This is an area where the female servants sleep when they are not entertaining guests for the night. There is very little privacy and servants sleep on futon mats on the tatami floor. There is a seperate room for the bathing needs of the servants. The room can hold up to 50 people in it and each staff building has multiple rooms of this size
