking soft drinks years ago. I have a whole snake oil rant about soda and soft drinks in general that I won't launch into now, but the only non-alcoholic things I drink now are water, unsweetened iced tea, and black coffee. Do what you'd like, I say. Though also consider that some people haven't even been online for a few days that are in this group. Some folks won't have been able to see anything new, and you want to make sure you don't post so much that it'll be overwhelming when they sign back in.
