Technology Level This post outlines the kind of technology that would be found in human colonies, stations, outposts and ships. If you have any suggestions as to what kind of technology can be in here, then please send me an EcchiText so that we can discuss it. Credit will be given, unless you ask for otherwise. Everyday technology: Computers in these days are quite small and powerful (compared to what you and I are familiar with) and are able to easily handle basic AI programming that is useful, but not too intelligent for it to become a problem. Uses often range from helping run stations, to helping pilots create special ‘programs’ such as scans and flight maneuvers. Most, if not all, consoles are multi-point touch screen and are quite accurate in that respect allowing users to use an on screen keyboard to interface with the device. A separate keyboard can be used, but it is not a necessity. Station and ship computers have voice commands, allowing the user to dictate to the computer what they want from simple commands like turning off the lights, to more complicated demands such as searching for a particular subject. Humans do not have holographic technology, but they do have a similar piece of technology called Virtual Environment Reality, or VER for short, which are light projections. These projections aren’t solid, and can easily have matter pass through them. This technology originated from an old UFF corporation by the name of Keza Corp, and it has become mainstream technology for humans. It is public technology, meaning that no corporation can have a monopoly on it. Various corporations have tweaked the technology, adapting it slightly for whatever they want to use it for, whether it is to project an image on a wall, or to have an image floating in mid-air. This technology allows for people to have items like picture frames with moving images, or windows that show a augmented reality. Humans also have tablets that are used in everyday situations. The tablets that they use are far more powerful than the ones we are familiar with. They are very slim, only a few millimeters thick, and have a large storage capacity. There is an even more lightweight version. It is made of clear plastic, and is flexible where the writing and images can be marked on. These are often used to produce reports such as military or political reports. They are as cheap as normal tablets are to produce and sell, but they are less hardy than solid tablets. Starship technology: At this point in time, humans have not yet developed anti-gravity technology. Thus, most stations and large ships have a rotating section that generates gravity on board the ship to allow for the occupants to walk around like they would on earth. This often means that smaller vessels have no gravity technology, thus occupants are usually left floating around in freefall unless they strap themselves into their seat. That said, most freelancers buy artificial gravity technology from alien traders and install them into their ships so that they’re able to walk around comfortably. But as of yet, humans have not cracked that particular secret. But being able to obtain the technology from alien traders allows characters to have anti-gravity technology in their ships, if they so wish. FTL technology: The main FTL technology that humans utilise is subspace travel, which allows a ship to enter subspace and arrive at a destination faster than travelling through normal space. A ship can travel roughly at 5LY/h (Light Years per Earth Hour) through subspace. There are special navigation beacons throughout subspace that guide ships to their destinations, and most important locations like the Sol system and Churchill’s Legacy system have special subspace gates that make it easier for ships to exit sub-space. Small ships often do not have the capability to jump into subspace as they are too small to contain the technology required. They usually have to use one of the subspace jump gates or tag along with a larger ship which can encompass smaller vessels in its subspace jump reach. Communications technology: There are two main types of long distance communications technology. There is the subspace communications, which uses subspace to send messages from one location to another. While quicker than sending a message through space, it isn’t instantaneous and doesn’t allow for direct two-way conversations at great distances. The further a location is, the longer the message will take. For every ten light years, it adds an eighth of a second delay. The second type of communication is much rarer, due to the expensive price of the technology involved. It involves the rare Black Crystal, harvested on Ballybran by the Heptite Guild. When the crystal is subjected to certain magnetic stresses, then the crystal will open a link to a targeted black crystal and allow for instantaneous communication between two or more locations, regardless to the distance between the two crystals. Due to the high price of these crystals, due to their rarity, they are only really seen in large ships and stations of those that can afford them. Mobile phone technology has also advanced with the times as well. They cannot, as of yet, be used in an interstellar capacity, but they are a lot more powerful and durable than they used to be. Humans are still obsessed with their apps and their mobile games and thus most mobiles are a handheld device. Most people tend to have it tied in with an ear-piece that is similar to bluetooth in that it is a hands-free device, allowing them to easily make phone calls without taking out their phone. Video communications is also a lot more common in these times, although due to the delay with subspace against vast distances, it can be a cumbersome way to have a two way conversation. There are some other forms of communication technology, mainly employed by the military. It is a small comms unit that can be stuck on the back of the hand. It is thin and lightweight, and allows the user to contact others that are on the same network link, such as other important personnel on a station. These devices are isomorphic, as in they will only work with the person they are assigned to, and can’t be used by just anyone who is able to steal the device. It is a quick and efficient way for individuals to talk to one another in an official capacity. These communications are encrypted, and not for public listening.- 6 replies

Human Economy The current human economy has moved away from the fiat economy that it had years ago in its past. Such a economy was unstable and often had frequent crashes, resulting in recessions that kept billions of people in poverty. Since then, humans have moved to a currency that is based upon the price of Gold and other precious metals such as Platinum and Osmium. The value of which is determined by how much it costs to extract the metals from whatever planet or asteroid they are being harvested from. This change was spearheaded by the likes of President Temaerius, beginning in the United States of America before other countries followed suit. Humans now use a currency that they call ‘Credits’ and is universal across all human territories due to the treaties that they have drawn up between the various governments. One alternative name for ‘Credits’ is ‘Earth Credits’ as that is where the credit originated from. Not only that, but they are sometimes referred to as ‘Human Credit’, as other alien species may use a currency that translates to ‘Credit’. There are numerous large corporate entities out in the Universe, and a few will be named below. If you wish to add one to the list, then please send me an EcchiText with all the relevant information about them including a link to the extra information if there is one. EDANCorp EDANCorp has been with Earth for a very long time, and originated from the country of Ashaea. By now it is a huge corporation that dabbles in just about everything from technology, to food production. It is one of the biggest omni-corporations that exists within the human civilisation, that has thousands of child companies underneath its umbrella. It is hard to find a human that has not heard of EDANCorp, as they are involved in every human colony and outpost, providing products and services from the everyday citizen, to the military. They are an extremely rich corporation, that is able to easily expand into any system they wish. They even have their own star system, where their headquarters is located. System Name: EDAN’s Heart Stars: One G-class Star by the name of Aslas Type: Corporate Defence: Corporate Security Details: The Star system has ten planets, six of them being Gas Giants with a number of moons each. The Third and Fourth planet of the system are habitable, with great cities across their surfaces. The third planet, called Elara, is the warmer of the two plants due to its closeness to the system Star. It has a lot of agricultural industry on its surface, as the weather conditions are perfect for the growth of crops and the care of animals. The fourth planet, Elia is the cooler of the two and contains most of the technological industry. There are also shipyards within the system that produce both military and civilian spaceships that are sold throughout the human civilisation. Extra information thread: Link! Heptite Guild The Heptite Guild is an Corporation within the Andromeda Galaxy under the umbrella of the ExoSinian Eldyr Corporation, a Corporation hailing from the Epsus Galaxy. The Heptite Guild is a mining colony, that only has around four-thousand miners and twenty-thousand support staff. They mine the unique crystals that had formed on the planet millions of years ago. These crystals are widely used in advanced technology from space ship drives, to instantaneous communication across the universe. Despite the usefulness of the crystals, they are banned from actively recruiting in human-owned territories due to the dangers of mining the crystal along with the fact that once someone is down on the planet, only the crystal miners (alternative name: Crystal Singers) can leave the planet if they have mined enough. However they must always return, otherwise they end up dying. Customers cannot buy the crystal directly from the Heptite Guild. Instead, they must go to a station nearby in the Vestibule of Enlightenment system to purchase them. System name: Scoria Stars: One G-class Star by the name of Scoria Type: Corporate System Defence: ExoSinian Order Corporate Security Details: The Scoria system only has one habitable planet within the system. The fifth planet from the star, called Ballybran. Is has a silicon based ecosystem, and most of its land masses are covered in the crystal ranges. These crystal ranges are so vast, that glare from the starlight reflecting off of the crystals can be seen from space. There are numerous structures on the planet surface, however they seem small to an initial glance. However it is the case that most of the structures are built within the ground due to the dangers that the planet has such as the Mach storms, where winds reach terrific speeds that can tear craft apart and easily pick up a human and fling them around like a rag doll. The wind also strokes against the crystals in the ranges, creating sonic harmonics that cause significant damage to the eardrums of those exposed as well as sending them insane. The planet has a Code Four on it, completely banning any kind of craft from landing on its surface without their express permission as the Heptite Guild own the entire planet and its moons. Any starships must visit the Shankill Moon Base, where there are shuttles that go between the moon base and the planet surface. Extra information thread: Link! PsyCorp PsyCorp is a corporation that operates in all of Earth Alliance’s territories, including the very smallest of their colonies. They have no home star system, and instead have headquarters in every colony, with the Prime HQ on Earth, in the city of Washington. They recruit individuals that have telepathic abilities and deploy them in various departments within the corporation which will be listed below. PsyCorp also train and help telepaths to refine their abilities and to better control them so that they don’t hurt themselves, or others. Ninety-eight percent of all graduates join PsyCorps due to the number of jobs that they offer. As telepathy is often a genetic trait, children raised by telepaths that work for PsyCorp often get first chance at education and training access. The PsyCorp has a very good medical insurance policy, able to insure their employees against all medical contingencies. They also provide housing for most of their employees, as well as education for their children. Due to the fact that the PsyCorp has most of the telepaths on their payroll, telepaths who are not registered with them are treated with a certain amount of suspicion as most known telepaths that are not registered, are criminals. PsyCorp Departments: Commercial: These are telepaths who help corporations with trade dealings. They are often present during negotiations and help mediate between the two parties. With the consent of the two parties, they will keep an eye on surface emotions and intents and indicate whether a person is lying, being truthful or hiding something. PsyCop: A telepath who works with Law Enforcement, as well as for security for the corporation. For those that work in Law Enforcement, they are often referred to as ‘Hunters’ as they specifically deal with cases involving rogue telepaths who use their abilities for criminal intents such as illegal scans, illegal information gathering, and causing harm to others. Research: Telepaths who help various corporations and individuals with research, from scientific, to medical, to archaeological. Education: These telepaths work within PsyCorp. They are the ones responsible for training and education telepaths within their care.- 6 replies

Government Structure This section aims to inform you the main leaders that exist within the Earth Alliance Governmental structure. In this year of 2536, the Earth Government structure has had a drastic change. One of the key things to note, of which will be expanded further in the History section of this thread, is that the United Nations no longer exists. Instead, Earth now exists as a Republic Federation called The Earth Alliance. Earth is split into seven main Republican Continental States which are further split down into countries. The Governmental structures of other territories will be explained in the territory section of this Lore thread. This post will focus purely on Earth. Please note that while these characters are NPC, they are only subject to being roleplayed by either myself or Temaelrin since they are actually characters that belong to us. But for the purpose of this Roleplay, they are featured NPCs. Federal President Name: Temaerius Churchill Territory: Planet Earth. Information: President Temaerius has had a long and successful political career. He is a forward-thinking man who takes no bullshit and has never uttered a single lie to those that he represents. He has an extremely strong sense of honour and to date he has never broken a single political promise. He is most famous for his first Presidential run of the United States of America. He seemed to come from nowhere, taking America by storm with big promises of returning America to being the Land of the Free. He also revealed a plan to redo the American Constitution, replacing it with the document of Universal Rights to Life, like what the UFF and the Ashaean’s had. It would expand greatly on individualistic freedoms while limiting the Government and its over-reach into the lives of everyday citizens. He also promised to do away with organisations that spied on the general population and to bring to justice corrupt politicians. Needless to say, he was voted into office with an overwhelming majority in not only electoral vote but the popular vote. He absolutely slaughtered both the Republican and Democrat candidates in the election. His first act as President, was to carry out the Constitutional Reform and putting it into power. This had come at great criticism from his political opponents however the public were not on their side and it was later revealed that these critics were actually working with an alien force to subjugate Earth. His Presidency was marked by success, after success after success especially after the Economic Reforms that went away with Fiat based currency and went back to a Gold standard credit. By the time he was finished in Office, the economy was booming, homelessness had decreased, crime had a dramatic decrease, drug use plummeted and public confidence in the Government was at an all-time high. He was succeeded by his child, Darius Churchill as he went on to greater things. Not long after leaving the office, he became married to the former President of Russia, Talicia Lindemann. He began work in helping to unify the Earth under a single Government, but allowing each nation to keep their individualistic values instead of all becoming one homogenous group. To this end, he also worked with Talius Lindemann, the President of the European Union. They began to set up the Earth Alliance which was formed with the first election occuring in 2530. Temaerius ran for the position of President with Talius as his Vice President, being voted in world-wide with eighty percent of the votes. First Lady Name: Talicia Churchill (Maiden name: Lindemann) Territory: Planet Earth Information: Like her husband, Talicia has had a long successful political career. Her history states that she hails from Germany and became a citizen of Russia. At first she ran small time for various offices but she quickly rose ranks within Russian politics to become the Russian President during the time her husband was the American President. Like her husband to be, she introduced the Universal Rights to Life Act to cover all sentient species within her borders. She helped the economy boom, reduced homelessness, crime and drug problems including alcoholism and helped improved Russia’s relationship with the rest of the world. She left office around the same time as Temaerius, leaving Russia in the capable hands of one of her highly trained politicians whom she had worked very closely with. Not long afterwards, she married Temaerius and helped him achieve his goal of uniting Earth under one banner without the stranglehold of globalism. She then helped her husband with his political campaign for the First President of the Earth Alliance, and become the First Lady. Vice Federal President Name: Talius Lindemann Territory: Planet Earth Information: Talius Lindemann originates from Germany, in Europe and is the twin brother of Talicia. Much like Temaerius, he has a very strong sense of honour and is a very down to earth individual who listens closely to the needs of the people and never turns a deaf ear to them. Like his sister, he started off small time, but gradually ran through the ranks of politics until he had enough support to start his own party; The German Universal Party. Despite its name, it wasn’t a globalistic party. They were rather nationalistic and focused on improving the lives of everyday civilians in the country of Germany. The name came from the fact that he promised to bring in the Universal Rights to Life Act to protect the Rights of Individuals within Germany. During his time as party leader, he became married to a very attractive young woman by the name of Sarah, who become his wife; Sarah Lindemann. He ran for the position of President of Germany, while his wife ran for the position of Chancellor. His critics slandered the two of them for this, but the general population didn’t pay much attention. The two won in a landslide, and together they were able to install the Universal Rights to Life Act and Germany entered a golden age. Talius served two terms in office, for a total of ten years. He then went on to become the President of the European Union, drastically changing it so that it devolved more power back to individual countries and returning it to the trade agreement that it once was. He helped Europe to become prosperous and to improve their relationship worldwide. He then stepped down, leaving the position in the very capable hands of his son, Hunter Lindemann along with his husband, Temaerah Lindemann. It wasn’t long after he had left the position of President of the EU, when he was approached by Temaerius Churchill who wanted him to become the Vice President of their global Federal Government which had the aim of uniting all the nations on Earth without taking away their sovereignty as independent states. Talius agreed to work with him, and when Temaerius won the Presidency, Talius became his Vice President. -x-x-x-x-x- Name: Temaelia Churchill Territory: The Great America (USA and South America) Information: Temaelia is the man who replaced Dalius after his Presidential terms were up. Temaelia is a son of Temaerius and Talicia. His political career has been just as successful as his father’s, strong in his commitment to uphold the Universal Rights and the American Constitution. His time as President has been focused mainly on keeping the economy running, and improving the education system for the next generation, to ensure that they have the best education available to them which would allow them to become qualified in whatever field that they wish to. He’s a deeply conservative man, with deeply ingrained morals. He is still a compassionate man, but prefers to help the needy through charity rather than taxing everyone in order to give out welfare. As such, he has almost abolished the welfare system, which now only supports the genuine sick and disabled. He is a hardworking man, and likes to do things personally. Despite growing up with a prestigious family, he had the values of hard work instilled into him. He likes to listen to those he was voted to represent. He has a wife called Talusia Churchill and they have two children with each other. -x-x-x-x-x- Name: Franklin Churchill Territory: The Great British Empire (UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand) Information: Franklin is named after his great-great-grandfather, Franklin Churchill who was the President of Ashaea who in turn was a descendant of Winston Churchill so he has a very famous lineage. He became the Prime Minister at the age of forty-two and has currently only served one term. Like his ancestors, he has a stiff upper lip and can remain firm and unyielding in even the most distressing of circumstances. He wants the best for his people and genuinely cares for their wellbeing. He is determined to protect his borders, and to protect his people from invasion. He is a good friend of the Federal President and Vice President and helped them with the Earth Alliance as the British Empire is one of the most influential countries on the planet. He has a dry sense of humour, and a sharp wit. He is strong on the concept of individualism, and wants to try and make his government as small as possible, without compromising the safety of his citizens. His wife is called Mary Churchill and they have seven children together. -x-x-x-x-x- Name: Hunter Lindemann Territory: The European Union (Countries that reside in Europe such as Germany, France, Belgium, Poland, Spain and Italy.) Information: Hunter Lindemann is the son of Talius and Sarah Lindemann, and has replaced his father as the President of the European Union. He served his time as a politician in Germany, starting in his hometown of Anklam, in the North-East of Germany. He served as Chancellor of Germany when the President was a man by the name of Axel Kaiser. They two of them became good friends, and they worked together to rule Germany well. Hunter then moved on to working within the European Union and became the President in 2534. He carries on his father’s legacy, and is a good President to Europe, working hard to ensure the rights of the people are respected and wheedling out any corruption that attempts to stir. He has a husband called Temaerah Lindemann, and they have no children together. -x-x-x-x-x- Name: Nickalai Volkov Territory: Russian Federation (Russia and other Eastern European Countries) Information: Nickalai is the man who succeeded President Talicia Lindemann after she left office to become married to Temaerius Churchill. He was a long time friend of hers, and the two were very close in their political views. He is a forward thinking man, wanting nothing but the best for his people, and wanting to ensure that they lived in a world where they were free to do as they pleased, without violating the rights of others, and free to speak their mind. He knows Russian history in intimate detail, and has vowed to never repeat the mistakes of his ancestors. To this end, he upholds the new constitution that Talacia instilled, and works to defend them even from their own Federal President if he were to ever ask Nickalai to break them. He is a good hearted man, who is deeply compassionate and tries his best to listen to his people. He is married, to his wife Anastasiya Volkov and has six children. -x-x-x-x-x- Name: Xicilia Churchill Territory: East Asia Federation (China, Tailand, Singapore, Japan, North Korea, South Korea, etc) Information: Xicilia is the sister of Temaerius, however she has lived in China for most of her life and has been President for a long time. She has turned the Asian countries to a capitalist society, abolishing any form of socialism that they had before while keeping the strong traditions alive. She has brought the countries together in a way that they had never been united before, and has knitted a peace between them. She instilled the Universal Rights to Act Life, granting her citizens rights that they previously didn’t have. She put into effect strong economic plans that lifted millions out of poverty, and improved the lives of most of the citizens. Xicilia has cleaned the government of corrupt people, and has improved infrastructure across all the countries that are under her jurisdiction through advice and suggestions to those nations. She is a firm but fair leader, who isn’t afraid to speak her mind. She will listen willingly to those under her protection, and makes herself available to anyone who needs her help. She is very kind, caring and is extremely understanding of others. She is the most popular leader they have had on their long histories and she has been voted in, with a landslide on every election. She has a husband by the name of Latius Churchill, and they have eight children together. -x-x-x-x-x- Name: King Zhalius Zarqali Territory: United Arab Emirates (Asian countries such as Saudi Arabia) Information: King Zhalius came to power in 2315, and is the twin brother of Queen Lustia. Zhalius has lived a long life due to modern medicine prolonging his life. He has lived in the country of Saudi Arabia and married into their Royal Family where he came into position of being the Crown Prince. Ever since he was crowned, he has worked tirelessly to help his country, and the surrounding nations, to enter a new age of enlightenment and to stop the non-stop wars that plague the Middle East. Ever since then, he has been working to rebuild the countries from the ground up. He has turned their passion into something constructive, rather than destructive. Under his rule, new cities have arisen and the economy has bloomed and prospered. The infrastructure has been completely revamped, and technological advancement has dramatically increased and the once violent nations have become more peaceful and less prone to starting violent wars and they have even adopted the Universal Rights to Life Act. King Zhalius is a deceptive man, as he seems rather vain and vapid, however he has a keen intellect and is not someone that should be underestimated. One of his biggest qualities is that he is a deeply passionate man, and seems to have stores of energy that allow him to keep working for hours on end with little to no breaks. He has a wife, Queen Nikholania Zarqali, and they have twelve children together. -x-x-x-x-x- Name: Queen Lustia Zarqali Territory: United Africaean Member States (The states of Africa and South Africa) Information: Queen Lustia, sister of Zhalius, has lived in the continent of Africa for as long as her brother has lived in Saudi Arabia. When she became an adult, she quickly became friends with the ruling elites and began to play games with them, maneuvering herself to the point where she became Queen of the Africaean Member States, tricking the corrupt elites and booting them out of office. She worked hard to ensure that good men replaced them, ones that wanted the genuine best for their people and she helped them achieve that goal. She is a good, kind and fair Queen who is deeply loved by her subjects. She is fiercely protective of them and the new Rights that she has installed like the other nations of the world. She does not tend to bow down to threats, and knows how to play mind games with people. Lustia doesn’t appear to be that intelligent, however like her brother she is very smart and will easily pull the rug out from under the feet of anyone that is foolish enough to underestimate her. With her economic plans, the United Africaean Memberstates has boomed, and most of the population has been lifted out of poverty and allowed to progress as a society. Large cities have sprung up across the continent, with the population finally getting access to clean food and water. The Queen is unmarried, however as her name suggests she is a very lustful person and often takes many to her bed, regardless of gender.- 6 replies

Location: Town of Kalath Before Lorna could respond to the hyperactive little bunny girl, the door opened and a loud voice echoed around the room, causing Glenn to jump and almost drop the glass he was holding. He turned, blinking in surprise at the female figure as she came in, seeming to fill the entire room with her presence. Rayvenne looked up, soup dripping from a piece of breed as she eyed this newcomer, her dark eyes guarded as she watched her. After a moment, she saw nothing threatening about her so resumed eating her soup. She appeared to be someone as loud and as excitable as Luna. If those two started going at it, it was sure to give her a headache. So she just kept quiet and concentrated on her soup in an attempt to be ignored, as she really didn’t want to draw attention to herself. Glenn blinked again as the women questioned what he had, clearly a little taken back by her forward nature. He put the glass he had been cleaning down, just as the girl said that she would have what Luna had. By now, he had gotten his bearings and he said, “Alright. One Potato and Leek soup. That will be three copper.” He then looked over at Lorna, “My dear, would you…?” He trailed off. Lorna didn’t seem to be paying attention as she was smiling at the new customer. She then looked at Luna, “Well, it seems I need to get back to serve up some more of that soup. I’m Lorna. And since you’re a friend of Rayvenne’s, please feel free to drop by whenever you can. It would be lovely to hear from you.” She said, before she disappeared back through the door behind the bar. Rayvenne looked up when the woman suddenly turned her attention on herself and Luna. She swallowed her mouthful of bread before saying, “I’m employed by her.” She pointed towards Luna before picking up her spoon and taking a sip of her soup, hoping that the fact that she was eating would indicate her lack of desire for a conversation. She did discreetly check the woman out, observing her. She certainly wasn’t dressed like one of the villagers, nor like some kind of housewife. It gave credit to her story that she was a traveller. But unless she had companions elsewhere in the town, it seemed that she travelled alone like how Rayvenne usually did, with the exception of Raeghan. -

Location: Town of Kalath Glenn chuckled a little at Luna’s exuberant words, “I’m glad you like the place.” He said with a smile, before turning away as he picked up a glass and cleaned it. However he paused, seeming to tense a little at Rayvenne’s observation as well as Luna’s question. He put the glass back down before he turned back around and looked at Luna with a slightly furrowed look. After a moment he looked at Rayvenne before glancing at the other customer still eating. He then said, “Let’s not be concerned with that.” He coughed a little before saying, “But, it’s been a long time since we’ve seen you, Rayvenne. It would be nice to be able to talk to you a little later, don’t you think?” Despite the casualness of the question, and it seeming to be nothing more than an invitation to catch up, Rayvenne caught the hidden message. He needed to talk to her about something. So she nodded, “Sure. I would love to. I should have some free time later.” She said. “Good. Good!” Glenn smiled, looking quite relieved. A nervous tension seemed to drain from him before he turned and continued cleaning his glass. Rayvenne cocked an eyebrow, wondering just what was wrong. It was something he clearly didn’t want to talk about in front of other customers, which made her wonder if it was something he wanted her help with. Well, since he had always been kind to her, she would help as best as she could. The door behind the bar opened and a portly woman with kind brown eyes and chocolate brown hair tied back in a bun. She was carrying two large plates which had a bowl of soup as well as six thick slices of brown bread. She gave Luna, the first one she saw, a warm smile, “Here you go, sweetheart. Eat up! I hope you enjoy it!” She said as she carefully put the plate down in front of the rabbit girl. Once Luna had responded, she moved over to Rayvenne and put her plate down in front of her, “Well, it’s been a while since we’ve seen you, Rayvenne. I’m glad to see you’re making friends!” She said, referring to Luna. Rayvenne held her breath for a moment before she said, “Luna is my employer. I’m helping her.” “I see. I see.” The woman said, her tone indicating that she didn’t quite believe her. She then turned and moved back over to Luna, “It’s nice to see her finally making some friends. I hope you look after her, alright?” She said with a wide smile, causing Rayvenne to sigh and wish she could facepalm. She settled for rubbing her forehead, before shaking her head and picking up a piece of bread to start eating. -

Daedrin and Izanagi are currently in a side story adventure thread. But since Chiyako said it's alright, I don't mind someone else joining Rayvenne and Luna. Not at all!- 219 replies

Just got around to reading it. She sounds like a really interesting character And quite a sad history there. At the moment, I think there are two groups having adventures at the moment. There is Rayvenne and Luna, played by myself and @Chiyako. And then there is Daedrin and Izanagi, played by myself and @Akira. Although the three of us were planning on having these characters meet up for another potential adventure once their current adventures were done. We haven't decided what we're going to do yet though. I don't have any other characters free at the moment. Some are waiting on other people due to plot reasons. A large plot that will hopefully start moving once @Temaelrin has sorted his characters out.- 219 replies

Location: Town of Kalath “Of course you can.” Glenn said with a smile at Luna. He seemed to be resisting the urge to reach out and tweak her chin in a paternally affectionate manner, “I’ve got some potato and leek soup on to cook. Comes with some slices of fresh bread. Will that be good for you both?” “That will be fine. Thank you, Glenn.” Rayvenne said with a ghost of a smile before she moved off towards the corner of the room where she slipped into a chair. She interlocked her fingers as she leaned her arms on the table in front of her as her dark gaze moved around the room. Glenn had shuffled off, disappearing behind a door to deal with their order. There was a loud snore from the sleeping patron before he jerked awake and lifted his head to stare with blurry eyes around the common room. He seemed to wipe his mouth with his sleeve before grumbling to himself. He got to his feet and stumbled towards the front door. He paused at the entrance, holding onto the door frame for support before he stumbled out onto the street, leaving just Rayvenne, Luna and the man eating his soup. She had expected it to be a little more busy at this time of the day, especially with the market in town. She worried that perhaps the owners weren’t exactly making the money they used to. She watched as Glenn came back, still smiling as he usually did. He saw her looking and said, “Lorna will be out with your food soon!” He then turned and went back to cleaning his tankards with his cloth. Rayvenne sighed and leaned forwards a little before commenting to Luna, “I expected it to a little busier in here. Glenn and Lorna are very gracious hosts, and there is a bustling market. I wonder why it’s so… empty.” She frowned a little, feeling quite concerned. It seemed too unusual. -

Daedrin tilted his head slightly when Izanagi calmly informed him that he wanted to do a test. He curbed his irritation, though. With the thing watching them, Daedrin was feeling the urge to move as quickly as possible in an attempt to get out of their searching gaze. It was irrational, though, because he knew there was nowhere they could hide from it. They either had to wait it out, or Daedrin was going to have to find a way to destroy it. He glanced towards the entrance where Izanagi was before he reached up and allowed his gloved hands to trace a golden necklace that was around his neck. With a sigh he brushed dirt onto the fire causing it to die out, before he spread the remains so that there was little trace of their ever being there. He then stood up, stretching his tense muscles before he paused and looked out of the cave as he heard a powerful blast of wind. He remained where he was, listening carefully before cursing slightly. He wishes that Izanagi was not showing off his abilities. Not now. Not when they had too much of the bad interest. The angels were, to him, small fry compared to the beast that lurked invisible. When they made camp again, and he was alone, then he might try and ask for help. He jerked a little when he heard Izanagi’s voice and he realised that the man had walked past him and was gathering his things. Daedrin coughed a little, low in his throat, “I suppose that’s something good that has come from this… incident.” He said, moving over to Daegrin and stroking his cheek before gripping his reins and leading him out of the cavern. Once they were free, he mounted up on the Aelda and nudged him forwards at a walk. They were in an area where the path was a little treacherous, and he didn’t want Daegrin or Lucky to slip and fall. With any luck, they would reach the mining sight by evening. However it seemed that luck was not on their side. Daedrin pulled Daegrin to a stop when he saw a large boulder that blocked their path. They couldn’t move around it, at least not with the horses. The boulder was so large that it completely blocked the path. Unfortunately, this was the only way to the mine, and there was no alternative route. He looked over at Izanagi and asked, “Is there any way that you can take care of that?”- 152 replies

Donovan looked wildly around himself as the world around him disappeared only to be replaced by something he instantly recognised as Patriots Park. He had been there many times, sometimes on dates with Charlotte or with Lily. However it was quiet. Eerily so. It made him feel quite uncomfortable, as he was used to it bustling with activity and noise of patrons who visited the park. Despite his lonely nature, and the fact that he would love to walk through an empty park, this screamed wrong. On so many levels. He couldn’t shake it off. It made his skin crawl. His arm computer then started beeping at him and he raised his arm to look at it. His eyes then raised at the projection that was now hovering in front of him, stating that the Game Field Stage had been automatically selected for him. There seemed to be an option for him to change it, however he decided to stick with what he had for the meantime. He had little idea what was going on, and he was wondering if he had somehow been kidnapped from his office. He saw that he could use voice commands, to tentatively tried it, “Stick with current Game Field Stage.” He said. It indicated that it registered his command, before the screen told him that he had now been transformed. He blinked before looking down at himself, “What the hell?” He asked out loud. His suit had disappeared, to be replaced with something entirely different. He was wearing some kind of military uniform which was white in colour. He had a black belt wrapped around his waist, as the torso piece stopped just below his arse. The collar and shoulders were black in colour, with a gold trim. He also had some kind of golden broach that was a circle, with two small ‘legs’ that came out from the bottom, arching away from each other. There was also a piece that striked through the middle of the circle horizontally. His cuffs were black in colour as well, with two bands of gold that wrapped around it. He had skin-hugging white trousers that seemed to reach his ankle but he wasn’t entirely sure as he had a pair of black boots that reached up to the middle of his thigh. On the outside of the boots were three golden buttons. Wrapped around his shoulders and falling down his back to mid-shin was a clark that sported a hood. It came together at the front in a bow-like fashion, bound together by another broach. This one was a golden, slightly elongated pentagon with a cross in the centre. There was a gold piece that emerged from the side, with a golden chain that attached itself to a golden circle that was attached to a black shoulder pad that lay across his left shoulder. It was an interesting outfit to be sure, and he wondered what he looked like. Movement out of the corner of his eye made him look back up at the screen which told him that he was about to meet an AI that would help him learn how to use the functions of his arm computer. One of his eyebrows rose, and he found himself curious as to who this was. At yet at the same time, his body tensed in anticipation of the unknown. He then stared ahead as a large green pipe like structure. It looked like something taken from some kind of game but he couldn’t be sure as he wasn’t one to really play many games. It was either that or some poor CGI movie. He took an involuntary step back when a male voice sounded from within the pipe. His gaze sharpened as he watched the pipe carefully. However his gaze blanked out when the figure jumped out to stand before him. It was the strangest thing he had ever seen. It looked like some kind of real life anime character. He couldn’t help but to be rendered speechless by it. He wasn’t sure what to make of it. He glanced around cautiously for a moment before he looked back at the figure, “Who the hell are you? And what the hell is going on?” He asked. He normally wasn’t one to swear so much, but after the strange events of the last couple of days, he felt he deserved a few allowances.

Location: Town of Kalath Rayvenne glanced over her shoulder towards Luna as she fed her horse a carrot, before she shook her head slightly and opened the door to the inn and stepped inside. Like most inns, it had a low hanging ceiling and was dimly lit. There was wooden tables and chairs within the main room, tightly fitted together but not so close to be cramped. The floor was made of stone that was littered lightly with straw. On the far end of the main room was a stone fireplace, that had a fire roaring inside of it which radiated a comforting warmth throughout the entire room. Along the right wall was a bar that had stools sitting close to it. There was only a few people in the room at this time of day. One was eating some kind of soup, while another was lying on the table, snoring. The man behind the bar was a little on the portly side, his hairline receding and his clothes were somewhat clean. But he had kind eyes and a cheery smile as he was cleaning the tankards. He looked up when the two of them walked in and his smile seemed to beam across the room, “Rayvenne! It’s been a long time I’ve seen you! You’re looking well! You haven’t aged a bit!” He said. With a slight grimace, Rayvenne came forwards to stand next to the bar, “I know, Glenn. I’ve been travelling around a lot. I haven’t had the chance to drop by Kalath for a while… How’s Olivia?” “Oh, she’s doing well. Very well. Married now, to the local blacksmith. She couldn’t be happier!” Glenn said, beaming with pride. His eyes then shifted to look at Luna, “And who is this lovely young lady?” He asked. “She’s my employer. I’m helping her with a quest of hers.” Rayvenne said, deciding to allow Luna to speak for herself in her introduction. The man looked at Luna appraisingly before smiling kindly at her, “I’m Glenn, and I’m glad to meet you.” He introduced himself, putting down his tankard and the cloth that he had been using to clean it, “Can I get you two anything?” He then asked. “At the moment, just a room.” Rayvenne said, slipping a hand into her pouch and pulling out some copper coins which she put on the bar counter. Glenn reached forwards and used his fingers to shift them a little as he counted them. He then swiped the coins from the surface and said, “Alright, Rayvenne. Second door on the right when you go upstairs. And you know the way to the stable. It’s still there.” He then grinned at the two of them. -

Location: Town of Kalath “I can’t imagine as to why they let you go.” Rayvenne said in a dry tone at Luna’s comment regarding her incident with some bandits. Either she had talked so much that she had made friends with them. Or she had chatted so much that it was less trouble for them to simply let her go. So it was a guess as to whether it was a good, or bad thing. Rayvenne knew for certain that she wouldn’t want that rambling chatting to be turned on her. She wasn’t sure how long she would be able to take it. She could handle it in small bursts, but someone constantly talking? No, that wasn’t something she would want. She was too used to silence, and being alone other than Raeghan. The two crossed the bridge and walked the short cobblestone bath to the town gate. The guards that stood on either side eyed her suspiciously, but didn’t comment as the two of them passed. As soon as they were through the gate, they found themselves in a small clear area with market stalls erected as merchants enticed customers to their booth to buy their wares. Rayvenne looked around before saying to Luna, “You’re in luck I see. The market is in. So you can sell, and buy stuff. But first, I think we should find an inn to stay for the night. Otherwise there might not be a room to rent later.” She knew the perfect inn as well. It wasn’t that far from the front gate, and it wasn’t that expensive either. But nor was it filthy and run down like a number of other inns. Not only that, but the owner of the establishment was one of the few people that treated her with any sort of kindness. He had been grateful when she had saved his daughter from a werewolf that had been stalking the land around the town. She lead the way through the bustling market, ignoring the irritated glances thrown her way until she reached one of the side streets which she lead Luna down until they arrived at a building with a sign above the door that indicated an inn. The lettering carved above the door read ‘The Royal King’. She dismounted, drawing Maedoc closer and tying him to the pole outside, “Come on. Let’s go and rent a room.” She addressed Luna. -

Donovan arrived at work earlier than he had anticipated. Traffic had been almost non-existent on the road that morning. It was both a blessing and a curse. A blessing, because it meant that he wouldn’t be late to work, and a curse because it was likely that he was earlier than most of his colleagues which meant sitting around waiting for them to show up. Laura was the type to either show up on time, or late. She was never early. When he got out of his car, he closed and locked the door before looking around to see that the car park was relatively empty. The Superintendent was in, as well as a few that worked with him, but otherwise it was empty. Due to his rather recluse nature, Donovan knew of the people that were already here but he wasn’t friends with them. Casual acquaintances at best. Still, he had a book hidden in his desk which he could read while waiting. Unless of course, he found that Game Image the note was talking about. He paused just before the doors of the side entrance, frowning a little. He pulled out his identification card and swiped it through the card reader, causing the door to buzz as it unlocked. He opened it up and stepped inside, his feet carrying him towards his office. He was uncomfortable with someone knowing so much about him. Like where he worked, and his daughters name. They no doubt knew where he lived as well. He hoped that the person would not use that information for ill, but the cynical side of him doubted that. He would need to watch his back. He arrived at his office, where he pulled out his keys and unlocked the door before slipping inside and closing it behind him. He moved over to his desk and slipped into his seat, pressing the power button on the computer as he did so. He looked around his desk, analysing everything carefully. It looked as if everything was in order. Nothing was out of place, as far as he could tell. He opened up the top drawer of his desk, peering into the neatly laid out contents. He then froze when he found himself looking at a small cardboard box that had not been there the day before. It had a label on it, with printed text on it that spelt out his name. Carefully, he picked it up and turned it over. It was sealed carefully, and done with a professional flare. He hesitated a few moments before he pulled out a penknife that he usually kept on his person. He sliced through the tape before opening it up and finding a USB-like device inside which was light blue in colour. Slowly, he snapped the knife close and put it away before putting the cardboard box down on the desk. If this was some hacker, than they had some serious dedication to their prank. If it wasn’t… He shook his head as he couldn’t quite believe what was going on. Out of everyone in this city… why him? What did this person hope that he could do? Carefully, he picked up the USB and turned it over in his hand before he looked at his personal computer that, like the night before, sported the Hero OS. He sighed through his nose, before he decided to bite the bullet. His curiosity was getting the better of him. But he was determined to find out who this mysterious person was. If this was a high ranking person in the government or consortium, then he would need to be careful. But as a Detective, he had access to certain resources that a normal person would not. He would send the box to forensics, and see what they make of it as well as hunt down any leads regarding the Hero OS. Such as if others had it, or he was the only one. As for the USB… he plugged it into his arm computer. It slid satisfyingly into place before he looked at the screen to see what happened. It seemed to be loading something onto the computer, and a glance at the files it was something to do with the Tutorial Game Field. He remembered from the tutorial video, which told him that in order to start the tutorial, he needed to say ‘Tutorial Start’, as it was voice activated. So he waited for the loading to finish before he said, “Tutorial Start.” He continued watching the arm computer to see what would happen. Whether it would die on him due to some virus, or something completely different. However the world around him disappeared…

Daedrin’s eyes glistened with interest when Izanagi describe his relationship with Odium, as he found it quite interesting. Ultimately, he didn’t think that his friend was a bad person. Most people would assume he was due to Odium’s presence. But then most people assume that demonic always equalled evil. However, Daedrin was aware that things were never so black and white. Still, he found it curious that Izanagi thought of the demon as some kind of partner and her certainly treated Odium like a friend, such as his playful banter that held no bite or malice behind it. He assumed that Odium’s voice was only heard by Izanagi unless he took control of his body, and he wondered if Odium had said something to make the man chuckle. He didn’t think of it as strange, though. Afterall, he had his own companion but they were not as vocal as Odium seemed to be. He avoided that line of thought, and instead continued focusing on Izanagi. He gave a slight nod at his friends description of the Wrathful Blazerker. From the sounds of it, Izanagi didn’t seem particularly happy with the thought of this creature taking him over and making him lose complete control. Daedrin knew that he hated losing control over himself like that. The more Izanagi spoke about it, the more Daedrin could see similarities to himself. If he flew into a deep rage, he lost complete control of himself. He becomes a mindless beast that attacks everything and everyone around him, including friends. The only thing people could do is either knock him unconscious or wait until the rage had subsided. In a quiet tone, he said, “I think I understand.” Daedrin continued to stare into the fire as they lapsed into silence until Izanagi responded to his warning about the angels. He looked up towards his friend, watching the light of the fire flicker across the man’s handsome face as he spoke. Daedrin couldn’t help but nod his head in agreement when Izanagi made the comment that while he didn’t remember the fight while he was the Wrathful Blazerker, he was sure that a lot of energy was released which clearly made it easier for the angels to track him down despite being flown here on Eldyr-back rather than travelling along the ground. A fact that concerned Daedrin. He brought his attention back to his companion as he continued talking. Daedrin frowned a little at his words, as his worry that they would either come back or report to others was justified. From his description, these angels sounded remarkably like Celestial’s. Overpowering pride and stubbornness. He sighed a little as he said, “Then we can expect to see more? How… irritating… I hope we can somehow get them off of our trail…” He trailed off with a slightly thoughtful frown. He really hoped they would not come back because he really didn’t want to have to deal with more trouble. He then shifted, feeling himself become more alert than before. There was a creeping sensation that ran up his spine, causing chills to radiate through his body until it reached his back where the hairs stood on end. He could the overwhelming sensation that he was being watched and he had to resist every urge to not shift into his Eldyr form and snarl. He felt as if he was being eyed up by a dangerous predator and he was trapped, with nowhere to run. He straightened his back a little and casually looked around but he couldn’t see anything. And he knew Izanagi couldn’t see it either, but he knew it was there. He doubted his friend could sense it either, but he had a strong suspicion as to what it was. It made him want to get out of there as soon as possible. Trying to keep his composure, despite his sharp and alert eyes, he turned his head to look back at Izanagi, “Ready to travel?” He asked. He didn’t voice what he suspected to be there, sharing the cave with them because he knew the moment they knew it would be the end of both of their lives, and there was nothing either of them could do to stop it.- 152 replies

Location: Craethiel Wilds, Southern part of Idgara Forest near Kalath. “I’m sorry to hear that you were attacked, madam. We try and take care of those low-life scum when and where we can. But they are good at hiding among the forest.” The guard said, giving Luna a little smile as he was clearly charmed by her cheerful demeanor. He glanced at her wagon before he returned his attention back to her, “Alright, madam. I don’t see anything wrong here. There is a health clinic in town if you wish to find anyone that needs your help. I hope you enjoy your stay here in Kalath.” He said, turning his horse around and riding back towards his patrol position. As he passed Rayvenne he looked at her and told her firmly, “No funny business, Hunter. We will not hesitate to run you through.” He glared at her before he and the group ran off. Rayvenne watched them ride off with unreadable dark eyes before she remarked without much irony, “Well that was quite friendly.” She then looked over her shoulder at Luna, “That was good… if a little rambly. But pretty disarming for a egotistical man like him.” She said, nudging Maedoc again to continue walking except this time she rode beside Luna. She had seen how much Luna had disarmed the man with her cheerful and open-seeming greeting. It seemed like her attitude had some advantages after all. She was good with dealing with certain types of people, although Rayvenne knew it wouldn’t work on everyone. It certainly didn’t work on her, but she could see that Luna was basically harmless unless you attacked her. She didn’t seem to have a malicious bone in her body. The cynical part of her suggested that it could just merely be an act to hide her true nature, but Rayvenne doubted it. The sound of hooves thudding against the forest floor gave way to the sharper sound of hooves against stone as they started over the slightly arched bridge. She looked out over the side to see the water tumbling beneath the stone structure. The water itself was quite dark in colour, not allowing her to see that much beneath its surface. But she could see small circles appearing, suggesting that there was a number of fish in the river. Her eyes moved to the bank where she saw a couple of elderly men with fishing poles. They didn’t seem to be paying much attention to the pole, or even the river. They seemed to be talking earnestly with each other, and she decided that perhaps they were old friends. Rayvenne allowed her eyes to slide off of them and towards the village that loomed ahead of them on the other side of the bridge. -

Location: Craethiel Wilds, Southern part of Idgara Forest. As Luna mounted up on her horse again, Raeghan took flight again, his black wings flaring before he disappeared into the forest once again to scout on ahead to keep an eye out for more trouble. Rayvenne watched him until he disappeared from view before she turned to look towards Luna once again. She raised one of her dark eyebrows before she said, “Where what you want. Or not wear what you want. I don’t really care all that much. But I will certainly be wearing something.” She then turned around and moved back over to Maedoc, mounting up on the large stallion. She gripped the reins and nudged the large horse forwards at a trot to quickly eat up the distance between them and the town of Kalath. While she wasn’t particularly bothered about sharing the same bed as Luna, she was quite bothered by the thought of sleeping naked with her. She was not one for social norms, thus didn’t care that Luna even suggesting that she sleep naked with a stranger, was considered rude and inappropriate. But she herself would never let anyone see her naked. Not because she was ashamed of her body. She just didn’t like displaying openly how much of a freak of nature she was. The last time anyone had seen her in any kind of intimate light was… a very long time ago. Quite likely long before Luna was even born. She didn’t look that old. Not that Rayvenne had inquired. Nor did she want to. She roused from her thoughts when another sound intruded on the sound of hooves thudding against the leaf strewn forest floor. She could hear the clinking of armour and the sound of wood impacting. She looked ahead and saw the bridge was now in view, as well as the roofs of the town of Kalath. She slowed Maedoc down to a walk, glancing behind her at Luna, “Guards ahead.” She warned before turning back around. The guards seemed to have taken notice of the group and came forwards, riding various coloured steeds that looked rather puny next to Maedoc. Rayvenna pulled them to a stop, watching the guards approach with a wary glance. Their gaze was just as wary as they came closer. “State your business, Hunter.” One of the guards demanded of her in a cold and unwelcome tone. Rayvenne just continued to stare at them for a few moments before she replied in a voice devoid of emotions, “Just passing through. I am escorting Miss Luna to Kalath where she wishes to conduct her own business. That is all.” The guard gave a skeptical grunt, eyeing Rayvenne with dislike before he looked at Luna with a more friendly glance, “Business?” He asked, as if Rayvenne’s reasons were not enough to convince him. The other guards remained tense, their hands cocked near their weapons as if they expected an attack any moment, with most of them glancing towards Rayvenne as if they expected her to be the source of danger. -

Location: Craethiel Wilds, Southern part of Idgara Forest. When Luna started to scratch the back of his neck, Raeghan leaned into the caress. His blood red eyes half closed and he relaxed his posture as he enjoyed the attention from her. It felt a little strange to be clean the way she had made him, since he had often made do with baths in small amounts of water which had always sufficed but he always had to be careful not to get his feathers completely soaked as that made flying easier. But this was… nice. He couldn’t wait to have a good, hot bath when he was human again. That was second on his list after the getting laid part. He knew for certain that Rayvenne wouldn’t oblige him, but he remained hopeful that Luna would. At Luna’s request, Rayvenne’s eyebrows furrowed a little. She felt a little confused, wondering what was wrong with her wagon. She could only guess that, for once, Luna wished to sleep in a real bed instead of in her wagon. A desire she felt she could understand, as sometimes it was nice to just have a change of scenery. But then, for Rayvenne, it was rare for her to spend more than one night in a single bed because she kept on moving and heading to new places. But, given who she was, she wasn’t going to ask as for all she knew, the reason was quite private and the last thing Rayvenne wanted to do was invade in someone’s privacy. She inclined her head slightly, “It will save money to only get the one room… we can split the cost. I can sleep on the floor if needs be.” She then realised how that sounded, and added, “It’s not the first time I’ve done that. It’s not the most comfortable way to sleep, but far more comfortable than most. I’ve spent most of the recent years sleeping on the ground because I travel a lot.” The corner of her lip twitched a little before she added, “I know this Kingdom like the back of my hand. Including all the back routes.” Raeghan cawed a little, ruffling his feathers before he looked over at Rayvenne before he resumed leaning into Luna’s petting. -

Daedrin took the water skin back, giving a sharp nod of his head, “Good. Glad to hear he’s alright.” He said, standing up again and putting the water skin away. He then returned, sitting back down next to the fire and stirring it by adding another stick to it. He remained quiet for a moment, relishing the warmth that the fire spread throughout the small cave. He looked back at Izanagi and said, “It seems that Odium was a little quicker on the ball in telling me than you were. It was a good thing to. I think he just wanted to make sure you were safe, and to make me the back up plan just in case you did lose control.” He said, before giving his friend a slight grin, “It was quite the fight, though. I haven’t seen anything like it. No matter what that Soulless did to you, you shrugged it off as if she was merely poking you. I have seen a lot of strange and wonderful things in my days but I think that rates in the top five.” He then paused, considering whether or not to tell Izanagi about their little visitors. He couldn’t be sure that they wouldn’t come back to track Izanagi down, and it would be better to know than for him to move around in ignorance and completely vulnerable to a surprise attack. And on another level, Izanagi deserved to know that his little demonstration attracted unwanted attention. He crossed his legs, running his hand along one thigh which settled on his knee before he tilted his head at his friend, “We had some… visitors while you were unconscious. They appeared to be angels of some kind. It seems that your fight attracted their attention, and they followed us all the way back to this cave. They arrived not long after I had gotten you comfortable, and the fire started. They seemed quite intent on killing you. But I told them that I couldn’t let that happen, and that if they tried anything, I would defend you. They decided that, for now at the very least, they would retreat. I’m not sure if they intend on telling anyone else, or if they intend on returning later. Either way, I advise watching your back.” He said, thinking back to the hatred in the angels eyes when they spoke about Izanagi. He privately hoped that they would not make a return, but he was not naive enough to expect that to be the case.- 152 replies

(Sorry Raeghan didn’t answer the question. I couldn’t, due to the awkward timing of the question in relation to my post. I was going to have him answer in this post) Location: Craethiel Wilds, Southern part of Idgara Forest. “It should be. Raeghan didn’t report anymore than that.” Rayvenne said, eyeing the two men that Luna had dealt with. She had quite the strong kick, and she idly wondered how strong her legs really were. She dismounted from Maedoc and moved over to the archer that she had hit with her dagger. She bent, gripping the weapon and yanking it from the man’s throat. It caused a small gush of blood to erupt from the wound, but she paid it no attention. She wiped the blade clean, slipping the blade back into its holster before she cleaned her sword and slid it back home. She then returned to Luna, patting her steed on the side of his neck as she said, “We should have a clear path to Kalath now. We can eat something there. There are plenty of inns to take our pick from.” There was at least a dozen that she could recall. But then, with Kalath being at the very centre of the Kingdom, it was the centre of commerce. The only other commerce town was the Dragons Eye, up in the Therarr Mountains. Her original destination before she ran into Luna. Raeghan fluttered down, landing himself on Luna’s shoulder. He tilted his head at the two bandits that she had taken care of and said, “Good work.” He ruffled his wings a little, looking quite pleased with himself as he surveyed around them. He then turned his attention back to Luna and said, “In relation to your question earlier… I would like to try this potion as soon as possible. I haven’t been human in oh… a hundred years? I would prefer to be fully human. I think it would be nice to be away from my… raven attributes for a while.” Rayvenne came to stand close by as she said, “I would be unwise to try the potion while we’re in town. Since that is where you will no doubt be getting some of your ingredients, we might be forced to spend the night there. It would be wise until we next make camp in the wilds. The normal population and magic aren’t a good mix. If they even suspect that magic is happening in their town, they’ll hunt you down… no matter how unassuming you look. I’ve seen sweet young women burnt at the stake or dunked in the river just because of a suspicion. It’s why I never bring Raeghan into towns or villages. People… aren’t comfortable with me enough as it is.” -

Daedrin remained still and quiet as Izanagi struggled to pull the memories together to remember what had happened. He knew it was not a good idea to try and push the man. It would likely only end up making Izanagi draw in on himself. His feeling turned out to be correct when Izanagi began to lose his emotional control. Even so, he said nothing as he allowed the man to unload the fears and the grief that he was clearly feeling as he revealed that the woman that they had encountered had killed his father. It suddenly made sense why he had lost control the way he had and Daedrin completely sympathised with him. If Daedrin were in his situation, he knew he wouldn’t be able to keep control of himself either. He tilted his head a little at Izanagi, not even flinching when the man punched the ground beside him. He didn’t bother saying empty platitudes. For a start he knew they wouldn’t work, and he respected Izanagi too much to play with him like that. Daedrin also didn’t want to draw attention to the fact that Izanagi was crying, because he knew that Izanagi was someone who likely didn’t like showing his emotions so freely. He reached forwards and gripped Izanagi’s shoulder, squeezing it gently as he said in a soft voice, “You did lose control, yes. But I can certainly see why now, though. I think I would have struggled to control myself if I were in your shoes. While I haven’t seen my father in a long time, if someone had killed them I would stop at nothing to find those responsible.” He pulled away before standing up and going over to the horses. He then returned a moment later, offering Izanagi the water skin, “At least she will no longer be able to rob sons of their father’s. Despite trying to use every powerful move she had, she could not best you. And you killed her. I doubt you’re happy with yourself for losing control, but take comfort in the fact that you avenged your father’s death.” He paused for a moment before saying, “It seems Odium saw this happening, though. He gave me the means to pacify you with what he called a Null Rune which I used to snap you out of the Wrathful Blazerker… state. How is he, by the way?” He then asked, wondering how the demon was fairing after such an experience.- 152 replies
