  2. Location: Blackberry Park Diomedes watched with an impassive stare as he watched Chazin getting kicked away from Rosal. He heard the comment, to which he said, ‘That could have easily been avoided. When you cut off his hand, it created an opening that you could have easily taken advantage of. You not only could have attacked further, but prepared yourself for a counter attack. His hand took ten seconds to reform. That’s plenty of time.’ He then watched the next attack, as Rosal was stabbed repeatedly in a move that even Diomedes’ eyes found hard to follow on their own. He thinned his lips slightly as his eyes narrowed slightly, ‘I am concerned that he seemed to just be letting you land hit after hit. He’s barely made any attempt to fight back against you. That raises a red flag to me. As for your flying… it is obvious you need some training. Even if you can’t be as maneuverable as your dear brother here, you can still prevent yourself from being at his mercy.’ He said, crossing his arms across his chest as he continued watching the two, wondering just where, providing he had one, Rosal’s healing limit was. Was he merely playing with Chazin and using this chance to find out more about the half-breed and his attacks so that he could learn to defend against them?

  4. Location: Blackberry Park ‘It would be wise of you not to. Because if you knew some of the things about my life, I would have to kill you.’ Diomedes replied, although it was clear if the second thing he said was a joke or not. And he certainly wasn’t going to reveal which one it was. He watched as Chazin stripped himself of his trench coat. He didn’t look to be altogether strong, however from the force in which he had tossed his brother about he was a lot stronger than he appeared. He then watched as the two moved their fight up into the air facing each other. His eyes were fixed on Rosal as Chazin taunted him making his face twist in annoyance. It was something that Chazin could use to his advantage if he was clever enough. He then found himself paying close attention as Chazin struck out with his blade, hitting successfully and chopping the demon's hand from his body and causing his blood to spurt out all over the place. Rosal certainly looked surprised. ‘His reflexes seem to be quite slow. You have a clear advantage of speed over him and you’ve also found yourself a sore point. Although with the differences in wing structures, he would have superior maneuverability to you. His wings are designed for agile flight. Yours aren’t so much.’ Diomedes responded. He saw something flicker out of the corner of his eye and he looked down to his side where his shadow was. A single, deep purple eye opened up at him before snapping close, to which Diomedes looked back up towards the fight after scanning around the park. He wanted to see if Rosal would, if he even could, recover from such an injury.
  5. Thaene opened his mouth to answer, but the words only escaped in a soft sigh as he felt Karma’s hand wrapping around his cock and beginning to toy with it. He then chuckled softly, turning his head towards Karma and kissing the tip of his wet nose before he said, “Receiving. I like taking it just as much as you do. And the guy is a good fuck… and he has a really nice cock.” His own cock twitched slightly as he remembered it, “Mostly a normal human but… he’s quite strong. Got nice muscles… black hair and… really… deep… mesmerising blue eyes. The bluest you’ve ever seen. I swear it was his eyes that hypnotised me. He doesn’t take it. From anyone, especially me. And I am absolutely fine with that, with his ten inch cock. He does have some little nubs around the base of his cock, but that just makes it feel even better…” He trailed off slightly, taking in a deep breath as his cock twitched more at the memory of being fucked by his probation officer. After a few moments he then groaned out softly, “And he isn’t spent after one orgasm either.”
  6. Location: Blackberry Park ‘Everyone has sides of them that they do not wish for others to see. It’s called privacy.’ Diomedes responded with unruffled calm to Chazin’s teasing, and not rising to the bait and at the same time completely evading answering him directly. Not only was Diomedes an intensely private person, but Chazin was not someone that he would spill his intimate secrets to. Or even plans. His eyes were on Chazin’s enemy target as he seemed disorientated. The look on his face suggested that he did not expect the attack that Chazin had come out with, nor the amount of damage for Chazin to have done. It was a very good example of an attack that Chazin didn’t put much effort into but it resulted in a large amount of damage being done again Rosal. Diomedes didn’t even bother acknowledging what Rosal had said since really, he was more of an outside observer than a participant. He wasn’t interested in getting involved in a private feud and he most certainly didn’t want humans to be watching or even worse, recording on their damned phones. He always remained out of sight if possible. He tilted his head slightly when Rosal suddenly pulled out a pair of wings which he seemed to be proudly putting on display. ‘It is possible that he’s using his wings as a source of bait. Wings aren’t too useful in close combat. If anything, they can get in the way unless you really know what you’re doing. So either way; close combat is not a good idea.’ Diomedes told him, before looking at Chazin as he summoned his sword. He looked closely at the blade before commenting, ‘That is a beautiful weapon.’ He then turned his eyes back to Rosal to watch what was to happen next. Location: Lydia’s home Time: 21:56 Lydia stared at him with a measure of disbelief, “Another world?” She asked skeptically. She was someone who was a rather average citizen, who tended never to get wrapped up in strange events and strange people. Thus this was the first time she had encountered anyone who said something quite outlandish. She could never imagine a world without her home, and she certainly couldn’t imagine living in a world where only humans were the intelligent life. She would have missed her friends who weren’t all human. “What is this world like? What’s its history?” Lydia then asked, willing to at least hear the answers if Luck was willing to give them. While skeptical, she wasn’t above listening and allowing him to explain himself. She doubted that he could offer hard proof unless he brought something of his world with him that wasn’t seen anywhere in this world. But he didn’t seem to have brought a suitcase with him. Which made her suddenly wonder if this guy had any spare clothes on him. That might pose a problem for him, as he would have nothing clean to change into when he needed to clean his clothes.
  7. “Aw, that’s a shame. That would have been awesome.” Thaene said, nuzzling the top of Karma’s muzzle to show that while disappointed he wasn’t annoyed at the fox boy. Karma was just too adorable to be mad at. Besides it wasn’t actually his fault that his ability didn’t seem to want to be used like that. With his free hand, Thaene played with the leash, twisting it in his hand as he mused, “But that would be interesting… using toys without having to use your hands. We have to explore that… maybe after we’ve done some hangover management. Maybe all you need to do is practice with it?” He suggested. At Karma’s next question, he did sigh slightly, “Unfortunately, yes you will be asked. Just don’t mention that I sold you drugs and don’t admit to taking drugs either. My probation officer is pretty cool about shit. Will ask if you buy or take drugs and if the answer is no then he’s fine with it. That’s all he’s interested in because my charges relate to the selling of drugs… besides… if he does get a bit resistant, and you’re up for it, we could offer him a-” He coughed slightly, “-bribe. He’s… into cute little guys like us.” He then smirked, “Not only that, but he’s married and doesn’t want his wife finding out about it. If a bribe doesn’t work, blackmail might. But, seeing as I’ve bribed him before, I can’t see him turning that down.”
  8. Location: Blackberry Park ‘You’re damned right that was what I was going to tell you. It’s clear that you do not like anyone talking bad about your mother but you shouldn’t let your enemies see that. Because you’re just putting yourself under their control because it allows them to put you into a position where they can play you like a puppet. Honestly, why should their opinion on your mother matter to you so much? You know her better than they do. Your opinion means more than theirs do. Keep that in mind. Also, you need to pay better attention. Not just to your opponent but to your surroundings too. Because if you don’t, your enemy could lay a sneaky trap and you wouldn’t see it coming until it was too late. It’s a very quick way of getting yourself killed.’ Diomedes told Chazin in a very honest and blunt feedback. He wouldn’t care if Chazin became offended by it then that was his problem. He had asked Diomedes for feedback and he was getting it without it being buttered up because in the long-run trying to be delicate would hurt Chazin in the long run as it placed him in the delusion that everything was fine. When Chazin summoned his weapon, Diomedes did comment, ‘That’s a nice weapon.’ He liked how violent it looked although it wasn’t his own weapon of choice. He much prefered swordsmanship. He watched carefully as Chazin attempted his attack however it foiled rather spectacularly. The ground shook slightly when the demon was slammed into the ground, causing onlookers to gasp in shock. Diomedes looked around, not liking how much attention they were attracting. ‘Don’t be alarmed. I’m going to do something.’ He warned Chazin before the world around them seemed to freeze, leaving only the three of them appearing to move at a normal rate. It would effectively hide them from the view of the people within the park because they were moving far too quickly for their eyes and brains to comprehend. He then turned his attention back to the fight to respond to Chazin, ‘As for your idea… that could work. It would depend on how this healing ability of his works. If there is a threshold, and you did enough damage in one go, it would go beyond what he is able to heal. If not, then you might have to wear him down so that he no longer has the energy left to heal at such an accelerated rate. But the risk of that is that if you don’t have enough stamina to outlast him, it could end badly for you. The spike wounds healed within three seconds. Such healing would no doubt take up quite a bit of energy and resources within the body. For normal wounds, to heal from initial creation to the disappearance of scar tissue, takes years. It’s a very long and complicated process that during that time, uses up a lot of resources. But since it’s stretched out for that long, you can easily keep up with the demand with normal energy levels and normal eating habits. To condense that much healing into a period of three seconds has no doubt got to have some kind of impact, even as simple as reducing stamina which while it doesn’t seem like much is still an advantage in your favour.’
  9. Location: Blackberry Park While Chazin’s movements were too fast for normal observers, Diomedes was able to see each move as it was executed. Despite his lack of emotional control, Chazin was very controlled when it came to hand to hand combat. He never missed his mark and the amount of power he placed into each blow was highly precise. He would make a Kaine-Coda impressed with the kinds of moves he was pulling, and they were a born and bred family of forever adaptive super-soldiers. At Chazin’s comment, Diomedes snorted softly. He didn’t exactly care for the property around here, however he would care about the attention it would bring to them. They already had people staring at them, and no doubt someone had possibly called the police to deal with a fight that was breaking out. If that happened then things could only go downhill from there. He looked over at Rosal as he picked himself up from the ground despite the fact he looked beaten and broken to the point of no return. However he wasn’t displaying any kind of pain as if his wounds were nothing but small flesh wounds. He was honestly not shocked when said bones snapped back into place. He looked over at Chazin as Rosal began to bait Chazin, who fell for it hook, line and sinker. Diomedes sighed as he could sense the aura shifting to become darker and more demonic as Chazin allowed his anger to begin to take control and thus letting Rosal have that measure of control over him. Chazin was correct. There were indeed ways that he needed to improve, because such out of control anger would only run counter to what he claimed he wanted to achieve which was to protect his loved ones. The problem with such uncontrolled anger is that he might end up doing exactly what he was trying to prevent; harm to those he cared about. He wanted to tell him this, however Chazin had not responded to his little ‘knock’ as if it had not happened. Clearly he had not noticed, which again was another negative mark against him because he wasn’t paying attention.
  10. Location: Blackberry Park This fight, even though it had barely begun, definitely had Diomedes rather intrigued although his face remained completely impassive, not revealing any hint as to his mood or his thoughts. He didn’t even flinch when the dagger had come within inches of sinking into his chest, but then he knew it would never land the mark because he knew exactly how to get away from, or block such an attack. He tilted his head slightly when Chazin landed in front of him, striking a fighting pose that, while he had seen before, he was not proficient in its use. He then looked down at the boy when he made his sarcastic remark. In a tone that was just as flat and sarcastic, Diomedes replied, “Hadn’t you noticed that I am absolutely filled with a natural charm and allure?” In truth he hated meeting new people and he most certainly hated having to be social. He glanced around, noticing that people were beginning to quietly scope out the fight that was going on in public. He looked back at the two when Rosal began his manic laughter, suggesting that either he was doing it to get a rise out of Chazin, or to make him unsettled or he was genuinely unstable of mind. In which case it would make him quite unpredictable, which can he hard for someone to fight against as it made it impossible to predict their next movements or attacks. He reached out with a tendril of thought towards Chazin, not probing into his mind. It was almost like a ‘knock’ with a link that would only allow for words to exchange between the two. He couldn’t see into Chazin’s mind and nor could the hybrid piggy-back off of the link into Diomedes’ mind. But it would allow Diomedes to make silent comments to Chazin without being overheard. Location: Lydia’s home Time: 21:49 “Ashaea.” Lydia corrected his pronunciation, saying it slowly to accentuate the sounds so it sounded like ‘A-shay-ah’ rather than Ashea which was how he had said it. When he mentioned that the laws don’t ring a bell, Lydia shrugged and said, “Well, no other country has their Laws. I mean, they have a constitution called the Universal Rights to Life Act. Ashaea has the Ashaean Rights Charter which is a little similar but not quite.” Privately, she liked the sound of a Universal Rights since to her that suggested that all sentient beings were protected under it. She then smiled at him when he asked if she would teach him more tomorrow. She glanced at the clock on the wall and saw how late it was. It would be a good idea to leave it until tomorrow since she was likely to start chatting away the night and completely forgetting about petty things such as sleep. But then when she really got into something, it was hard to pull her out. She then turned her head back towards him when he asked if there was anything she wanted to learn about him. She smiled at him slightly, “Plenty. But, as for tomorrow… sure. I have a few lectures to do at work but when I return home I can teach you more things. I take it that you’re a foreigner? Because you seem woefully uneducated on how things are here. Are you a tourist here? Where did you come from?” She then paused, tilting her head slightly before she asked, “And why on Earth did you come to my lecture and decide that it was a good place to have a sudden, unexpected nap?” Her smile suggested that the question was more to make light of what happened, than to mock him although the question held a serious note to it as she genuinely wanted an answer. It wasn’t every day that some stranger, and one that wasn’t a student no less, came to her lecture hall and then promptly pass out when coming up to talk to her.
  11. Location: Haunted Hotel and Blackberry Park The first thing Diomedes noted about Chazin, is that while he kept a very good lid on his fear in the hotel, he couldn’t quite seem to manage his anger. Clearly his parenthood was a source of contention for the man but then if what he had stated about his mother were true, Diomedes couldn’t blame him. He clearly had compassion for his mother however his father seemed to be someone he held in contempt and this figure standing in front of him was almost like a cruel reminder that Chazin did indeed have a father no matter how he felt towards him. It was something Diomedes could actually relate to. But, in showing Rosal that it bothered him, would allow the demon to gain an advantage over Chazin, along with a measure of control as Rosal would be able to manipulate his feelings and reactions. He watched as Rosal seemed to flash behind Chazin in a move that was too quick for the normal observer. However as quick as he was, Chazin proved that he had fantastic reflexes and was able to easily evade the attack. And then to add insult to injury he turned the evasion into an attack in a move that Diomedes found rather admirable. He had clearly learnt how to fight in hand to hand combat and was quite skilled, especially with the finesse at which he performed the maneuver. When Rosal landed down in front of him and turned to demand who he was, Diomedes raised an eyebrow at him, “Since you have no interest in me… then why should I tell you?” He asked back. He had little interest in getting involved in what was clearly a private affair, however he would happily stand around and watch the fight. He had never seen a family reunion become so awkward so quickly. Not even with his own biological family. Location: Lydia’s home Time: 21:44 “I guess so…” Lydia replied with a shrug in answer to his very last question, “You wouldn’t be able to get away with it in Ashaea even if the person you’re beating up proves that they consented. There’s been no real political debate on it, but then again it only affects a very small amount of the population. A few years back someone was arrested in the UFF for domestic abuse, but the person he was beating up consented to it and proved that he consented. He can’t actually get off unless he gets hurt, and his husband was a sadist that wanted to hurt someone. Neither of them were hurting anyone else, so why should the government get involved in their relationship? If both parties truly, and wholy consent, then what’s the problem? It’s the reason why the UFF now have a piece of legislation called the ‘No Harm, No Foul Act’. Since Domestic Abuse is against the law, however if someone puts in for that act the accused can be absolved of all crimes. It’s mainly because the UFF try to be a very libertarian society. But that’s them, not us. But, that being said, Ashaea is one of the most free countries in earth. Hell, even having drugs for personal use is actually legal. They tend to go after the dealers and the suppliers instead of the users, especially if they’re non-violent.” Lydia explained. She took another bite of her meat, adding some of the vegetables to the mix for added taste and texture. Once she had swallowed, she smiled up at him and asked, “Is there anything else you want to know about this place? Just ask and I’ll try and answer them…” She then laughed slightly and cracked what she knew was a lame teacher joke, “Just make sure you have your pad and pen ready to take notes because there might be a test on this.” This was certainly something that Lydia felt comfortable talking about and it helped her relax even more as she happily ate more of the delicious steak. She wondered where he had learnt to cook, because whomever had taught him was clearly a genius. Unless he learnt how to cook like this on his own. In which case she would be really surprised and awed. Because this was the bes thing she had ever eaten.
  12. @Aurafox1 I've done the profile for the person that will come and check in on Sophia at some point; here. She's not a Daedra, but she isn't a normal human either. Far from. But she does jobs for Diomedes, since he pays her to.
  13. From the album: Neptune's Characters

Character Identity Information Name: Rayvenne Date of birth: 6th June 1094AD Gender: Female Religion: None. She is of the opinion that the God’s abandoned her long ago. Species: Human. Origin: She originates from a small village on the other side of the Dynz Desert in the lost Kingdom of Craethiel. Nationality: She has no nationality. Nor does she feel any loyalty to any particular country. Occupation: Monster Hunter and free-lancer. Physical Appearance Height: 5ft 1 Weight: 100lbs Eye Colour: Black Hair Colour: Black Physical Description: Rayvenne is a small human female, with the toned and fit body of a fighter. Despite being so small (Average height when she originally born), her body is in proportion with itself with long, toned legs, curvy thighs, C-cup breasts, flat toned stomach and slender arms. She has long black hair that reaches down to her arse, straight and usually loose or tied in a low ponytail with a length of leather. She has black, glittering eyes which are slightly angled with full, thick eyelashes. The bridge of her nose curves slightly, giving her nose a slight flick. Sitting below her nose is a set of full lips. Her chin is small and she has a slender jawline. Her outfit is purely functional and not designed to be in anyway fashionable. Generally, the clothes that she wears is black in colour due to its stealth capabilities. She wears a skin tight t-shirt however hidden beneath it she has special armoured plates designed to protect her from injury. These plates are designed and produced by Keza Corp and are comparable to human military-level kevlar bullet-proof jackets. However it’s smaller and is much more easily hidden by the cloth of her T-shirt. Over that, she wears a tight black leather full-arm jacket that stops at her belt, showing off her hourglass figure quite easily. It has pockets on the side, as well as on the chest which are sealed with zips. She has a thick belt, with a back ouch attacked which is usually filled with spare ammo and other such objects. On her right hip she has a gun holster that usually has a gun present in it. On her other hip she usually has a sharp dagger that looks quite well worn. On her back, she usually has a silver plated sword. Her legs are covered by tight leather trousers which has more of the special plating hidden underneath to protect her legs from injury. On her feet she has heavy New Rock style boots that have steel caps. There is something that she will very, very rarely talking about, let alone let anyone see. However there is a small device that is embedded into her chest, between her breasts. It is diamond in shape, made from an unknown but smooth black material. In the centre of it, is a small crystal that is white in colour, which occasionally pulses. On each of the straight edges of the strange device, a claw emerges from it, digging into her flesh with a strong grip that will not relent. Personality, Traits and Abilities General Overview: When you first meet Rayvenne, she is extremely withdrawn, and private. She will not easily offer information about herself, especially her past. She does not have many friends, and she will not easily allow someone to call her their friend. She always prefers to work alone, not accepting help or advice from others easily. While she might listen to them, she might not take their advice on board. She keeps information about herself zealously guarded, and thus it is a sign of great trust if she shares personal information about herself. Likewise, she will never ask someone anything personal, unless they trust her just as much as she would be trusting them. She will also very rarely attend public events, even if she is specifically invited. She loathes being around so many people and she hates having to be polite about it, too. She would much rather go off and do her own thing. Due to the fact that she has problems with trusting others, she is very evasive. She doesn’t tend to let her opinions known, even when asked, she doesn’t tend to show her true emotions, she avoids questions especially if they are personal in nature, and she doesn’t tend to hold a conversation with people. She is quite anti-social, in that she completely rejects existing authority figures. She feels that society is not worth her efforts to become a part of it, and only concerns herself with her own self and those close to her. She is also rather disdainful of tradition and societal rules. When someone is able to get past her rather tough exterior personality, she is very honest with others. She will never tell a lie, as she knows that lies will always be found out eventually. She finds lying to be a pointless waste of time. She might hide the entire truth, but she would never lie. In tie with that, she is very honourable. She has a strong sense of personal honour. While she does not play by the rules of society, she plays by her own rules. She would never exploit someone, harm someone or take something that isn’t hers. She will always defend the weak and she will always own up to her mistakes. She also has a strong sense of Justice, and won’t stand by and watch as someone is being violated in some manner (Like mugged, raped, robbed, etc.). She is a patient person, never rushing to complete a task and taking her own time with it. She will wait for hours on end, without talking or moving, until the correct time occurs. This ties in very well with her occupation, which can involve a lot of waiting around. This is partly due to how disciplined she is. She keeps her emotions firmly in check, to the point where no one can easily tell what she is feeling at any given point. When she sets herself a task, she does not waver easily from it. She also always strives to improve her skills, to make herself better and stronger. She does not easily cave into others, as she is remarkably strong-willed. Despite her anti-social behaviour, and unwillingness to be very open, she is rather perceptive when it comes to others and she can often make connections that others miss. Although she usually keeps such observations to herself, unless it’s needed. She can quickly assess a problem and come up with a solution for it on the fly. With those that don’t know her very well, she can be seen as very callous. She will say things in a very honest, blunt manner without thinking about the feelings that she would be hurting thus when dealing with people she is very tactless. She does not show her emotions to others easily, and she does not trust easily so she would never communicate her emotions. As such, she will never cry at a funeral, or express remorse for killing someone especially through defense. She relies solely on herself, and does not ask of anything from others or accept help. She often tries to keep people at arms reach, to prevent getting close to them but sometimes persistence does pay off with her. She is very reluctant to impart information, especially about herself. She is also reluctant about imparting her feelings and thoughts. She is deeply cynical, and does not easily trust the words, or even actions, of others. As such, she will always provide evidence to a claim that she makes. She is never surprised when she sees people committing atrocities. She always expects others to break their promises or backstab her in some way. She also expects people to try and take advantage of her in some way thus she is very suspicious of people. Sometimes she will think that someone being nice to her, has a hidden agenda. She will not commit to anything unless she knows all of the details. She will usually be very pessimistic, and usually focusing on the negative in things, and expecting the worst possible outcome. While people would find this irritating, such thinking has saved her life before as she always plans for the worst outcome. She is very alert, always looking for changes and danger, so that she can come up of means to deal with the situation. Rayvenne is very adventurous. She does not stay in one location for long, unless she has a long term mission to complete. She often travels from one end of the world to the other. She takes a lot of risks, especially where her occupation is concerned. If she remains in one place for too long, she becomes bored and gets the itch to move on. Thus it’s possible for people to not see her for years. She is quite confident, and always treats everyone around her equally. She doesn’t pay much attention to the opinions of others in regards to her, whether that be positive or negative. She meets challenges head on, and doesn’t back down easily. This ties in with her being courageous, and thus not backing down from danger or situations where her very life is at risk. When doing a task, she can become very focused and will not stray very easily. It’s almost impossible to divert her from what has her attention. She will strive to figure things out and to learn more. With her emotional control, she usually has a very clear, level head in various situations including new ones. Rayvenne is quite resourceful, and is able to adapt to new situations and making do with what she has been given. She’s not very wasteful; if she can make use of it, she will keep it. Strengths, Skills and Abilities: Due to the artefact that has fused with her, Rayvenne has been granted numerous abilities and enhancements. These ensure that she is able to keep her ground with the numerous monsters that she encounters. Enhanced Eyesight: Her eyesight is far more powerful than that of an average human. This allows her to be able to see further, and to see details that other humans would miss such as imperfections in a surface. She also has good night vision, which allows for her to be able to navigate around in the dark with ease. Enhanced Smell: Again, her sense of smell is enhanced far greater than that of a human, almost wolf-like. This allows her to track targets through scent alone, even several days after they have passed through. This means that she can smell things that might not even be there, such as blood and other such fluids. She can also smell when someone is sick, injured, pregnant, or even fertile. Enhanced Hearing: She has a much more advanced hearing than a human’s. She can hear tones that are both higher and lower than the human hearing range. She can also hear things from a distance away from her as well as things that are so quiet they go unnoticed by humans. This allows for her to be able to track targets easily, and keep an eye on her own sound-print and prevent herself from being loud enough to alert her enemies to her presence. Enhanced Touch: Rayvenne has a lot more sensitive sense of touch than a human. She can feel the imperfections in an otherwise smooth looking surface, like fractures in metal. She is hypersensitive to both hot and cold, and can accurately tell the temperature of something by touching it. Her enhanced sense of touch also means that she is very sensitive to the touch of others, which is one reason she doesn’t like being touched. She is more sensitive to both pain, and pleasure. Enhanced Taste: She has a sense of taste that is superior to that of a human. Even bland foods can be tasteful to her, allowing her to be able to eat food that nutritionally good, but too bland for other humans to enjoy eating. She can also taste things that others cannot, such as foreign substances and even poisons. Enhanced Stamina: Her stamina is much more than that of an average human, allowing her to be able to continue moving and being active for much longer before she is in need of a rest. She can run all day long with only breaks to eat. She can even remain awake for a few days before she is in dire need of sleep. Enhanced Speed: Rayvenne has speed that far outstrips a human’s, on par with some supernatural creatures such as werewolves and vampires. This allows her to surprise her opponents and to strike before they have a chance to counter-attack. Along with her extreme stamina, she can easily out-run many opponents. Enhanced Reflexes: While it can take humans a few seconds to react to a situation, Rayvenne will react in a fraction of the time, allowing her to respond to danger much faster and to get into the fighting frame of mind to defend herself. This has saved her life many times, and has also allowed her to escape without severe injury. Enhanced Endurance: Despite her sensitivity to things such as heat, cold and pain, she has a remarkable endurance when it comes to them. Often time, an injury that would cripple a human, would be almost nothing to her. She can remain in environments that humans would find uncomfortable, such as a desert or arctic region, without severe effects although there is still a limit to her endurance. Increased Strength: She is stronger than the average human male, allowing her to move objects that humans could not. This also allows her to be able to block attacks that would otherwise cause her to stumble. It also helps in the resistance to injury, as she can tense the muscle to prevent the injury from being worse than it could be. She can also jump higher and further than an average human, allowing her to take routes where humans would be unable to follow her. Accelerated Healing: Rayvenne is able to recover from injuries much faster than a human would, and is able to recover from wounds that would otherwise kill a human. For example, small cuts will be gone overnight, whereas a broken bone will take a week to repair itself, instead of several weeks. Not only does she have a high endurance for pain, but the artefact forces her body to release pain-killing hormones when she is injured, accounting for some of her endurance towards it. She is also resistant to disease, toxins, and poisons. She isn’t immune to everything, but she can resist most things, including STDs. Her immune system is artificially boosted through the artefact, which creates its own cells that fight against such things. They attack all foreign bodies within her body. They are also used in the healing process, helping to speed up the separation of natural cells, and helping to stitch a wound close. If she is very close to death, the artefact begins to expand and encompass her entire body to put her into a protective cocoon while it heals her body. Once she has been healed, the artefact returns to normal. Extended Life Span: Thus far, Rayvenne has almost reached the age of a thousand and she has yet to physically age. This is due to the fact that the artefact has greatly extended her Life Span, and preventing her body was shutting down through overuse. She is unsure as to how much her life has been expanded by but it appears as if it is quite expanded. Combat: Rayvenne has had many years of combat experience. She is most skilled with swords, and it is her preferred way of fighting, although she is quite skilled with a gun. Due to her increase speed and strength, she can hit a lot faster than a human, and can move her weapons a lot faster, making her more than a match for some of the most seasoned human swordsmen. Her vision also makes the use of guns far easier for her, and makes her accuracy far beyond what a human is able to accomplish. For a battle that she knows is coming, she always plans ahead, and always plans for the worst. If a battle comes on suddenly, she is able to think quickly on her feet to come up with a plan to overcome her opponents. Her enhancements make her a tough opponent to fight against as her stamina and endurance will allow her to outlast many opponents. She usually has one silver sword strapped to her back, a gun on her right hip, and a dagger on her left hip. Magic: Due to the time that she spent with a witch, she has learnt a few rudimentary spells. None of them are particularly powerful, however they do give her an edge in a fight. She knows a simple fire spell, that allows her to summon forth small fires, as well as a force spell that allows her to push things away from her. Alchemy: She has some skill with alchemy, and is able to produce various potions for healing, increased stamina, increased strength, increased speed and an energy boosting potion that can revive someone from even the worst battle weariness. These potions are not fit for human consumption. Survival Skills: Rayvenne knows how to take care of herself out in the Wilderness. She knows how to quickly make a camp, find water and produce food for herself. Rayvenne know many medical herbs, and has a decent knowledge of edible plants. She can defend herself against most dangers, so she has no real problems when travelling about. Weaknesses: Despite the advantages that the artefact grants Rayvenne, there are downsides to the artefact and the changes it has made to her. Enhanced Eyesight: Despite how enhanced her eyesight is, there is still a limit to its range. She also cannot see through objects, so targets can hide themselves behind cover to escape her gaze. With how sensitive her eyesight is, a sudden bright source of light would rend her temporarily blind, which can cause temporary disorientation. Several seconds in which someone can take advantage and strike. Enhanced Smell: Due to how sensitive her sense of smell is, she can not only smell things she wants, but also things she really doesn’t want to such as the stench of death, disease and filth. Sometimes she finds these smells overwhelming and can sometimes cause her to become sick. Enhanced Hearing: Loud noises can impair her hearing and make her temporarily deaf. Due to the fact that she has a hearing range beyond that of a human, she can hear sounds that they cannot and come of them, especially the high pitched ones, cause her a distressing headache. Enhanced Touch: If someone is able to breach her pain barrier, she is very susceptible to pain as well as pleasure. Both of which can be used against her, especially pleasure as she does not have the same tolerance towards it as she does pain. Enhanced Taste: Rayvenne doesn’t like unpleasant tastes, and will often vomit if she encounters it. An unpleasant enough, or strong enough, taste can cover up the taste of anything like poisons, meaning that she would not taste the poison and thus be vulnerable to its effects. Enhanced Stamina: If she runs all day, she will need a good night’s sleep to recover from such a run. If she continues doing this for a prolonged period of time, it will take her a little longer to recover each time until it comes to the point where she would need several days to recover. If she remains awake for several days, then it’s not unheard of for her to sleep for an entire day. Enhanced Speed: Her speed can be slowed down in numerous ways, such as fighting on uneven, or marshy ground. Wounds in the correct places would also slow her down and leave her vulnerable to attack. Tiredness can also be another factor in slowing her down. Enhanced Reflexes: Like with the speed, there are numerous ways to slow down her reflexes. Wounds and tiredness are the easiest ways to slow her down and leave her vulnerable to attack. Enhanced Endurance: Her endurance does have its limits, and she can still suffer from the effects of being exposed to the environment, if it is harsh enough or she is exposed for too long. This can leave her in a weakened state. Increased Strength: Tiredness can have an effect on her strength, as she does not have the energy to be able to keep up with her strength. This also affects her speed and jumping distance. Accelerated Healing: As her healing needs for her to be at peak health, if she is weakened, in ill-health or malnourished, then her healing will slow down. A serious wound can take a while to heal, leaving her in a vulnerable state. Even though she is resistant to disease, she can still become ill to something serious that could still kill her. Also, even though she is resistant to poisons and toxins, she can still be affected if a large enough dose is administered. Extended Life Span: Even though she has lived for almost a thousand years, or so, she is convinced that if she lives for too long, she will go insane. Combat: She can fall prey to someone with superior fighting skills, who uses magic or abilities that far outstrip her own. She will not give in easily, though, and will continue to fight even if heavily injured. She is also vulnerable to long range attacks such as guns, which not even her speed and reflexes would allow her to dodge. Magic: Her simple spells take up energy which can be draining after a while. If she does not have the energy, she cannot use her magic. Alchemy: If she lacks the ingredients needed, she cannot make anything. Her potions only have a limited use rate, and she can only carry a few on her at all time. Ambitions (Hopes/Dreams): Currently she doesn’t have any real dreams to aim towards. She is content moving about to move about Craethiel and earn her money through the slaying of monsters. Hobbies and Interests: Rayvenne spends most of her time travelling about the world. She doesn’t remain still long enough to really pick up a hobby. Her only interest in life is her work, and travelling to see new sights and to see new places due to her adventurous nature. She will happily talk about the finer points of swordsmanship, and she does like to read on new subjects. She always enjoys having something new in which to read. Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual. Personal Sexual Information Turn ons: Making love with someone she has a deep emotional bond with. Giving her lover pleasure and making them feel good. Having rough sex which is intended to relieve urges from both partners. Being close to her love; being touched often. No strings attached sex where neither she, nor her partner expect anything to result form their union. Turn offs: Scat, Necrophilia, water sports, Gore and Vore. Being degraded and humiliated. Her partners being violent. Penis Length: N/A Breast Size: C-cup Sensitivity: Due to the artefact that has fused itself with her, she is very sensitive to the touch, and very sensitive to pleasure. Additional Sexual Information: It is very hard to get the trust from Rayvenne in order to be in a relationship with her, she will have NSA sex with people. Also, due to the artefact, she cannot have children as it has made her sterile. STD History: Clean. Extra Information Father: Unknown Mother: Unknown Siblings: Unknown Grandparents: Unknown House: She does not own a home. She travels far too frequently to settle down anywhere or to make the effort of having a home. She only stays in a place long enough to do contracts before she is moving on again. Car: None. She tends to rent them due to the fact that she moves about the world so much. Pet: A Familiar Raven, called Raeghan. He used to be a familiar to a witch Rayvenne once knew. When the witch died, Raeghan decided to remain with Rayvenne. He is slightly larger than a normal raven, and his eyes are a blood red in colour. He is as intelligent as a human, and is even able to speak. He’s a good philosopher and he likes to read literature. He likes to debates a vast array of subjects, including morals and ethics. He often likes to take a devil’s advocate position in debates to make a conversation interesting. Additional information: None, for the moment. History Awards/Commendations: None. Criminal Record: Clean. Medical Record: She has lost her first child in a miscarriage. Bio: Rayvenne was born into a small, poor village, called Vennerr. It is located beyond the Dynz Desert, and consists of primitive wooden houses surrounded by fields of crops. Rayvenne didn’t know who her father was. At the beginning there was only her mother and even then she doesn’t remember much of her, other then the sound of her voice singing a soft lullaby. However, her mother died while she was very young, leaving her as an orphan. The village made sure that she was fed, clothed, and allowed her to use their barn as somewhere to sleep. In return, they also expected her to watch their cows, to prevent them from straying. It was not a hard job, and it allowed Rayvenne plenty of time to pretend that she was some great warrior in a distant land. When she was seven, one of the villagers decided to take her into their home. He allowed her to sleep in her own room, made sure that she was fed and clean. He expected her to help him with his little scientific experiments. But otherwise, he left her alone. He rarely talked to her, if at all and he never showed her any form of affection. Sometimes he would use her to test his experiments, which sometimes resulted in her being hurt or sick. But she was stubborn, and continued to live there as it was certainly more interesting than watching cows. As she grew older, and began to mature, she began to notice the men in the village. In particular, she saw a handsome young man called Beag. She wanted to attract him, so that she could marry him and bare him a lot of children. However her position of being a poor orphan did not grant her a very high position on the social hierarchy and thus he never saw her as a potential wife. She tried as best as she could to attract his attention, even going so far as to allow him to use her for sex. But he was still not interested. She had no inheritance, and thus was nothing more than someone for him to get his urges out. It was not long until she discovered that she was pregnant with his child. Thinking that it would get Beag’s attention, she informed him that she was carrying his child. She expected him to promise her hand in marriage, however that was not what happened. He called her a number of names that boiled down to her being a slut and whore. He did not believe that he was the father of her child and tossed her out onto the street where everyone could hear them. Humiliated and shamed, she retreated back to the old man that had taken her in and cried for days. There was no way she could get rid of the child, as they lacked safe techniques to abort a pregnancy. She and her child were doomed to the lives of paupers. There was a lot of talk around the village about her, mainly rumours and some indignation that she had tried to trick Beag into marriage. People would glare at her in passing, and some would outwardly spit at her. Thus she spent most of her time inside, where her caretaker was playing with a strange triangular artefact that he had bought off of a travelling trader. One day, he approached her and asked her to help him with an experiment. Knowing that she couldn’t really refuse as she needed his kindness, she agreed. He got her to lie down on a table and open up the front of her dress. He then put the artefact down onto her skin, causing it to latch into her skin. Immediately she was assaulted by intense pain all over her body which caused her to scream out. Her caretaker tied her down to the table, gagging her to quieten her screams as this pain continued on for six days, and six nights and she was aware of each passing moment. When the pain finally died away, she collapsed and slipped into unconsciousness. When she woke up, she found herself in her own bed. She noticed immediately, that things were different. Her senses had been enhanced, and the world looked slightly different around her. Getting up, she sought her caretaker who seemed delighted that she had woken up. He did a number of tests, muttering to himself as he did so. But then he retreated to his lab again and poured over his work, leaving her to her own devices. Rayvenne discovered numerous things about that strange artefact. For one thing, she could heal faster, and she was a lot stronger than she used to be. Thinking that these new abilities would allow her to help her villagers and hopefully Beag’s attention, she began to help around the village. However the villagers grew scared of her strength and prowess. So scared that one day, they decided to gather and ambush her, with Beag leading the charge. They caught her by surprise, violently beating her up and screaming at her that she was sent by the devil and that she was demonic scum. She broke free of them, fleeing the village with them in pursuit although they fell back after a time. But the damage had already been done. She had been chased out of her childhood home and, despite the faster healing she now had, she had also lost the baby. She grieved for days, trying to remove the artefact, however nothing she did was working. It could not be removed. This caused her even more anger and grief. She was forced to continue living with it on and any attempts to end her life were stalled as well. Sometimes she would encounter other villages, and hoped that they would take her in and allow her to live there, but every time her abilities showed themselves they would chase her out with curses and screams. Her mind reeling with grief and pain, she began to travel blindly, stumbling into the Dynz Desert. She hoped that the extreme environment that few could cross, would allow her to meet some kind of end. But that didn’t happen. The artefact forced her to continue living as she moved across the blistering expanse of the desert. Time meant little to her. The days came and passed, and she only slept every so often. She passed the barrier into the Kingdom of Craethiel without knowing it. Finally, near the edge of the desert she collapsed, thinking that she was close to death. However, it was not to be. The artefact enclosed her within a protective cocoon and began to heal her body. When she emerged, she was unsure how much time had passed but one thing she was immediately aware of was that she was no longer in the desert. She was in some kind of home that was filled with many plants, and pots of strange bubbling liquids. Feeling confused, she tried to figure out where she was but she did not recognise anything around her. There was no visible way that she could leave this room, either. She was trapped here. So she explored every inch of the room that she was in, but could find nothing to aid her escape. Just as she was considering punching a hole through the wall, a wall of ivy suddenly shifted and a small figure came into the room. Rayvenne demanded to know who she was, and where she was, when the woman grinned toothily at her, “My name is Maede. I’m a witch.” Was all the introduction she was given. The witch proceeded to feed her, and began talking up a storm about how she had found a strange cocoon in the desert and had brought it back. She mentioned that she had heard about the artefact before, but she didn’t know its name. The most she knew about it, was that it was some kind of way for a distant King to have a strong army but for one reason or another he was unable to use it in large scale. But one thing she told Rayvenne, was that it could not be removed from its host, meaning that Rayvenne was resigned to keeping it. She would have to adjust to a new kind of life. Maede offered to give her some teaching in the arts of magic and alchemy which Rayvenne decided to take up. Maede also gave her new clothes to replace the tattered rags of her previous dress. Rayvenne stayed for some time, getting to know Maede and her familiar, Raeghan. During that time, she had also found swords that Maede had hidden away as she no longer needed them. The witch told Rayvenne that she could keep them if she wished as she had no need for them. And thus Rayvenne began to train in the use of these swords, with Raeghan telling her how to use them as he seemed to know how to. He claimed to have watched numerous Master Swordsmen, and thus was able to pass down the methods onto Rayvenne. She wasn’t going to complain; he was good teacher that gave praise and criticism where it’s needed. It was also during this time that Rayvenne learnt how to read, as no one in her village could do so. She loved reading, and read her way through Maede’s entire library with had subjects ranging from the seasons to the monsters that inhabit the world. She was fascinated, and she began to realise what she wanted to do. She wanted to travel the land and earn her money by slaying monsters. Time passed quickly for Rayvenne, and she remained with Maede until she was roughly sixty-six years old. Then disaster struck as the witches home was attacked by some group of bandits. They destroyed the small home, and succeeded in killing Maede. Rayvenne tried to defend the only friend she had ever had in her life, but the wounds Maede had suffered were too much to heal. Enraged, she slew the attackers and dumped their bodies in a hole in the ground. She returned back to the home and buried Maede and left a grave in respect for her former friend and teacher. She then gathered up as many supplies as she could and took one of the horses that the bandits had left behind. Raeghan, now without his mistress, decided to tag along. Rayvenne headed deeper into Craethiel, taking odd jobs in various villages and towns, ridding them of various monsters. She began to garner a reputation as a strong warrior, and was often met with a mixture of fear and awe from people. Not many people wanted to make friends with her, and she hated the way they either cowered away from her, or fawned at her feet. She continued to move about the Kingdom, slaying beasts and monsters from all over, including taking some contracts for the human King himself to deal with monsters that troubled his people. When she was eighty, she encountered a Duke within the Castle at Selil. He spoke in a charming manner, and didn’t seem to treat her with the same distance as others. She found herself quickly becoming friends with him, and would do some extra jobs for him. This went on for a few years, until she began to notice some rather disturbing things. Sometimes the ‘bandits’ that she was asked to get rid of, were small communities that lived in tents. There were children there, as well as some farm animals. They never looked like raiders. At first, she tried to deny it, but as she began looking deeper into the situation, she found that he was using her to get rid of human settlers so that he could utilise the land for his own selfish gains. She felt very cruelly tricked, and confronted the man in front of the King, resulting in the Duke getting arrested. Afterwards, she had some assassins that were sent after her, but she managed to keep them off of her tail until they eventually stopped. She vowed to never let someone take advantage of her like that again, and was always wary and suspicious of those that seemed to be friendly towards her. Her reputation in the Craethiel continued to develop, marking her as a cold, aloof, but strong person that should not be crossed. While the events that happened in Craethiel can’t be spoken about at length (On account of not yet been roleplayed) Rayvenne was involved in world-changing events that occurred as she met up with the survivors of Vorserend and participated in the Battle of Devlyn’s Keep. But afterwards, she continued her work much in the same way, but kept in contact with Talivana and her family. She then began to travel the world, going from one corner to the next to be hired for her services to eradicate problem monsters and pests. As the world grew more modern, the need for her services have become less so she has done other odd-jobs and hired herself out as a mercenary. She has watched the world grow from medieval times into the technology era. In the year of twenty-ten before the defences of the Promiscuous Palace were properly in place, she stumbled upon Diomedes tracking rumours of strange monsters hidden within the Palace. Since then she has become his friend, and he has hired her numerous times to do jobs for him and to act as his representative within the UFF and Ashaea, as Talivana granted her not only visitor visas to the UFF as she refused citizenship, but also permission to go to the Palace to visit Diomedes.

  15. Thaene chuckled at Karma’s question. He clearly had never been incarcerated before, “No. Taking drugs isn’t against my probation. Selling drugs is. Drugs for personal use is actually legal… although like with alcohol it will make charges such as DUIs even worse, depending on the drug you took.” He informed Karma, as he was well aware of the laws that he broke. His probation officer had drilled them into his head to make sure that he was well aware of the consequences for breaking the conditions of his probation. He would have to serve the remaining four years of his jail sentence. His lips curved in a smile when Karma kissed him softly, liking the feeling of the soft lips. His eyebrows then rose at what Karma said next before he said, “That did confuse me, yes. Damn that’s pretty fucking cool. Could you, I dunno, wank people off with your telekinesis? Or even fuck them? Man, I would love to have an ability like that.” He then realised something before scoffing in laughter, “It would certainly make wanking an interesting experience. Not only wank my cock off, but fuck myself in the process… damn, that would be awesome.” Thaene said, quite taken by the idea, especially as he liked taking it as much as he liked giving it. Unfortunately he had never showed any signs of any kind of special abilities. About the most interesting talent he had was the fact that he was so nimble and he was stronger than he looked. But then he figured that because his mother was such a slut, there was no telling who she had conceived him with. Some kind of mongrel who had goodness knows what in his genetic make-up. But, it allowed Thaene to be quite good at things such as free-running which had, on more than one occasion, gotten him away from trouble. And not just legal trouble. But he had no idea who his father was, since his mother had never told him. Thaene doubted even his father knew about him. Providing that he was still alive, that was.
  16. Location: Haunted Hotel and Blackberry Park At Chazin’s admission, Diomedes let out a soft grunt, “You didn’t show it.” He said approvingly because Chazin had not seemed scared when he had stumbled down the stairs into the basement of the hotel. He waited several moments before following Chazin up the stairs and into the hotel lobby, not wanting to walk too close to him. He paused when they went to pass the receptionist, looking down at the old woman. He then picked up a small pad of post-it notes that were sitting on her desk before he wrote a small message before putting the pad down near her hand. It wasn’t much, just some advice that could let her see a little more life than he knew that she was looking at. He then turned and followed the stranger who trailed the energy like a bloodhound. He just followed along, without making any comments as he observed Chazin at work. When they arrived at the park, Diomedes glanced around as he immediately identified it as Blackberry Park where he had tracked Kelania from. He turned turned his gaze towards a tall, handsome man with pitch black hair and vivid, blood red eyes. He stood slightly behind Chazin, to his right as he kept his lips completely shut. He looked from one to the other, noting that there seemed to be a resemblance between them. He snorted softly to himself in laughter, as he had a gut feeling that this was about to get interesting. And his gut feelings were never wrong. The humans around them seemed completely unaware to the tense air that surrounded the two figures as they seemed to be strutting to show off their intimidating aura as they seemed to match up to one another. His gut feeling proved correct when the new figure called Chazin not only by name, but identifying him as a brother. He crossed his arms across his chest, commenting quietly, “Well. This is bound to get interesting.” He looked back at the unfamiliar figure, observing him quietly. He could see his aura, which wasn’t quite the same as Chazin’s in terms of signature, since Chazin’s was tainted by his Angelic side. But there was an unmistakable similarity between the two. He could only guess that the two shared the same father, but had different mothers. Location: Lydia’s home Time: 21:41 Lydia was relieved when he didn’t immediately get to being sympathetic and pretending that he cared like a lot of people did when they learnt about her situation. They just couldn’t seem to understand that she was actually perfectly happy with life and loneliness just wasn’t a problem. In her mind, she couldn’t truly be happy in a relationship if she was reliant on it. She wanted to be able to be happy by herself, otherwise she would end up being stuck in failed relationship, after relationship. She just hadn’t met the one that made her heart skip, who she felt would fit in well with her life. She smiled back at him, also pleased that he understood about her passion and really saw that she was. Most people rolled their eyes when she told them that she was a history buff. At his question, Lydia blinked and stared at him. She had the fork halfway to her mouth with a piece of meat attached but his question caught her off guard. She lowered the fork back to the plate and sat back in her chair with a thoughtful frown, “I’m… not sure. That sounds like a moral question… I… don’t tend to deal with the moralities in my line of work. I’m just interested in the facts but… er… perhaps? I mean, if it makes them happy then surely it’s fine.” She paused for a moment before nodding slightly, “Yes. If they consent to it, then it’s fine. It’s like how in the UFF you can actually get away with domestic abuse… as long as the quote-unquote victim consents to being abused. It’s something to do with their sadomasochist laws because they have some crazy masochists that love being literally beaten. Because surely if imprisoning them makes them happy… then they’ll be happy, imprisoned or not.” She reasoned, before lifting the fork and popping the meat into her mouth, chewing slowly so that she could relish the amazing taste of the meat.
  17. Non-Playable Characters This thread has several purposes. The first of which, is to inform you of how Blackberry Falls deals with NPCs, and even Featured NPCs. While NPCs are often random figures such as a woman at a reception desk of some office building, a Featured NPC is an individual that is owned by a Roleplayer but isn't a fully formed character. This individual serves the purpose of driving a roleplay forward and for helping in the development of our characters, thus they are roleplayed only in specific circumstances. These featured NPCs, depending on how the owner wishes for it to be, can either be generally roleplayed by all players or restricted to the owner. The first place that NPCs can be found are Lore threads, such as the Blackberry Falls one which has images of the Ashaean President, as well as the Mayor of Blackberry Falls. These are featured NPCs of the roleplay and are restricted to being controlled by the Game Master; Me. But these are figures that can be referenced by other characters, as well as spoken about. Another place to find featured NPCs would also be Locations, where these NPCs would be tied to the location, such as CEOs, or even the Dean in the case of schools, or simple clerks in a shop. Featured NPCs can also be tied to a character within their ID. However this thread is for NPCs that don't fall into any of these categories. At the moment, it's the only solution to keep them in one place since I currently cannot create a single album which allows everyone to post pictures in it. So post the images in the Extra Information Images, and post them up in this thread along with this simple template: Name: Date of Birth: Age: Species: Height: Weight: Nationality: Occupation: Information: Of course, you are free to add or change any of the fields if they are more suitable to your NPC. Double posting is allowed within this thread, as with all Extra Information threads.
  18. Location: Haunted Hotel Diomedes let out a breath through his nose, as he felt that flare on his own radar. Certainly something a bit more challenging than what Kelania had been. Was every demonic scum and their damn mother’s coming out this night? Or was this really his unlucky day? He looked over at Chazin as he commented that there was something there. The Daedra then shrugged as he crossed his arms and let his hands fall to his side, “I suppose I can at least see you in action…” Diomedes commented, although he didn’t add that this would also be a good way to confirm what Chazin claimed. That he was a hunter of demons, and protected innocents rather than hurt them. He had to admit that he was quite curious, though. Looking closely at Chazin, he had the pose and demeanor of a fighter. He then moved his arm in a graceful arch to indicate the stairs, “Then let us go. You can lead the way. Show me how exactly you track them down… because I’m usually very careful to keep my tracks covered and you were able to sense me. But then again, you were really following the Succubus, weren’t you? She was… hardly careful.” He said, as he prefered Chazin to walk up the stairs before him. It wasn’t out of a sense of distrust. Diomedes just didn’t like people walking behind him. But then due to the nature of Daedric Politics, he had had many attempts on his life thus making him very cautious by nature.
  19. When his orgasm died down, Thaene lay quietly on the bed as he enjoyed the tingling of pleasure that ran through him. He opened his eyes again when Karma came up and snuggled up against him, which made him sigh contently. It felt so nice to have Karma’s soft fur pressing against his skin. He then sighed softly again when he felt the canine-like tongue running across the skin of his neck, causing him to shiver slightly as cold goosebumps rose across his skin. When he felt a furry hand interlocking with his own, he returned the grip and held Karma’s hand firmly. He then snorted in a soft laugh at what the fox boy said, “I won’t get in trouble by asking my probation officer, Karma. And it doesn’t hurt to do so. The worst that can happen is that I get turned down. But, the main problem with my place is… well. Not my Grandparents. I think you would love them. However because it’s Christmas, they have family over including, well, my mother… and she’s not nice at all. I mean, she might expect you to fuck her, but other than that she wouldn’t be interested in you as a person.” Thaene said, giving a rather frank description of Jullian, his mother. Karma was such a nice person, he didn’t want to expose him to Jullian’s nasty nature. He then quickly added, “I’m not like her, at all. I’m actually nice.” He then grinned before he tightened his grip slightly, “But you’re really sweet for thinking of me like that. But the truth is, I’m used to getting into trouble… deliberately. I know what I’m doing. It’s not the first time I’ve asked to stay around someone’s house.” He then said.
  20. Location: Haunted Hotel Chazin’s explanation did little to satisfy Diomedes, because it didn’t explain much behind the ability. He breathed out through his nose, frowning slightly as he watched Chazin speak. Then when he summoned one of his daggers, Diomedes carefully scanner the object as it came into existence, however it didn’t offer up much in the way of information other than the substance of the object coming together to create the object. Did he merely pull elements from his environment and merged them together somehow to make up the materials needed? How could one have this ability and not want to study into how it works? He pulled his scanner away again once the dagger disappeared, the thoughtful frown still furrowing his eyebrows. “No, you wouldn’t have been able to make my scanner… It doesn’t even originate from this Universe and is made up of materials that you wouldn’t even remotely understand.” He said, his tone a little absent. He then tucked the scanner back into his coat pocket as he watched Chazin eat the steak, glad that the hybrid was polite enough not to talk with his mouth full. Or even eat with his mouth completely closed. Diomedes hated to see half chewed food and hated the sound of someone smacking their chops even more. It was enough to make his stomach twist in revulsion. But he approved of the boys good manners. “But, fine, you’ve certainly gotten me interested. But I still don’t know if you’re someone I could trust teaching anything. Providing you can even learn what I can teach you. What are you after, specifically? You say more power, but power how? New abilities? New tactics? New skills? … Knowledge? Because sometimes that’s all you need to be able to take down a more powerful opponent. The know how. Knowing their weaknesses… even knowing their strengths and knowing how to use it against them.” Diomedes said, folding his arms across his chest as he shifted, putting all of his weight on one foot as he looked down at Chazin. He hadn’t responded to Chazin’s question, because he wasn’t hungry and certainly wasn’t in the mood to eat. He was a man that didn’t like unnecessary conversation, thus he would not answer if he deemed it as such. It wasn’t out of rudeness, just the way he had been since a child. Thus, he wasn’t one for small talk and would ignore anyone who attempted to engage him in it.
  21. Introducing a Character This guide is here to give you some ideas as to what to put as the opening post of a character. It is a subjective guide, like the others, and might not apply to you or you may disagree with its contents. That is perfectly fine, as this isn’t a guide that has to be used by everyone and is only meant as a suggestion. Sometimes thinking of what to do for an opening post for a character can be difficult. Especially when you’re introducing them to a large roleplay where you really want to show them off and make a big entrance which can be challenging to not only come up with an idea, but to also implement. For the purposes of this guide, I will be using Olivia. If you read the guide on How to make an RP character, then you would know that Olivia is an eighteen year old Medical Student who is just starting University and was born in raised in New York. Her goal in life is to become a Doctor following the death of her father from Lung Cancer. She’s a kind, empathic person who can be very stubborn. Now I just need to think of a way to introduce her. Olivia is a very focused person, so when she sets herself a task she does not easily get distracted. So, perhaps I could start off the roleplay where she is startled awake by her alarm and finds herself sitting at her desk at home using a Medical textbook as a pillow. I can spend the first few paragraphs going into detail about her thoughts as well as giving insight into her history and also give indications as to how she ended up asleep at her desk. I will put an example paragraph of how I would have started off this Introduction post. Once I feel that I have made a proper introduction to my character and what she is like, then it is time to begin moving her. As mentioned in the Character ID, this character is intended to start the roleplay at University however she is currently at home with her parents. This is due to the fact that I will be using the introduction post to have her move her things to her University dorm. Because her father has passed away and her mother is someone that works a lot, Olivia would drive to the University alone. She would collect her room keys and move her things up into her dorm, and perhaps introduce herself to any NPCs. If there is another PC in the same dorm room, and the Roleplayer is agreeable, I can then place Olivia in a position where she can either approach, or be approached. This could be due to other students in the dorm room throwing a welcoming party. In total, I would expect that such an opening post would be at least 6+ paragraphs with plenty of detail about Olivia and the environment around her. There is a lot of content that would be covered in such a post, which I will break down below Olivia waking up and finding herself at her desk using a medical textbook as a pillow. Some private thoughts, perhaps about the previous night and what she was studying. Perhaps even about her father. Her realising that she needs to pack, and leave and doing so. You can also add a small scene of her getting ready, such as having a shower. Arrival at the University where she settles into her dorm room. Some interactions with NPCs. Conclusion, leaving the character open to being interacted with. One must be careful, to not go too overboard with an opening post. You don’t want to be overly verbose so that your post becomes filled with fluff with little substance to it. It is a very delicate balance that can be hard to achieve. With the post outline I have given above, it’s a good idea to gloss over some of the more uninteresting parts. For example, you don’t want to do a step by step description of how she made her toast and coffee. Keep the focus on the more interesting parts of what is happening, as well as keeping focus on her as the character. Notice how in my example paragraph I was having her look around the room, giving some hints into her personality? Such as the neatness of her room. Clearly she is someone that likes being neat and tidy. She’s also someone that will study hard all night long instead of doing the smart thing and going to bed. If I end up filling my post with fluff, like the toast example above, that might put people off as you’re putting unneeded detail into your post just to lengthen it and make it seem like you can do really nice long, details posts but in reality you’re filling it with little substance. Keep the post relevant for its purpose, which is the character themselves. All of the post focus should be on them. The readers don’t need to know about how toast is made, although if your character does something unique with their toast you could mention it in your post especially if it speaks about your characters quirks… like they like to dip their buttered toast into their coffee. Let’s take that first paragraph, and flesh out my example even further, so you can see what I mean; I decided to cut it there, because there is actually a chance for another character to come and interact with her. A student that lives on the same floor as she does, who can notice that her door is open which can only mean one thing; a new neighbour. So, the character could be curious enough to go and see who it is, and thus the actual roleplay begins. But the opening post for Olivia is quite long, and tells quite a bit of story about her, how she things and how she is reacting to the environment around her. She is nervous, but at the same time she is excited and eager to get to know the people she will be staying with. There are other points which would have been good cut-offs, especially if something has been agreed beforehand with another Dreamer. For example, when she went to wait in the queue. If another roleplayer had a character there already, that would have been a good cut off point to allow for any interaction. Another good point would have been when she pulled her items out of the boot of her car. Another character could have come along and offered to help her take her things up to her dorm, to save her the effort of doing two trips. Hopefully this guide has given you some ideas as to how you can give your character a good introduction into the roleplay, and to impress other roleplayers with your skill and attention to detail.

  24. Location: Haunted Hotel When Chazin poked his scanner, Diomedes pulled it away slightly, watching the hybrid with a suspicious glance. When Chazin made no move to follow the movement, he relaxed slightly but still continued watching him closely as he spoke. He hadn’t actually rejected Chazin’s offer, merely asked him why would he want to learn them them, other than to study them. The ability of making a perfect clone did interest him, but he wasn’t sure if his type of blood would be compatible due to the vast differences in their biology. His blood was filled with crystal, which might make him unable to even learn how to do it. But he was interested in how it worked, as well as the differences between the clones and the originals. He remained quiet as Chazin seemed to try and concentrate, with his hand held open palm up but after several moments nothing happened. Diomedes was about to say something however Chazin then said something quite strange. It sounded similar to some kind of computer code, yet he knew it wasn’t. He wasn’t an expert with such things, but he had learned a bit from his son, who was obsessed with computers when he was little and took a delight in teaching his ancient father about it. Both of his eyebrows shot up when a plate with what looked like a piece of steak appeared in his hand before a fork appeared as well. Immediately the smell of tenderly cooked meat began to fill the room. Diomedes scanned the steak, ignoring the question at first. It appeared to be a fully cooked steak. He pulled his scanner away, feeling perplexed as he had never seen anyone perform such a trick. He knew that one of his oldest, and most trusted of friends was able to do something similar, but it cost him a great deal of energy. But then he was messing around with Quantum science, and creating the elements on the spot and atoms required a lot of energy in order to bring into existence. It was why Nuclear fission, and fusion were looked at as powerful energy sources by humans. He sincerely doubted this individual had done it like that, otherwise he might have been left weak and gasping on the floor if not dead, “How are you able to do that?” He demanded, being a little rude in his surprise. Location: Lydia’s home Time: 21:37 Lydia blinked at his response to her question. Clearly his culture was vastly different from her own. She wondered if she should tell him that, or if it would make things even more awkward. She decided to just let it drop to save them both the embarrassment, “Uh… yeah, sure…” She said softly, letting out a soft, awkward laugh. She then pulled her lip to the side as she went back to inspecting the ordinary-seeming steak in front of her. She carefully cut off a portion and sniffed at it curiously. She then popped it into her mouth and slowly chewed it, causing her eyebrows to raise slightly in surprise. This was the best steak she had ever eaten in her life, “Wow… this is amazing.” She commented, taking another bite of it. She then looked up at the question that was suddenly fired her way. She blinked her green eyes at him, slowly chewing her mouthful before swallowing it. She then gave a slight shrug, “I’m just quite independent, that’s all. I work hard because I enjoy my job… it’s… well, my passion in life. I don’t actually have any family, so I have to rely on myself because there is no one else I can rely on…” She replied, before realising that made her sound rather sad and looking for sympathy, which she most certainly wasn’t so she added, “Not that I’m moping around over that. Life is life. Stuff happens. I’ve done quite well for myself.”
