Description: Two grass species that are cultivated for medicinal and culinary use. Citronella, especially in its oil form, forms the basis of many traditional antiseptics and insect repellents. Lemongrass is mostly used as a cooking herb and in traditional perfumes. Intelligence: Non-sentient. Definitely not sapient. Use: Citronella is great for insect repellents! Intelligence: Non-sapient or sentient Use: Wheat has many food related uses such as being made into a flour, semolina, bulgur wheat and cracked wheat amongst many others. Danger: Not suggested for consumption for anyone with gluten intolerance or allergies. Edible: Yes! Definitely once processed a bit.

Description: The seed of a grass species known as Oryza, this can be considered a cereal grain as it is a commonly eaten foodstuff that's from a grain. Has many regional variations depending on where it is grown. Intelligence: Non-sapient or sentient. Use: Obviously, the seed of this grass can be harvested and hulled to create rice as food or turned into other food related goods like flour or milk. Danger: None Edible: Yes!

"Umm...I think they are cotton." David replied meekly, as he continued to hide from Alvina in the laundry room. He wasn't sure how he was going to tell anyone about this or if anyone would believe him. How on earth did he wind up naked in a room with a girl, especially a elven one?! Just wondering if any Dreamers in this RP would be interested in doing a scenario with @Neptune and I about something strange in the neighbourhood...but in this case, we are not calling GhostBusters! Right now, it involves a certain mobile app being randomly downloaded to a specific number of individuals (Hopefully, 8-12 people) who have been 'selected' as bearers of the App to play a 'Battle Game' This game just involves you battling other players and whom or whatever gets in your way to get the Grand Prize, a granting of your deepest wish. *Inspired of Fate/Stay Night and Yuuki Yuna is a Hero*

I was under the impression that desalination was an energy intensive process hence why one does not see it done on a truly massive scale.

@Neptune Hmm...would it be possible to ask for some varieties of the following to be available on the island? - Rice (Would help Cassie a lot to have access to this) - Wheat -Lemongrass - Kaffir Lime Leaves - Galangal - Ginger - Garlic - Various species of chillies - Salt (A must for preserving) - Sugarcane And I'll think of some more later.

*However, the blow that Donovan was expecting never came. In fact it had no way of happening given...that through some twist of fate, this 'Mighty Action X' landed on a 'block' that mysterious appeared in midair! This block looked like something out of a video game, like an old school platformer. Never mind that having some sort of platform block appear out of thin air despite not being there a second ago was against any sort of reality that Donovan was used to, there simply didn't seem to be a mechanism that could result in this. The AI, however, seemed nonplussed by this and more bothered than Donovan's lack of action. He peered over the block and asked Donovan the following question.* "Wait...why are you just standing there? You DO have ranged attack options with that game! I should know, I've played it already!" the AI said, seemingly shocked that Donovan had no idea what he was doing. It was just then that some sort of musical jingle could be heard coming from the AI, who then seemed to know that he was getting a message from somewhere...perhaps on his phone! Perhaps that jingle was a ring tone for the Messenger App on his Arm Computer...though he didn't seem to have one on him. In fact, he didn't seem to have a phone or communication device on him at all. Then again, this thing was an AI and probably didn't need one. "EHHH?! He just got it TODAY?! Oh, that explains everything!" the AI exclaimed, its voice more emotive than one would expect out of an AI. "In that case, let me teach him the ropes! There's no need to read the manual when you have a Pro Gamer on-site!" *The communication between 'Mighty Action X' and this mysterious third party continued for a few moments more before the AI ended the conversation and jumped from the block back on the ground...which disappeared after he landed. Now, given that Donovan was NOT a gamer, this would make absolutely no sense to him but anyway...* "So, I've been told not only that you have just got this Game Image TODAY but you HAVE NEVER played a video game in your life." the AI said to Donovan, looking incredulous that this person had never played a game in his life. "In that case, we're going to have to go back to basics. I wouldn't worry though, you have a PRO GAMER here to help you!"

*In the morning, Xiang would notice that the OS on her Arm Computer had changed from its normal OS to a so called HERO OS. It didn't seem all that different from what the normal OS was, albiet with a few new features and new files on it. Though if Xiang tried to roll back the OS installation, she would find that she would be unable to do so. Some of the new files that Xiang would find on her Arm Computer was a few video files and some new apps. * *In one of the new video files, Xiang would notice it seemed to be some sort of video presentation for the Security Forces of MegaCity 2, run by the Dissidents who had splintered from MegaCity 1. In this presentation which was known as the 'Induction Video' by most and was made the the Consortium, much like most Arm Computer related technology. In the Induction Video, there was a representative from the Consortium with one of the high ranking officials of the Dissident Security Forces of MegaCity 2. It was quite a high production value video, it must be said with all the bells and whistles. Ruby could pick and choose what sections of the video he wanted to watch, much like a Blueray movie. In the video, the representative of the Consortium was talking about the HERO OS product and the related product, the Game Images (GIs for short). Now, if Xiang was up-to-date with his news, he would know that the Consortium had won a large government contract to help develop a new 'defense program' a year ago and it seemed from the video that this was the result. It appeared that this "Hero OS' update was in limited release for security and police personnel. From the sounds of it, this was not so much a live 'beta-test' where there were still bugs but a full release product specifically made for the Security Forces, including police personnel. As the video continued, the various functions of the Hero OS were described and demonstrated. As it turns out, the Hero OS does a few things more than the ordinary OS that Arm Computers have. For example, the Geo-Location and 'Map' capabilities have been changed and modified to allow for real-time information on sighting of threats to be uploaded and tracked. In other words, if anything bad in MegaCity 2 happened, those with the HERO OS would get a notification on the threat, its location and its nature and be able to track it in real-time. Another example of the functionality of the Hero OS was access to a special 'App' Store, linked to the Game Images. It turned out that one could purchase special functionality and quality upgrades for the Arm Computer and the Game Images from this Store, which was unusual as most Arm Computers were not easily upgraded. Also, the video would speak of the Game Images or GIs for short. It seemed that the GIs were essentially kind of like a specialised 'loadout' or configuration that people could use to defend themselves with. It seemed to be some sort of advanced technological development that allowed for rapid deployment of armed units to react and respond to threats. There were limited live demonstrations of the technology in the video, showing how the GIs functioned and what exactly they did. The operation of using the GI was quite easy, almost idiot-proof despite how mindbogglingly compelx the actual technology was. From the video, Ruby would learn the basics of how to use a Game Image and that there were more advanced tutorial features in the Hero OS product, under the How To Guide section in the OS GUI itself. It appeared to offer advanced simulations and helpful advice on how to use the OS and the GIs.* *Also, there was a new notification on her Arm Computer, saying that she got two new message on her Messenger App. However, if she would go and look at it, the message did not say who the sender was or give any information away from where it came from. Xiang also wouldn't be able to delete the message either and none of the in-built antivirus or antispam apps on the Arm Computer blocked it or picked up any threat from it. If she chose to open the app, she would read the following message.* For the Future that does not Exist yet... From the Past that Mortals Deny... Comes A Power That Will Decide If and What Future you Deserve... *The other message on her messenger device was a shipping notification, saying that a product would be arriving at her home today. It was odd as the message did not say what the product was nor who the sender was.* [Reply to Neptune] *Though Ruby wouldn't be able to tell as the face of the AI didn't came expression, the AI wasn't exactly enthused by her response. It thought that was the kind of response of someone that hadn't been 'in the deep end of shit' before, to use their phrase. While they certainly didn't hope for them to land in 'the deep end of shit', the AI knew that neither of them were not going to have a choice one way or another. It was going to tolerate their bravado for now because it certainly was not going to last when it came down to it. Now, the AI didn't care what they thought of their weapon. They knew exactly what it could do to an enemy, let alone a civilian. If only it were a toy and this was just some live action TV show...wait, did they just hold their gun sidewards like a newbie? Oh wait, they corrected it. Still, classic newbie mistake. As Ruby got ready for the upcoming 'training', the AI got ready and pointed their gun at Ruby.* "Simple. Each other." the AI said rather bluntly before they fired a few shots at Ruby. [Way Overdue Reply to @Chiyako] *Fortunately for Angela and perhaps unfortunately for Katsumi, the person who was driving the vehicle was a talented driver. It only seemed they were reckless because of the somewhat outrageous speeds they could get away driving with and yet not lose control over the vehicle. In fact, their control over the vehicle was pretty much total, so Angela and Katsumi were in safe hands. If only the rest of the people on the road could drive like this...oh well. Although this meant Katsumi wouldn't be getting 'lucky', it was probably for the best. Angela wouldn't exactly be pleased with Katsumi if she did and even if she were a kid, Angela wouldn't exactly show her mercy later. Well, at least Katsumi could enjoy the sight of Megacity 2 passing back rapidly...as well as the random vehicles getting out of the way of this seemingly speed obsessed driver. If there was one problem with this driver, it was they tended to like to show off. Then again, they were seemingly paid to get to Point A and B as fast as possible. Why bother with things that got in the way of that, especially if they were slow? It didn't take long for the scenery that Katsumi would see out of the window to change from her usual abode to a more urban environment as they passed through the city Centre to the 'better off' end of town in which they were going to. All the pretty lights and all the new sights and sounds, what would Katsumi think of this? She was going to have to get used her new surroundings quite quickly as she was going to be put to work as soon as she was able.*

"Very well, just be careful and don't try to play 'hero'. I don't want you to get in over your head." Cassandra replied to Alez, in a sincere voice. She was a bit concerned that Alez might try to overcompensate for her 'failure' when they met by accidentally getting into more trouble. That was a classic 'newbie' mistake and one that cost many a life on the field. "I will keep you alive as best I can so you can return home in one piece." *Cassandra had a realisation that Alez was doing her best to be humble before her as she had the most battle experience out of the both of them. It felt a bit odd to be accompanied...even if it was someone who seemed fresh out of basic training. Cassandra felt a responsibility to keep Alez as safe as possible, even though they just met and that defending this girl might make things a fair bit harder. Though it might be quite an inconvenience, she couldn't stomach or consider the thought of letting such an inexperienced person fall here...not when they have somewhere to go home to.* "If you would follow me for now, I will take you to where I think we are wanted. There's a small village further down this way. It shouldn't take long to get there by foot. Ordinarily, I would have suggested that you fly there and scout out the village. But something tells me that might not be a good idea. The being that most likely made this Domain would most likely be able to spot you and would attempt to take you out." *Cassandra sighed to herself, as she knew she was going to have to reveal what she knew about this place to Alez. Ordinarily, that wouldn't be a problem as it was the most practical thing to do. However, this situation was unique as it dealt with Cassandra's own personal matters and she always found it hard to share that with other people...especially now. Cassandra started to walk away from Alez, towards the village and small amphitheatre. She motioned Alez to follow her.* "Now this village we are heading to was where I and someone close to me lived out the remainder of our lives after we 'saved' the world from another recurrence of the Source of All Evil. Though life was simple and dull compared to our adventures together, we considered it a blessing to be able to live a peaceful life away from conflict...and with each other. If memory serves, the music you are hearing is just that person playing one of their stringed instruments though its name escapes me at the moment. They usually play more...upbeat and pleasant songs than this though...well, at least they used to when I was with them last." *It would be obvious from what Cassandra was saying and the way she was saying it that this person and her were VERY close, most likely lovers. The distant and longing expression in Cassandra's eyes strongly suggested this.*

To answer the first question, you copy the character sheet from the Player Select section and paste it onto the character image you want to use. There should be a details section available when you upload a picture to the gallery. You can also add the sheet onto a existing character image in your gallery/folder on this RP by editing the details of your image. For the second question, after you create your character, you just plop them into the Game as your character. Depending on what their backstory is, they will get their Game Image in various ways.

I see you found the place to put the character sheet but but did you mean by the second question?

*As Cassandra listened to Alez's explanation of to what celestials were and how Alez herself seemingly changed form, she could hear Helheim's voice in her mind. They didn't seem overly impressed with the explanation that Alex was giving. In fact, they didn't seem to be taking it very seriously at all. This reaction bothered Cassie and so, without changing her outer expression of intent listening (both out of consideration for Alez and so that Alez wouldn't think Cassie herself was crazier than she was), she tried to reprimand Helheim about their behaviour.* Are you done? I'm trying to get some useful information about Alez and... Cassandra 'replied' back to Helheim by merely concentrating on that thought stream. While out the outside, it looked like Cassandra was intently and seriously listening to Alez (and she was), she was also having an internal conversation with Helheim...who she really didn't know much about other than what she could get out of them...which did not tend to be much. I bear no ill intent towards our young companion and I do not think she speaks falsely. Then what's with some of your comments? Cassandra snapped back at Helheim mentally, acting a bit protective of Alez whom she thought they were disparaging. Such as that they seem more akin to the dead than to the living? *Helheim seemed to sigh audibly though obviously no-one but Cassandra would hear them or know they had a channel of access inside her mind.* I am merely just making an observation, based on what they have said. It is interesting that they talk of their mortal body as being a cage when their 'celestial form' seems much more restricting. Isn't it interesting that the emotions and minds of these celestial beings must be so tightly controlled and regulated just to 'be'? 'Pure' minds..balanced emotions...do you even know what that means? Have you ever met a mortal like that, whose mind is 'pure' and whose emotions are 'balanced'? What would such a mortal even be like? Is it not the case that mortality is a condition where such things are not achievable or even meaningful? What do those terms even mean, Cassie? In mortal terms, do 'pure' and 'balanced' mean anything...if they intended to mean or refer to anything at all? To those questions, Cassandra had no answer. Of course, she wasn't really interested in answering those sorts of questions. She was more interested in the 'now'. No response? I would have expected someone of your stature to be concerned with matters as these. After all, you are... "...Shut up." Cassandra responded back to Helheim internally, interrupting them. She figured she knew where he was going with that and she didn't particularly like the direction. She so wasn't in the mood for it. Now, she felt she had wasted enough time with Helheim and now since she had sensed that Alez had finished talking about her Celestial form, was now more inclined to talk to her. Very well. For someone supposedly concerned with practical matters, you certainly have your theoretical priors. Ignoring Helheim for now, Cassandra went back to talking to Alez. But before she did, she heard music coming from what seemed to be a small settlement further down the grassy knoll which Alez and Cassie were on. The music itself was nice but there seemed to be a tragic undertone to it that was very palatable even to an untrained ear. Cassandra looked at Alez with a rather grave and serious expression on her face. "Looks like we're expected. We best get going. I hope you are ready, Alez."

*Cassandra could tell that Alez was not comfortable with the question she asked as Alez seemed to change the subject without giving her much information on what was going on inside of Alez. She did tell Cassandra though what she was doing though so that helped. So that was what that 'light' was. Though Cassie wondered why the girl's form had seemingly changed, no wings and all and why Alez seemed so tired. Perhaps this 'feeling search' was exhausting for her or something. This wasn't good as Cassie would have preferred Alez to be in a better condition since she assumed that they were going into battle soon. Well, this was going to mean more work for her. Cassandra also noted that she said something about 'coming to the surface' which was unusual. From what Cassie expected that this girl was from another world or something, not from some place underground. Unless of course the girl meant that she was from underground in another world...then that would explain that too. As Alez seemed to cry from what she may have saw or felt during the 'feeling search', Cassandra did not seem too emotional about it. From her perspective, what happened was unavoidable. Anyway, her current position was bought on by her choices and the consequences that followed, Cassandra couldn't really complain about how the dice fell given that complaining would do little to change things.* "Well, if you want to help me in this, it would help if you could explain to me why you seemed to change 'form' just now?" Cassandra asked politely. "Was that process of 'feeling search' that draining on you? Do you need a rest afterwards? Unfortunately, I don't suppose we have much time for a rest in this place. Hmm...would a restorative potion help? I believe I have a few on me."

*Surprisingly, Cassandra was taking things quite well considering Alez was indeed laying a hand on her body and looking straight into her eyes. This was something that Cassandra was not used to doing and it made her rather uncomfortable. Any form of intimacy or even something as little as this was somewhat of a foreign experience for Cassandra and she found it hard to concentrate and focus. Still, she managed to look back at Alez straight in the eye as well, though it was obvious from the way Cassie looked at Alez that there was something about this that bothered her. Though really, the 'bother' only existed in her mind. Cassie was so unused to being close to anyone or letting anyone in, that doing so constituted somewhat of a relationship progression...and relationships were something she was never good at. Poor Cassie looked quite embarrassed and somewhat bewildered that this young woman was touching her in such a way and her own body was betraying it. Despite this, even feeling disconcerted as Cassie was, even she could feel some sort of connection growing between them. Though she wasn't quite sure what specifically was going on, she felt some of Alez's emotions that were going on behind the scenes...as well the more obvious ones ones that Cassie was more familiar with. Now while Cassandra was not one to pry into the secrets of others, she was a bit curious as to why she felt some familiar dark emotions inside Alez which seemed more at home with her.* "Alez...I..umm..is something on your mind?" Cassandra managed to stammer, even her voice sounded like a smitten young girl though she was far from that age. "I...It's like I can 'see' your heart..."

Hmm...thinking about places I can use my NPCs to further plot! I'm thinking of having 'mentor' NPCs at least to begin with for all the PC in the RP. Also, if any Super Sentai/Kamen Rider/tokusatsu fans are out there, you will notice a large amount of homages and references to earlier series.
