"there are beasts that plague this city?? ive been to many towns but never heard of anything like this"

Vivi hears some chatter from the lobby as she is dusting inside the store room. She puts down her feather duster, brushes off her apron, pulls a cobweb out of her hair and heads to the front desk. She sees Lena and another woman.

" Welcome back miss Lena. How do you do miss, do you need a room?" Vivi smiles as she greets her guests.

'every city has been plagued.....why are you wearing cow ears?"

"hmmmm ive only traveled through small towns so far, and i only heard rumors of beasts, not to any degree that you seem to be describing..."

hearing a new voice i turn, "Oh hello, you must be the owner, my names Skylar its a pleasure to meet you" i say to Vivi

"didnt really answer my question" lena looks at vivi

"Ah, miss skylar, such a pretty name for such a unique woman." Vivi bows

"My apologies for intruding, please continue while I see which rooms are available."

lena watches vivi

"ok thank you, i dont know how long ill be staying though, and its good to meet you" i said to vivi, before turning back to Lena

"oh to answer your question I wear a cow outfit because i have a unique ability to produce milk without needing to have been or become pregnant, i dont really know why, but it may have something to do with my gift to heal people. You see im a herbalist, i work with herbs and other plants and have a knack for treating people."

"ok.....wait you produce milk yet you are not pregnant"

"Yea.." i say blushing slightly, "its something that started up when i was about 16 or so. its getting to the point where im needing to get milked every other day. oh! sorry i said too much. but yeah thats why i wear the cow outfit. it seems fitting doesnt it?" i give Lena a weak smile

lena raises an eyebrow and lightly pokes her breasts

"Here we go miss skylar, I have you all set up for room 106." Vivi hands her an old brass key, with a wooden tag that reads "106".

" And feel free to stay as long as you like, and if you need anything just ask me!" I notice Lena is poking her breast, and smile " Have fun you two!"

"not my fault they are pokable" lena smiles at her "cute really"

i blush even more."ummm thanks~" what is this place? The owner didnt even bat an eye at her poking my breast, in fact she seemed to encourage it. This is certainly a strange city. 

"oh thanks, and i will. is there anything special or any times that i should be aware of while i stay here?" i ask as i accept the key from Vivi.

"Most of us regular folk stay inside at night, but any real questions should be directed at the hunters." Vivi gestures to Lena, and smiles.

"oh ok, ill keep that in mind. Maybe ill need a hunter to stick around with me and protect me. And could you point me in the direction of my room?" i say, my travel pack starting to get a bit heavy on my shoulders.

lena gets up from her table her rifle spear resting on her shoulder

"wait where are you going?"

"helping you" lena takes her pack and walks to skylar's room

"What a nice neighbor! Have a good time you two." Vivi says cheerily as she returns to the front desk.

"oh ok um thanks" i say addressing both of them as me and Lena exited the room. This was certainly a strange place. Heading down the hallway we reached room 106 and i unlocked the door to let the two of us inside.
