Better Late Than Never?

Hello! I've already been using the site for a few weeks now and I missed this when I signed up, but my account still has the newbie tag on it so here I am.

I got into roleplaying through MMOs and eventually discovered SL where I truly delved deep into eRP. While I haven't been on there in a few years I still seem to have a tendency to start my posts with /me.

My writing and literacy skills, I feel, are fairly competent and while I do expect a certain level of competence out of my RP partners, I'm happy to overlook the odd spelling or grammar mistake. I find that I get hung up trying to figure out how I want to phrase things, or going back and rewriting things for fear of repetition in my choice of words.

This is something that I'm doing in my spare time at work, so aside from looking to have a sexy and fun escape from the tedium of the nine-to-five life I am also doing this as a means of practising my writing skills.
