"All I did was..." [Yubi x DoctorMindbender]

Sigh... He's trying to get her to feel guilty or something? Well, he sure is doing a good job then. Maeve can't believe she's falling for this. "You'll do anything for me, right?" She questioned with a smile, a nefarious one that she rarely shows. "It would be bad if I don't show a bit of appreciation for your devotion."

Maeve smiled as she continued, "Well, I said the dress was a waste but it can't be helped if it's here. I may as well wear it for it to not be a waste." With that, she went back to the previous room to change to the wedding dress with the lingerie underneath. It really fits her like a glove. But how the hell did he- You know what? Nevermind. She knew the answer to her question.

Sam turned his face away from the open door as she got dressed, he wanted to sneak a peak, to be truthful he had seen her already undressed in photos ... but this was different. This was their wedding day. He was dedicated to doing this right. Yes, he loved her but he also wanted her body but it had to be doing the right way, as his wife.

It took a bit of time to wear this dress alone but once she was done, she fixed her hair a little bit to at least look presentable since she doesn't even have make up on. She didn't really didn't want to do this but for the sake of her plan escape, she will. At least, she convinced herself that way. Finally, she came out wearing the dress, standing straight to do it justice.

Sam face was beaming as she walked through the door, "You look even more beautiful then I imagined." He straightened himself up, looking quite dashing in his tuxedo, even with the tear stains still on the suit breast from earlier. In his hand, he held a gold wedding band. Stepping forward, he extended his other, an obvious offer to taker her hand in his.

He had meant to start the music, should he now - no. This moment was not as he had planned, but it was still perfect. With a gentleness he lifted Maeve's hand. "With this ring I thee wed." he vowed, as he slipped the ring over her finger, followed by a soft warm kiss on the back of her hand. Oh ... there was something else had forgotten. Just as gently he lowers her hand again. Blushing, clearly embarrassed at had forgotten something else so important, he rummaged through his pants pocket, coming up with another box adorned with black felt, containing his wedding ring. He offered the closed box to Maeve.

Feeling the ring slip into her finger, Maeve knew that she has to maintain a facade for a while. What struck her as odd was the fact that they have no guest because wouldn't their parents normally be around for a wedding? There's no way he did something to her parents, right? Seeing him give her a box, Maeve opened to see a bigger ring, to which she took out of the box and slid it on his finger.

Sam had never been so happy in his life. He lifted her veil, leaning in close. Wrapping his arms, stronger then expected, he embraced her. He placed her lips to hers, his tongue making an exploratory gesture to part them. The kiss is loving, surprisingly gentle, but also passionate, full of longing.

An ecstasy filled Sam, which he hadn't known possible from a simple kiss.  Of course, he'd never kissed a woman before, it was his first, but he was happy to give that to Maeve, and so much more. He drew it out, long, slow, his hand brushing her cheek gently, letting his tongue explore the contours of her mouth. Finally, he pulled away. He motioned towards the layered cake.

Her face felt hot and her knees were growing weak. She had never felt a kiss like that before and that's saying something. She felt his tongue explore her mouth and she allowed him to do so. It didn't take long until he pulled away and Maeve seemed dazed. It wasn't until he motioned to the cake and she muttered, "Oh, right."

Sam took her hand, guiding towards the cake. Together they picked up the plastic serving knife, and brought it down, piercing the icing, splitting through the moist fluffy cake, revealing it's secrets. From the look, the smell, Maeve could tell it was her favorite, as carefully curated as everything else about this day.

Sam slid the slice onto a paper plate, decorated with flowers gilded in fake gold foil, it could almost be confused for china. With a plastic force, he scooped off a piece, sure to get the proper ration of cake and frosting, bringing it to Maeve's mouth.

The cake was indeed as moist, and tasty as it had appeared. Sam cuts off another bite, feeding it to her. And again, each bite as good as the first, until the slice is gone. Sam is pleased at her reaction to the cake, had put so much work into baking it. With the last piece gone, he pulled a napkin and daintily dabbed the corners of her mouth, before placing a quick soft kiss upon her lips.

Maeve didn't want to admit it but she likes how the cake was made. Once she manages to get her pride down a little, she might ask him where he bought the cake because it tasted good. Her train of thought stopped for a second when he gave her lips a quick kiss. She quickly cleared her head and reminded herself that this is for the escape plan.

Sam stood, and motioned for Maeve to do the same. From the dresser he retrieved a small remote, with a button press and a soft click music a small radio comes to life. The music it was playing is slow, romantic, as carefully selected and perfectly matched as everything else about this day.

"May I have this dance?" Sam asked

Finally, the last song wound down, reaching it's conclusion.

Sam sat on the edge of the bed, gently patting the spot beside of him. They had said the words and exchanged rings. They had eaten the cake, and shared a dance. There was only one thing left, or so Sam reasoned, to make this marriage official and seal their relationship.

Seeing him sit on the edge of the bed, Maeve immediately knew what was going to happen. It isn't exactly her first time but she never thought that he would do it immediately. She reasoned that this too is necessary for her plans, that she will have the last laugh. With that, she sat beside him.
