GM-less revolution! We have nothing to lose but our chains! I'm up for giving it a chance. If we want to give RtS a chance to see like @DreamsnThings says, I'd maybe say, if we don't hear by the start of July, then we're good to go ahead? Would it feel weird for you if the rest of us ran the setting and NPCs while you continued just running your own character? I get that you didn't sign up to GM, and if it's not something you'd be excited for, I wouldn't want to push it on you. But this feels preferable to letting the story die if we don't hear back from RtS.2 points

Do we want to try to run this GMless during @roll to seduce's ongoing hiatus? It's kind of a janky way to do it, but I'm with all of you in absolutely adoring this game. My thought on how to approach that would be that when we post we each add a paragraph at the end for the NPCs and town itself. Thoughts?2 points

I Didn't Think I Needed To Say It, But... Apparently this must be said. I roleplay sexual antics and shenanigans. I write erotically charged fiction. It's just writing. I am not your girlfriend. I don't write this and reply to you to get aroused in real life. Why I Suck As a RP Partner I'm not the most reliable partner. I disappear for extended periods, often without warning. in all seriousness though, I do like the idea of her working on the next gen of Eblockers, and well trying to balance out the hormones she ended up negating her own Eblockers. realizing what she was a part of she played it cool and bided her time well looking for a chance to escape. and that came during a raid the LU did on the hive my main hang up is the specifics on her frame... currently im liking the idea of a bumble bee or wasp theme, mostly because of the syringe weapon i mentioned before1 point

I agree that the feel is a little misaligned from the first post, thats actually a big part of why I was hiding inside basically a JCpennys attic.. and why i took so long to jump in, there was so much action despite it sounding like the city was scared to breath too loud and cause the pin to drop. Im absolutely loving it so far dont get me wrong, but I just wanted to note you are... not alone there.1 point

im liking the idea that my character was actually a mid level officer for the other side at one point who never particularly liked the hive model. who jumped ship and switched sides, possibly taking some key blueprints with her detailing some of the Eblocker tech... because she helped make the inital prototypes for the Eblockers. shes someone respected due to her notable help in pushing back the hive in her information, but who is also not fully trusted since... at one point, she was fully on the other side. similarly im taking inspiration from a league of legends character, rell, who has a mount that transitions between a robotic horse1 point

Well the plan was for there to be smaller happenings so the people participating could meet up (and make connections for the future), have a couple incidents to test out writing their abilities maybe, and get into mindspace of the characters. Small things while the threat looms over head, it's all petty compared. Not too much longer now cause I also feel as though we have a good number of characters for an open.1 point

I've made my introduction of Terry and Beat Down, but do not plan on them interacting with anyone until the alien attack begins. I will say, reading through the current posts, it feels like the first post is supposed to convey a nervous, quiet stillness, but there's explosions and debris and buildings on fire and looting and people bouncing around... I think, for people's sanity, it might be good to get the attack going now that you have approximately six participants, and keeping to smaller pairings or trios so new players can just jump in during the fight and pair off more easily. That's just my thought, though. I tried to latch o1 point

It probably wasn’t good to dwell on that, what happened happened and could not be undone. She just tried to process everything.
