Thanks for letting me know! That's definitely not intentional, the block is supposed to apply to UK connections only, so Sweden should be able to access the site normally.

The fact that you're also seeing the UK-block notice through several other European VPN locations, while a US connection works, is useful. It sounds like something in our geolocation or blocking logic is incorrectly classifying or catching some non-UK traffic.

I'll investigate it and fix anything that's within our control. If the underlying problem turns out to be incorrect data from the third-party geolocation provider, though, our options may be more limited and it might take longer to resolve. I don't want to promise a fix before I know what's actually happening, especially given the legal situation we're already dealing with in the UK.

Thanks for reporting it and sorry about the hassle.

I've found the problem, and I have good news, I fixed it. This is related to the Server OS update this morning. Essentially, what happened is that the upgrade replaced our actively maintained IP geolocation database with a seven-year-old copy provided by the OS package. Because apparently that makes perfect sense. 🤦‍♂️

The current database has now been restored, and I've also changed the setup so EcchiDreams uses its own automatically updated copy going forward, which should prevent this from happening again.

Thank you for alerting me to this. I will be awarding the maximum payout under the bug bounty programme...

Which is in EcchiCredits. :)
